Sounded wonderful … in reality it fell somewhat short.

We were asked to meet at a certain pick up point at 9 am; bus was late - eventually arriving at 9.30 am - and THEN spent the next hour collecting people from other hotels before we were back at the original point they picked us up from ( which was on the main road !)
.10.30 am departure from Playa Blanca and midday arrival at the port for our trip by ferry to La Graciosa to pick up the catamaran for our island tour.

12.30 pm catamaran departure, sailed a short distance to one bay for lunch, swimming/snorkelling if you wished , then 3 pm back to the ferry point at La Graciosa ( half hour sail) for our 4.30 pm ferry to Lanzarote
Cruise itself lasted just 3 hours

Plus points on the cruise - lunch and local beers/wines/ soft drinks included; minus points no attempt to sail around the island so I still don’t feel we got to see any of La Graciosa other than the closest bay (Pirate Beach)

However what was of REAL concern was, despite signs everywhere exhorting us to wear face masks and observe social distancing, there was no attempt to enforce this either on the coach to the port ( which was absolutely full) or on the ferry which was also full.

In these Covid pandemic times there should have been two coaches and two boats for the numbers on this particular trip so that we could all breathe a little easier ….. instead the operators acted as if Covid had never happened !

Disappointed …….

Lots of confusion from other guests as to the trip detail. Some spent 2 hours on the bus to pick up other guests and were not amused. No toilet. Communication/response was zero on our booking questions for our pickup time. Twice. Eventually we called the office direct- trip advisor had us recorded at another location! Good service by guide and boat crew. Nice tapas and bubbles upon arrival on the cat. Very disappointing lunch of tuna pasta! Nothing Spanish! Have been on many similar Spanish excursions where we have had much more generous food (freshly grilled chicken, fish etc). This excursion is poorly labelled as a ' full day` Hmmm, we got on the cat at 11.30 and back to the ferry port at 3.30pm. Disappointed.

Had a fantastic day with my 3 sons aged 14+, the crew were attentive, the food was lovely and it was very well organised indeed. All Covid guidelines were adhered to and it did not interfere with our enjoyment. We took our own masks and snorkels which was advisable as they are currently not able to use shared ones. The Kayaks on the beach were fun too, only criticism was the day went too quick. We were blessed with some cloudy skies but make sure you wear sun tops and top up on sun cream, though plenty of shade on the boat. Thankyou so much for a memorable day.

Not worth it at all. At first you are going to be picked up by bus to travel 1 hour to port Orzola (fair enough) and if you are staying at Playa Blanca better consider to go to Papagayo Beach (even by taxi) as this will make for you the same day out but much cheaper than going on this catamaran, which sail in total for 40 minutes. When you get to Port Orzola will be of around 11am and you will have to wait half hour for ferry to cross to La Graciosa island. Ferry crossing takes 30 minutes. When on La Graciosa you will go to catamaran at local marine and board up. They will welcome you with bit of a bubbly in a paper cup and give you some canapés. Then off you to "sail" 🤣🤣😂 20-25 minutes to nearest local beach next to a yellow volcano where they anchor and let you swim or use kayaks for all most 3 hours (lunch in the meantime- simple but tasty). Well this is the end of the excursion as you will sail back 20 minutes to marina from where you arrived. After that you have 30 minutes to walk around before ferry will take you back to port Orzola on Lanzarote, ferry is crossing again 30 minutes. You back to Lanzarote and bus will take you to your hotel in ie. Playa blanca.
All excursion at this price is a sort of joke as is boring and not offering anything alike you can experience when on Tenerife or Gran Canaria. If I add up all "sailing" 🤣 with ferry crossing this will make 1 hour and 40 minutes maximum. So summarising if you like to save some money then better go to local beach where you'll find kayaks as well. I am sorry but won't recommend this to anyone unfortunately as is waste of time and money.

Disappointing, we spent most of the day travelling, one hour on bus from Porto de Carmen boat didn’t go to 11.30, on boat for 1/2 hour then changed to catamaran for another 1/2 hour. Spent about an hour on island then back on boat for lunch at 2 . Lunch- pasta n sauce, piece of bread n banana. Hung about for an hour, quite a strong breeze, we were freezing, should have been advised to bring coat or warm clothes. More boat, wandered around village for 1/2 hour, then back on other boat, then hour bus journey back. Four of us, expensive waste of a day.

Pros
Transfer from resort included
Ferry from lanzarote to La Graciosa included
Able to book gluten free food in advance with tour company
Friendly crew
Large clean boat
Opportunity to use kayaks and swim from boat
Welcome snack, plus pasta and salad lunch. Gluten free lunch of chicken, potato and salad provided as requested at booking .
Welcome drink of bubbly, soft drinks beer and wine included.

Cons
Transfer was around 30 mins late (our reason for 4 stars and not 5)
From our pick up took over 1 hour to reach ferry from Puerto del Carmen due to further pick ups in Arrecife and Costa Teguise
Would be better on a warmer day (can be very windy so take a fleece)

The crew was very kind and joyful and the surroundings were beautiful. However I would have liked to be sailing more than ca. 25 minutes.
Your ferry from Orzola to La Graciosa departs at about 11:40, and the catamaran from La Graciosa sails to a bay were you lay for about 2 hours to swim or to go to the beach. After that it goes back (by motor) to the harbour of La Gracioca and you'll arrive there at about 16h, and then you can take the ferry back to Orzola on Lanzarote. The ferry is included in the price.

A perfect day out. Pick up at hotel, travel to ferry port, ferry over to island and then catamaran trip along coastline.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. Amenities onboard were clean. Drinks on the catamaran we’re plentiful, stopped for swim and kayak, well organized. Lunch on the catamaran was simple but tasty and filling enough for such a trip.
Time on the island for coffee, a look around the port and an ice cream before getting back on ferry.

My daughter wanted to do a catamaran trip on our holiday in Lanzarote last week, my husband and i had gone on one in Barbados a number of years ago and had always raved about it. We picked this particular tour as it was TripAdvisor recommended.
The day was very overcast and windy but that didn't bother us, as we're used to that being from Ireland. The trip was expensive for my husband, 16 year old daughter and myself and it was a complete waste of money.
Firstly the bus wasn't air conditioned and then we went on a ferry to the island and then on to the catamaran and sailed out to what was supposed to be these fantastic beaches that were full of rocks and far from crystal clear. We were dropped off on shore where we were told the sea was 25 degrees (more like 5 degrees) with a box of goggles, snorkels and 4 kayak and left there for 2 hours. After that we were treated to cold pasta, cold sauce with shredded lettuce with bread and a banana. We tried to make the most of it for our daughter but it was a disaster. One family even got off the catamaran and would not get back on it again, they were so disappointed. The trip was very amateurish to say the least.
We were so disappointed with the day, on our previous catamaran experience (Not with this company) we dived off the Catamaran in crystal blue waters where there was something to see while snorkeling and showed what to do and how to do it and were treated to fresh fish and a selection of salads.

We complained the following day to the rep that sold us the trip and asked for our money back but the company refused. It is completely over rated and a TOTAL waste of money.
Try the one on the south of the island it can't be any worse.

Beautiful island, long sandy beaches and rock pools. Several little bars and a beach next to the ferry port. It's where the locals go to relax, only 700 people live there. Ferry trip is nice too, would go again.
