Our tour group was incredibly intimate (one other person including myself and my husband) so we were able to ask every single question we could think of and get an in depth answer. Lucien was our guide for our tour of the Louvre this morning. He was waiting for us when we arrived 15 minutes before our booked tour time and quickly introduced himself and began our tour. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, informative, and accommodating. We were a family of 4 (2 teens) and were all captivated by Lucien as he maneuvered us through the museum hitting the highlights (including Nike, Aphrodite, Mona Lisa, and many more) and gave incredible details and histories of the museum, artists, sculpture/painting techniques used. We were stunned that 2.5 hours went by so quickly…we would’ve happily listened to Lucien all day! We could not give a higher recommendation for this tour and specifically Lucien. He’s an absolutely incredible guide. Thank you for making our tour to the Louvre unforgettable!

The Loovre is massive and it’s easy to not see everything. However, this experience not only ensures that you see some of the important artwork, it also gives you an special small group experience. Daniel was our tour guide and he was amazing. He provided a personal touch, which was in addition to background on the Loovre and artwork. He has a structured route and seamlessly weaves you through the crowd, while making it a magical experience. He answers questions, inserts humor, and was extremely pleasant. The tour also ended and we had the option of exploring independently. I highly recommend this experience and I would definitely consider doing it again on a future trip (especially if I brought someone who hadn’t yet been to the Loovre. Thanks again Daniel!!

Our tour guide Daniel was very informative and has a great sense of humor! My family and I had an amazing experience at the Louvre we otherwise wouldn’t have had without Babylon and its amazing guide. Skipping the lines was a bonus. Thank you, Daniel, for making our first trip to the Louvre a memorable one! I can’t wait to be back! If you only have a few hours to spend in the museum, I highly recommend going with a tour guide. Well worth it!

This was our first visit to the Louvre, and we wanted to use the tour as a way to get a solid acquaintance with such an impressive and potentially overwhelming museum. My husband and I joined a family of four (adults & two teens) with our guide, Mikaila, who was very personable and knowledgeable—sharing much background on the pieces she shared with us. Among other pieces, we saw the sculpture “Winged Victory” (my favorite), Napoleon’s Wedding, the Mona Lisa, etc. After the tour, my husband and I had lunch at the cafe, and then we went on to explore the rest of the museum ourselves in the afternoon…However, after having such an amazing guided tour, seeing the rest of it by ourselves felt kind of “flat.” Don’t get me wrong—the museum is full of terrific exhibits! It’s just that if money were no object, I would book private tours with multiple experts to conduct multiple tours over a couple days!! [That’s how good they are!]

Our tour guide, Daniel, was a great storyteller and made the tour fun and interesting! I highly recommend joining this tour, otherwise it will be difficult to navigate Louvre on your own. With a tour guide like Daniel you can see the highlights while at the same time have fun and learn the history of the paintings/sculptures. And the greatest thing too is you literally skip the line and save time! Great tour!

We were 4 Norwegian girls who had a private guided tour through babylon tours on friday 15th october 2021. We had a punctual, incredibly fun, friendly knowledgable guide, named Kotryna. We highly recommend anyone booking through this agency to ask for Kotryna. She has so many fun stories to share, and was funny and so very kind. we had an incredible amazing experience! Thank you so much for giving us so much knowledge on art history, and we loved how you connecting information you explained early on the tour for example "mummy brown" to other artwork we passed by during our tour ;) such a wonderful guide who also helped us with directions after the tour ;) merci beacoup Kotryna! ;)

Our guide Florence is very knowledgeable about the history and story behind the master pieces and sculptures in the museum. The small private tour of 8 or less makes a huge difference in terms of legitimately cutting through the security check and bathroom lines. We highly recommend it even though it is a bit pricy but well worthwhile for the educational purposes.

This was a great tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and she managed the group well. We learned a lot, and we were well-equipped to continue to explore on our own. The Louvre is very congested, so it was well worth the money to have such a small group.

Our guide was Anatole and he was fabulous! The tour is about 2 1/2 hours and is a highlight tour of the most famous pieces which are all must see exhibits. Anatole was lively and precise with very valid and interesting information. He was very conversational and humorous making the tour lots of fun and easy to follow. His English was perfect and simple to understand with no issues. He’s a former professor and artist so he is well studied on all of the art and history of the Louvre. The give a hearing device and he’s mic’d , so it’s easy to hear and follow along since the museum gets crowded and you can quickly fall out of earshot of your guide. Overall this was a fantastic tour which I highly recommend. I’d confidently recommend Anatole as your guide as he will be sure to provide significant value for your spend.

On a prior trip to the Louvre without a tour, it was overwhelming and not satisfying. This time we took this tour and our guide focused us on a few fascinating aspects of the Louvre and its treasures. He provided incites and history that transformed our visit to one of awe and fascination and a much greater appreciation of the Louvre. We are learning that to really appreciate and thus enjoy an experience at such a fabulous museum, we need to use tours with guides like this.
