We really enjoyed this tour. Mery was a very nice guide. Very engaging, she took us to a few good breweries and shared some information with us. Very glad that we did this at the beginning of our visit. It gave us the opportunity to understand a little of the city and to experience it as locals.

This was a fantastic tour. Manni was absolutely incredible - very funny, personable, knowledgable. He brought us to all the best areas of the markets we visited and showed us many sites and shared some great stories along the way. We got lucky that it was a very small group to begin with and then 2 didn't show so it was just myself and one other person on the tour meaning the guide was able to show us some more historical stuff that we were interested in (although I was interested in anything he wanted to share). I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun tour with some drinks along the way (alcoholic and non), funny and interesting stories, and a great guide

I did not do a tour. We went to the Christmas Markets on our own. We parked by the Cathedral and walked all over. It is very beautiful and easy to get around.

Our tour guide Kim was very informative and fun. She knew a great deal of the history and culture of her home city, which she made very interesting. The brewery and markets were good too but made better with Kim’s tour.

Fabulous! Christmas trees, lights and delicious food everywhere and wonderful stalls. Sooooo christmassy. There is an ice skating rink too.

A must do when visiting Cologne. Our guide, Kim, was friendly , enthusiastic and informative not just about Kolsch but also history and local customs. She showed us places we wouldn’t have found ourselves. Highly recommend.

Such a good atmosphere here. Felt safe the whole time we were here. Fantastic time at the markets. They were easy enough to find and had SO much to offer! I’m different shops and activities! Fantastic will definitely be back.

We did a private tour with Chris while in Köln on a Viking river cruise. We had varying interest levels/ ages and everyone really enjoyed it Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the tales, beer information & beer history shared by Chris. He gave us insights into the German culture, Kölsch beer, and history of each brauhaus. He lead us places we would not have found on our own and was flexible in settling up with the biers after the tour so we all didn’t have to try and pay at each brauhaus. Very fun- we all enjoyed our time.

My husband and I booked this tour last minute and ended up as the only people on the tour. We appreciated that the tour still went ahead, and we were very lucky to have Elisa as our guide. She was super friendly and outgoing and we learned a lot from her, not only about Kölsch beer but about living in Cologne in general. She was very engaging and kept up a good pace while not making us feel rushed. We visited Brauhaus that we wouldn’t have found on our own, and thought they were all special and unique in their own way. Thanks to Elisa for a fun evening, and best of luck to you!

The Kölsch tour was fantastic. We were travelling as a family of 5 including a 13 year old (who was dragged along). This was the only tour I could find that catered for under 18 year olds. With many of the other tours you had to pay for Kölsch for every person so the flexibility of the Kölsch crew was perfect for us. Rebeka was a fantastic guide, super friendly and super knowledgeable. We learned so much about the overall Cologne culture and not just about the beer. The Brauhauses we visited were all amazing as was the Kölsch. I highly recommend this tour 10/10!

The tour was a great way to see the city, discover hidden gems, drink great beer and learn about the history behind the melting pot that is Cologne. Manni was our guide and was exceptionally knowledgeable, read the group perfectly and even gave us a rendition of traditional carnival songs. A word of warning though, don’t ever challenge him to a drinking competition!

Great tour and great guide. Highly recommend. This tour was better than most everything we took as part of our Viking River cruise which all had too many people and not nearly as personal.

Kim was an AMAZING guide! It was the best night in Cologne; we made new friends, had awesome beer, and saw some great beer houses. Highly recommend this!!!!! :)
