We decided to visit Waterford on our own when visiting on a cruise ship and were fortunate that there were busses available to get to and from Waterford (around 15 pounds pp rt). We purchased “Skip the Line: Waterford Treasures Medieval Museum Admission Tickets” and the “Epic Tour of the Viking Triangle tickets” online prior to going on the cruise and it worked out great. Jamie gave us a tour of the Viking Triangle and Liam gave us a tour of the museum. Both were excellent and gave you a good understanding of the history of the town and Ireland. Waterford was a beautiful town to visit and a must see!

This tour was very informative and our guide was wonderful. She was engaging and we could tell how passionate she was about the history of the city. Waterford was a beautiful place. Before booking this tour on this website….I would suggest going to the Medieval Museum and buying the ticket that grants you access into the four museums they have nearby as well as a spot on this tour (if I’m not mistaken). 10/10 would recommend :)

Our guide turned us over to Fiona, with Epic Tour of the Viking Triangle. Waterford Crystal moved out of Waterford in 2009. Showed us the canon ball damage to the round tower by Oliver Cromwell. Talked about the Friary from 1241 and the carved log, which was only recently completed. Talked about the architect who designed the 3rd Catholic Cathedral to occupy the current site from 1775, the original church having
been build 1000 years ago. She introduced us to Sean Egan who is a glass sculpture with Glass Art at Bishops Palace. He did a tribute to the 911 firefighters.

It was a very good introduction to Waterford. Our guide Fiona was very knowledgeable and very warm and it was Fascinating to find out the beginnings of this lovely charming town.
We were then able to look round the bishops Palace which has a fantastic 3-D visual experience to tell you the story of the town so I would recommend this experience highly

I was part of a large group of family and friends from the USA who took this Epic Tour of the Viking Triangle. The tour was wonderful and very informative. It lasted about an hour, which was the perfect length for us. The guide has an Irish name, of which I neglected to ask the spelling, but he was wearing a Boston Red Sox baseball cap! He is short in stature but not short on information or wit. My apologies for not getting his name, but we very much enjoyed our experience and all the history he imparted to us.

This was a great tour. The guide was engaging and very knowledgeable. A lovely walk around the historic triangle of Waterford. Be sure to look across the street from the Waterford Crystal factory to the Waterford Crystal Museum. The meeting place for the tour is at the top of the stairs of the museum.

This 45 minute tour is a great introduction to Waterford's history and the key Viking Triangle. Our tour guide Clare was wonderful - knowledgeable, friendly and full of fun facts and anecdotes. It was just right in terms of time and content.

I would highly recommend the Epic tour. We were a small wedding party group. Our wedding plans changed due to Covid 19. We had originally planned to celebrate on the back of the spraoi weekend in my home town of Waterford. My dad suggested this tour. I was genuinely surprised at how much I enjoyed the tour and how much I learned in a fun way about my home town! Even my dad,a volunteer on the Viking triangle picked up some new info from our wonderful guide Áine.

Lucky us to have knowledgeable Fiona as our private guide. The mayor’s wine cellar, the jaw-dropping vestments discovered 120 years after they were lost - still in mint condition, the medieval and Viking history. Highly recommend this tour.

Our family will be visiting Waterford on June 23rd. We are a group of 14, do you have availability in the mid morning? Thanks
Departure Point is explained as "Waterford, Waterford, County Waterford" and Return Details as "Returns to original departure point", but where EXACTLY do we meet? At one of the museums? Would love to purchase tickets to use in July, but am not willing when given such a vague address to turn up to.
