Beaked whale mother and cub sighted
Sorry no photos to show but I’m sure some of the other on board will share. Had a lovely day out in Isla Los Lobos with some snorkelling done. The tide was low so not ideal but still nice. Obviously the highlight was the sighting of the beaked whale and cub. It was the tour operator classifying the species so I’m just reporting. They mentioned it was the first sighting so close to the boat in 4 years and it was from the good energy on board....I’ll take it. The operator also supplied a nice picnic bag for lunch. Coming in and out of the boat in the island is a bit sketchy so be mindful of imparted mobility. Overall a 5/5 from me on the day.

Neat day out
Very good activity to do if you have time. The Lobos island is walkable and this is exactly what I did for most of my time on it:) the picnic lunch provided was nice the staff were professionals. Raquel speaks all the languages and I think everyone felt safe and welcomed !

Lovely trip
Feb 2020
Good trip. Pick up and drop off good. People on the boat were very friendly. Couple of hours on the island was about right - time to sit on the beach and eat the provided picnic (which was very generous) and a slow paced walk around. Or you could do an energetic looking walk up a big hill. Luckily we had glimpses of dolphins on the way back which was obviously fabulous; wildlife is not guaranteed and should never be expected, but should be seen as a bonus.

BEAUTIFUL SPOT
Oct 2019
Lovely relaxing place to visit, the lagoon by the small village is beautiful and peaceful, we only had 2 1/2 hours on the island, but which we could of stayed longer,
suitable for all ages, safe swimming areas for the young ones, the water is crystal clear so is perfect for snorkelling,

Captain and Crew were lovely but trip very very disappointing
Jul 2019 • Family
On arriving on the boat, there were no seats left for myself and my 8 year old to sit together. Only a lady and her daughter moved , we would not be sitting together. The whole idea for going on the trip is that I thought from the reviews is that we would see dolphins .. the only wildlife we did see was a few seagulls. We have plenty of seagulls in Ireland! Lobos is lovely but there were no toilets on the island and the resaurant was closed on the 16th and 17th July.
We both don't swim and we were stuck on the island for 2.5 hours.
I paid €93 for one adult and one child. My son enjoyed the trip home and I left sorry for staff and did tip.I think people need to be advised that they are not guaranteed to see wild life. Lunch was grand... but after the huge fly sat on my sandwich... I figured I better throw it away.

Great trip and lovely staff
Apr 2019 • Family
We booked this trip via tripadvisor before we went, along with another trip. Just a word of advice, make sure you call the operator and confirm pick ups and times etc, as in both cases not all of the information seems to have been passed on by tripadvisor to the operator.

That aside we were picked up from a nearby bus stop (when booking via this site it states hotel pickup). However, the transport was on time, clean and tidy and the staff were good. They took us to the port where we boarded and then set sail. They had plenty of blankets as the spray from the water was coming in a little bit. We managed to see a few dolphins and even some whales on route which was lovely. We even saw a large turtle on the way back.

The Island itself was lovely and very quiet so we spent a good couple of hours here on the beach and in the cafe before returning back. The staff were very good and the whole experience was lovely.

Dolphins
If you love dolphins then this was amazing, to see them in their natural beauty, wild and free, totally worth it. Fab views and the excitement of looking for and seeing the dolphins is fabulous. Lovely captain and crew, Raquel was lovely and gave commentary on the info of the dolphins and as we passed other islands. Glorious sunshine, gorgeous dolphins, fab packed lunch , fun boat ride. My kids are 4 and 5 and they loved it (sea sickness was brief) . I was so happy with the trip.

Wonderfull experience !
Mar 2019
Boat - the boat is new and well maintained.

Crew - the crew and the captain were very friendly, they did their best to provide not only historical information regarding the island but also some interesting facts about the region and the sea life.
The information was provided in Spanish, English and French.

Dolphins - we did have the chance to see dolphins and quite a lot of them, at least 20 or 30.
The crew took the time to provide some facts about the species and also allowed us more then enough time to take photos.

Lunch - the lunch bag that was provided was very well stocked and more then enough for a snack on the beach.
We had 4 different drinks as well as two different sandwiches.

Lobos Island - is a very beautiful place, really a must see !
The beaches have golden sand and the lava formations offer a perfect wind shade.

We had a great time and would recommend this trip.
