Booked this last minute and I am so glad I did as it was really enjoyable. We had the delightful Sergio as our tour guide who was so engaging with the group and made it so interesting for us all. The price we paid was very reasonable and I recommend it to everyone, young or old. Sergio's English was excellent so there was no problem understanding him. When I visit Seville again I will definitely book another tour with Pancho tours and hopefully Sergio.

We booked the walking tour not really knowing what to expect. We had Rafa as our guide who was very knowledgeable and made the tour enjoyable. He gave us insight into small historical details which we would have otherwise missed.
Would definitely recommend this tour.

Unfortunately, I'd have to give this tour a low rating because it was full of rhetoric, what was, and very few historical significant details. Our tour guide was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, but the history of Jews in Spain is rich, and I just didn't get that in Seville. Sorry!

The beauty of the historical buildings and a few of the stories. However there is really very little left of any Jewish character or signs of Jewish life there so the tour was more about historical Spanish figures, painters, writers and opera references to Seville (Carmen, Barber of Seville, Don Giovanni). Other than a couple of anecdotes related to how the Jewish people suffered under the Spanish Inquisition, there was little to connect this tour to Jewish content.

Thank you very much for your opinion, we appreciate your summary, and we are sorry for not being able to have dramatic stories as in other places in Europe related to the Jewish people, but in Spain and specifically in Seville, the Jewish people brought a lot of patrimonial and cultural richness in coexistence with the different cultures that settled in Spain throughout its history. That is the true wealth of Seville. We are sorry that you did not value the quality of our Tour despite the fact that our story is in line with our history.

We have just finished this tour this evening with an Italian girl Lara, and I have to say was very disappointed, and felt it a complete waste of time and money.
Lara was clearly a lovely girl but as a tour guide her pronunciation in English is difficult and hard to understand and her knowledge of Jews and Judaism in the area is clearly very limited, We went on this tour as 2 Jews from London and the amount of information and references to Judaism was 5%. Whilst this might be the intention it is not made clear when booking and misrepresents the content of the tour; notwithstanding much of the remainder of the tour was plain boring and uninteresting, looking at peoples private gardens and alleyways – not impressed.
I should also say yesterday we had an amazing Free Seville Tour with Raoul which we would highly recommend as he knows his stuff, has great personality and humour and speaks great English!!!! He deserved a big tip

Hi Paul,
I am so sorry to read that, we sincerely apologize for this. I think it is a misunderstanding. It would have been better to have taken a special tailormade tour to explore the depths of the Jewish theme if you was very interested and wanted special knowledge about that.

It was our 2nd tour guide with Sergio. The first was the major highlights of Sevilla and the Jewish quarter. Sergio Was amazing, contrôles the material and the historical story. He did it in a very interesting way mixed with good humor. Our 2 sons were really exited and were highly involved in the tour. Well done Sergio.

When I booked this tour, I was hoping to see evidence of the Jewish community that was driven out by the Inquisition. That evidence, however, is gone. Unless the tour skipped something (which would be odd), there are literally zero landmarks left of the Jewish residents. So, that was disappointing. The history of the city and country's relationship with its Jewish inhabitants was interesting to hear more about during the tour, however, and I appreciated some of the frankness of the guide (calling it out as pure racism). I suppose I was, based on the description, expecting a bit more in the way of landmarks (former synagogues, for instance) that spoke of the area's Jewish history.

This should be in.your ticket confirmation email under departure details but when I had my tour last month departure was the fountain on plaza del virgen Los Reyes which is right next to the Cathedral . Guides where orange teeshirts. Hope this helps 😀
