What to expect
Meet your guide and small group of up to 8 near Place des Quinconces in central Bordeaux. Traveling aboard an air-conditioned minibus, set out on the scenic drive into the heart of Bordeaux. The first stop is at a wine chateau in the Saint-Emilion region. Tour the winery, with views of the vineyards, to gain insight into winemaking. Learn about terroir, and discover Bordeaux varietals during a tasting. After a second winery visit and tasting, continue to the medieval village of Saint-Emilion. Stroll the cobbled lanes on a walking tour, before enjoying free time to browse the shops and purchase lunch at a local restaurant (own expense). Your final stop is at a Grand Cru Classé chateau in neighboring Pomerol appellation. Peek into wine cellars while your guide explains the complex system of French wine labelling and classification and you sample wines. Your tour ends at the Bordeaux departure point.

Amazing experience
We had an amazing time with Angie. She was super knowledgeable and chatty and helped explain there was to know about bordeaux wines! The vineyards we went to were amazing as well. Plenty of wine tastings and a lovely lunch in the small beautiful village of saint emilion ! Will definitely recommend this to anyone !

Incredible guided tour of St Emilion with beautiful views and great wine!
I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to get out of Bordeaux and explore the vineyards for the day! Comfortable combi with a very informative and knowledgeable driver Cam, who was from the area! Water was provided and we had great tastings at all the locations, including time to find a bite to eat in town. Would recommend potentially booking at one of the restaurants during peak season.

Brilliant gentle funny guide with a deep understanding of wine and wine history

Our guide Charles pick us up in front of tourist office of Bordeaux and drove us 40 minutes to the first Chateaux while he was given us a quick sightseeing tour through bordeaux. Arriving at the first chateaux it was closed, Charles react in a super relaxed way, told us everything about that chateaux and took us to a new one.
In total we had a perfect day with 3 Chateaux, a tour through Saint Emilion and a very nice international group.

Best way to see St Emilion and sample great wines and food.
Great day out touring the St Emilio region. Fabulous tour guide with great knowledge of this region and all of Bordeaux area. Excellent and generous lunch was included. Very good value and lovely wineries visited.

A great wine tour in France!
Emily was a wonderful guide. The three tastings were informative (and delicious!) and we learned a great deal about the region. It was the perfect way to enjoy St Émilion — recommended!

Great guide, great wines!
A very good excursion. Julie was very personable and knowledgable. The 3 vineyards we visited all offered something different to make it a well-rounded experience of Saint-Emilion wines. I would say it was slightly on the expensive side but a memorable trip regardless.

Fantastic excursion with lots to see and do!

Overall we had a fantastic time with Karim (our guide) he was so knowledgeable of wine and really went the extra mile with educating us. Favorite part of the day was walking around St. Emilion, only wish we had just a tad bit more time during this part. But everything was just perfect, so happy to have chosen this excursion.
