The number of tickets sold is 10 times the number of places available in the rides. The whole park is a huge waiting line! The average waiting time for each ride is more than 1 hour, for rides of 2-5 minutes max. Since they sell so many tickets and everywhere is packed with people, they also invented the skip the row additional payment, do you might sit in line for a ride for which the shown waiting time was 55 minutes, let’s say, and you end up waiting 1,5 hours! All this is complete rubbish. We paid more than 500 euros for one day and we just managed to get in a few rides, we stayed in lines for more than half of the day, we ate rubbish and overpriced food, all in all a very costly and disappointing experience, especially for the kids. Their only purpose is to make money, without carrying at all about the visitors! For is it’s the first and last time we go there!

With an adult pass costing around Eur50 and a child's pass less that that, this has to be one of the best value days out in Europe. We had an amazing time - the Parade of the Stars is a real spectacle, the rides generally are excellent and while the queues are far from ideal, with good planning and spending a little amount more, you can avoid the worst of them. Five tips:

1. Arrive early - while it said it opened at 9.30 we arrived earlier and it was open. You can also book the breakfast with characters which gets you in for 8.15. You can take the train to the back of the park straight away and work forward to avoid the rush.

2. Bring your own food & water - while we say 'No picnic' signs everyone seemed to bring their own water, sandwiches etc. You'll save a fortune if you do - the food is expensive and generally is junk.

3. Stay for the Parade of the Stars. Check the timetable but the day we were there is was at 5.30pm - it starts at the right of Snow White's Castle down Main Street, Get there about a half and hour beforehand to get a good spot right on the kerb, then sit back and enjoy.

4. Skip the odd queue - to skip a queue can cost as little as Eur5 - it's worth it, especially when they queues are at their worst which seemed to be after lunchtime.

5. USE THE APP - it gives you up-to-date queue times for rides across the park which means you can really get the most from your visit. Also allows you to take breaks, which are important.

Disney=extremely long waiting lines for 1min and a few seconds of the actual climax of the ride. But be prepared as the rides and really not exciting at all, it takes a get seconds for dumbo to be up in the air and down to come to a complete stop. So a total of 1min30 comprises the beginning and stop of movement, after waiting for so long is really a let down experience. You miss a lot of the park as you are stuck in lines, your child can't even use the toilet being there for so long as you will loose your place. They have lots of characters but not a single one comes to assim children with the waiting times, or put some screens along the line. The best system would be a booking place and free you up to explore the park and actually enjoy it rather than just move from one line to the other. The app doesn't make ur life that much easier as it is hard to find your location and where to follow due to the lack of post signs with directions.

There are no facilities to warm up food even for babies (at least we didn't find them).

The toilets are not as clean as expected due to the high number of people.

You are treated as cattle or even a part in a factory rather than a person who seeks to have a lifetime experience. Staff is drained and tired and they just want you to move on as there as more hundreds of people after you to go on that ride.

If you do not intend to go on any ride just stroll and shop then this is a perfect park. For rides is an absolute no no.
Also they have no half a day ticket, as the 1st day was a disappointment we only wanted to return for the parade and the night lights show, but for 105€ considering it was 17h already we found it extremely overpriced and unfair. So ticket options should be more versatile.

I really wanted to like Disneyland but it was disappointing. Went with my husband and 3 daughters 8 -12. We had our mouse ears and t-shirts on and were excited when Minnie pointed us out from the balcony on Main Street. That was at 9:30am on the first day and it was the only “magical” thing that happened. Disneyland is about queuing and spending. Many of the rides had queues of 100minutes (on three occasions the ride broke down while we were in the queue!!). You can pay 13€ to skip the queue but for a family of 5 that is out of the question. If you don’t reserve the very expensive character restaurants your choice is limited to junk food…..and again you have to queue for ever. We queued for over 30 minutes to get a candy floss! Shops selling Disney merchandise are everywhere and you see frazzled parents buying bags and bags of plastic junk to appease their frustrated kids. There are no characters walking about the park; again you need to queue for a long time to meet them (we didn’t bother but the queues for Mickey and the princesses where over an hour). Most of the rides are standard fairground attractions with only a couple of exceptions (the Twighlight Zone Tower is excellent and the employees on that ride were the best - on most of the other rides the employees didn’t make much effort to characterise). I think Disneyland is a self fulfilling prophecy:- no one wants to spend that kind of money taking their family to admit afterwards that its not really all that good. So everyone convinces themselves they had a great time and posts photos on social media so the next poor sod feels that he has to use his anual saving to take the family to the most magical place on earth!!!

