After arriving we couldnt find the person supposed to wait for us with a sign,once we found the booth we were directed to the vehicle (it was in a vary bad condition),unfortunately all the seat belts were broken down so we couldnt travel safe with an infant. We were basically told if we don't want to travel we could still take a taxi. I tried to speak the manager and demand a safe transportation as per agreement and already paid service,we were literally told to f*** off. We ended up taking a taxi. Never in my life have I witnessed such rudeness and bad service, I advice and highly recommend not to ever use their service!Written 20 January 2023
- fred50000 contributionsdisaster just avoidedA near disaster only just avoided! I am in a wheelchair and my wife went to the help desk and got staff to take me in, very prompt and efficient. We were then taken to Gate38C and left with a promise to return in 45 ins Wrong. 2 and a half hours later we had to ring TUI UK help line to get us out and every other flight had left, all late, some by 3 hours and at last we were shown as A2, All the passing cleaners shrugged their shoulders , and moved on. All the water sales cabinets (3) were broken and after another 20 mins wait one man arrived to push two wheelchairs the whole length of the air port, just in time for take off, But we then discover the flight was 45 mins late, as there was only one bus available to get from gate to plane. TUI SAVE THE DAY with free water and sandwiches when we boarded!.Written 1 June 2022

- Samuelboy0 contributionsThe Currency Exchange is staffed by one of the most unfriendly persons I've ever encountered.I asked the person in the money exchange if she knew where you get the best WiFi connection in the airport. She looked up from her phone and in an extremely rude voice said. This is not Airport information. At the time she had no customers and could have been even slightly civil to an old guy probably asking a stupid question. Some people are not suited to work with other human beings. She is one of these or maybe her mobile phone was just too interesting. After she had given me short shift she sat for the next 2 hours with about 3 customers. I arranged online to get me from tenerife airport to costa adeje iberostar. All I had to do was give my date and flight number.
I was sent confirmation stating which desk to go to upon landing and was taken straight to a taxi. My return was effortless as was sent attachment stating time of pickup and they arrived on time.
I just printed out document and shown driver.
Very impressed as me and my husband was picked up in a VIP minibus and taken back to the airport. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. To top it all off I booked and got a €19 discount because there was a black friday deal on.. Absolutely fantastic service...

I have made a reservation with this unpresentable company.
Which deceive the client with services that are later not fulfilled.
I had a reservation for 11 and from 10:52 I was where they were supposed to pick me up to take me to their offices because no one showed up there and after almost 45 minutes calling the phone number they provide and not getting a response I had to pick up a taxi .
But the worst thing is that the next day I call them first thing in the morning and they tell me that the reservation is canceled and they won't refund my money.
In other words, they charge you for a service that they do not provide and you are not able to enjoy said car. They do not cancel it and give you your money back, but rather they leave you stranded without the money.
A scam and I am going to report it to both the OCU and consumer

Just a very quick review of the security staff (well one member of the staff).
What a ridiculously rude person, how someone with his complete lack of manners has this position is beyond me.
On arrival there was someone showing everyone how to use the new passport scanners, that person was great. The next person actually checking the passports well let's just say his parents have done a terrible job. When I handed him my passport grabbed it out of my hand stamped it and literally threw it back at me. At that point there was no queue as I was first through so he was under no pressure to keep any queue moving.
I do hope his supervisor finds out about his attitude problem.
I did speak to some other passengers at the baggage claim who said he had done the same to them.
I have to say everyone else I came into contact with at the airport were fine.
He obviously does not realise that without tourists Tenerife would be not much more than a baron island with very little there.

It took us well over an hour to get through passport control. We were put into a queue for EU citizens with families. What they weren't telling us was it was slowing moving line because it was full of Brits who, after doing all the relevant checks, had their passport checks and stamped through. So much for British citizens being disadvantaged because they voted for Brexit. I"m not really sure why they separated people at the start of the queue as there were absolutely no consequences for joining the wrong queue.

I booked a company called Mr Transfer to meet us at the airport on arrival and at the end of our holiday pick us up and take us back to the airport.
On arrival there was no sign of our driver and after waiting over 45 minutes..I finally managed to contact the company only to be told the driver had left early to go to another job.
Great start to our holiday !!!.
We got a taxi and to my surprise it was far cheaper than my original booking.
The original booking was £96 and the cost of the taxi in total £68 .
To be fair to Mister Transfer gave me a full refund within 48hrs and a full apology.
Be careful booking transfers local taxis are just as good.

We flew here into Tenerife South Airport for our holiday in Tenerife. As it is still a difficult time for travelling. I think Tenerife South handled the situation very well. The best oat for me is how Jet 2 were getting everyone off the planes, row by row.instead of the usual crush of people in the aisles. This should be carried on in the future.

Please be prepared for a long wait queueing to get through Tenerife South Airport both arriving on 2 July and departing 10 days later. We - a family of five including one child - so we were directed into the 'fast lane' - took just under two hours to get through passport control on arrival and about an hour on our return trip. Our flights ran to schedule, so we were expected when we arrived, but the arrangements for dealing with whatever needed to be dealt with were an uncontrolled shambles with no apparent management of the situation. Our flights were great - our hotel was fabulous and the weather was just what one expected - but never again for me, i'm just too old at 81 to stand in queues for that length of time, so no return to Tenerife ever for me.

Absolutely will never use again...we booked about 6 months ago on Ryanair...MyTransfers was one of the options to select on Ryanair. We are a family of five, 2 adults and 3 "small" kids. We booked this airport transfer service so we would have no hic cups from our arrival to Tenerife South and short journey to Costa Adeje. Driver was there upon our arrival into Tenerife South. Van was rough...dated! We hopped in "exhausted" from our travels from 8am that morning, took a flight from Ireland 4 hours and 30 mins with a 6 year old, a 3 year old and a two year old. We arrived at our apartment in Costa Adeje, handed over a tip to the driver only to find he wants €48 for using 3 baby chairs/seats...Yes! I said hold on a minute, we paid in full with Ryanair for this transfer back in Ireland. The driver said he had poor english...he doesnt understand us...how convienient but he was well able to say €48 for using baby chairs/seats. I out and out refused to pay this HIDDEN CHARGE...thats what it is. Nowhere when i purchased this transfer with Ryanair was i told that any special requests would cost us €48...upon asking driver for breakdown of €48, he couldnt tell me so he rang his call centre and put me on to a lady not abit nice i must add and she gave me a breakdown €48, charge of €16 per a chair. I stuck to my word and said no way. Hidden charge. When we selected special requests of baby chairs that charge should of came up then...not when we arrive in Tenerife. I have since tried to make contact with MyTransfers and it has been just awful. I have a return trip to Tenerife South. Going on reviews, this company "MyTransfers" is not to be trusted for airport drop off...Trying to catch a flight! Let me be clear, under Spanish law it is a requirement for a driver to accommodate children with appropriate seating...Yes, the driver/company responsibility to insure safety. This should not be a money making exercise