Very disappointed to come all this way and not be able to enjoy the birthday experience of a simple button that alerts cast members to say happy birthday as you walk by. Multiple rides close early and randomly starting late afternoon until only a few rides are left, so do not wait to come back later because it may not be open. The Star Wars simulation ride is only in French without closed captions but still fun. The park is clean. Very few characters around the park. The original Disneyland is far better. My hope was to at least see different, more localized attractions but the ones that were different were simpler walk through rather than actual rides. Even the main train was open but most stations were closed so it was a trip around the park only. I do want to say it was beautiful at how clean and polished everything looked.

After a buildup of a promising day out with our granddaughter , with great excitement of booking tickets, planning , travelling and coordinating a potential dream day -

👎 turned into a huge disappointment 👎

The beautiful flowers as you walk up to Disneyland - and carefully manicured gardens - are the last time we felt any joy about this experience

The epitome of the worst kind of exploitation - with no recourse for refunds - for a substandard embarrassing experience

It’s not in the spirit of children’s entertainment . And if anything, Will teach kids everything about the worst parts of commercialism .

There were unreasonably long queues to get into Disneyland - although we had bought tickets to so called jump the queue .

The parade was beyond pathetic.

I have seen better at my childrens school carnival.

The queues for any rides and attractions were crazy! They were an insult to the children and adults who had to wait an impossibly long time to get into any attraction or ride - making it prohibitive .

My grandchild was so looking forward to watch the Frozen Show - Eliza and Anna - and had to wait an hour and a half in a queue - with no food, water , entertainment on offer while waiting - while being herded from one waiting area to another -

The Frozen Show - which lasted 15 minutes was amateurish at best!

In my view, it is an unreasonable expectation for a child to have to wait so long . There was no entertainment while waiting - and the planning was obviously done by people who had no idea about young children

It showed a complete lack of consideration care and empathy for the targeted customer and their carers.

Food - there was no healthy option - and prices exorbitant for processed garbage !!

The main focus of the park was to extract as much dollars for poor quality, overpriced mass produced , Environmentally unfriendly rubbish .

In my view , Walt Disney would be turning in his grave to see such a travesty .

This park is one of the worst to visit if you have Asthma. Is not a smoke free park. Even though there are assigned smoking areas, people still smokes around children. Staff does not say anything. Will not go back! People and staff have no respect for those of us who have lung issues.

Worst experience. Very unfriendly staff. Booked one park and a show to find out that it was in another park and it was not mentioned.

We had a carry on bag that contained food and diapers for our baby, but they refused to enter, and kept getting us out of the park till we put the bag in a locker and kept holding everything in a bag!

Sent them email asking for refund, for the show tickets and they replied that they can do nothing. Really worst experience

The best theme park we've been to. They have put so much attention to detail to complete your experience in every way.
First of all, it's better to but tickets online before you come. There could be long queues and also some days could get sold out. Come early. Park opens at 9.30AM. Also plan your visit before you come so that you can cover mostly everything you wanted to cover. Better to bring snacks from outside, it's too pricy inside the park and also again long queues at the cafes.
Most preferred method to arrive by train. It's just 100m walk to park from station. Make sure you buy the return ticket in just as you arrived because closer to the closing time there can be very long queues to buy tickets. Last train to Paris leaves around 12AM. So plan your return accordingly.
Do not miss the Disney parade. It happens everyday at 5.30PM and its really magical. And the light show at the closing time. It was a perfect end to the day. Also I recommend you to use the Disneland app so that you can get updates about ride waiting times, events schedule... etc.
We spent only one day here and feels like that is enough. If you plan early you can have a good time here.
There is free WiFi all over the park. Toilet facilities are very good. Restaurants and cafes can be found every nook and corner. Staff is very friendly. They do speak English. So don't hesitate to talk to them and clarify any issues you might have.

We visited today with a one day ticket for Disneyland park (didn’t bother with the studios). One thing I cannot stress enough is how disabled friendly DLP are. We go to theme parks regularly and I have never experienced anything like this. From getting into the park, to picking up our priority pass to the friendly staff and how quickly we could get onto every ride, it was amazing and made our day truly magical and unforgettable.
Staff were all so friendly and engaging, and also super efficient at work. I was very impressed.
The park is great and the rides overall are good. I think they could do with building more rides for older children/adults.
Hyperspace mountain is however the best ride I have ever been on, we loved it so much we went on it six times.

We brought our own food and drink, I never understand people complaining about it being expensive, we didn’t spend any money as we had a packed lunch and refillable water bottles.

Now to the somewhat negative: toilets and rides weren’t signposted very well.
We were obviously lucky to have a priority pass and had no wait on rides, however the park was packed with long queue times so I can imagine if you come here as a family and pay £400 for tickets you may not feel you get your money’s worth.
