      Very accommodating private tour!
Caleb was so lovely and really accommodated my elderly grandmother. He tailored the tour exactly to her pace and needs whilst still managing to give us a great overview of Limerick. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and we had great chats! I would definitely book again next time I visit.

Recommend, especially if you have read Frank McCord’s book about life in 30’s thru 50’s in and around Limerick+
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and always had some piece of information to tell about the characters in the book, but also about the history surrounding the area as well. All questions were answered. Nice easy walk walk. This young man will make an outstanding hospitality host!

One of the highlights of our trip to Ireland
Cayleb was a wonderful tour guide. He relayed interesting stories about Frank McCourt and the city of Limerick. It was informative and entertaining. Cayleb was a great conversationalist and was patient in answering all of our questions. Even after the official tour was over, he was kind enough to walk us to a location that helped us resolve an internet access issue with my cell phone. An overall lovely experience.

      Great Day in Limerick
Katelyn O’Dea was our tour guide for a marvelous 2 and a half hours in Limerick. Not only did she make Frank McCourt’s book come alive, her enthusiasm for Limerick and it’s history was contagious. She’s amazing and her tour was insightful. You’ll be wise to request her when you book this tour. The Peoples Museum on Pery Square houses a few of the Angela’s Ashes memorabilia and is worth a peek.

      Cracking Tour in Limerick
5/5 - our guide Damien was fantastic. Really tried hard to ensure we had a great experience. Friendly and very knowledgeable about his city.

This seems like a potential scam.
I booked this tour two months before our arrival in Ireland. As the trip grew closer, I waited on a contact from the tour to specify a time but never received any communication. The day before the tour, I called the listed number and a woman answered the phone who sounded flustered and confused about my questions. She said she had to confirm “something” and would call me back with a time. I never heard back from her. I even messaged her later on trip advisor and never received an answer. When I booked the tour, the previous 1 Star review wasn’t available. Now seeing their story in combination with our experience, I am starting to think this listing is a SCAM. I would advise to NOT book this tour.

Sad that tour person didn’t cancel. We spent $18 Euro to get a bus from Adare to take this tour. Want $ back plus $18
We waited 45 minutes (we were there 30 minutes before tour time) and no one showed. Called contact number and got answering machine. Left message to call us and left tour ref no. No call.

      Would recommend it to anyone
Did a walking tour last Sunday. The guide was great. He knew a great amount about the city and you could tell he had a passion for Limerick which was very good to see.

Highly recommend this walking tour. Our guide Tadhg was considerate, enthusiastic and a mine of information. Three hours on a very hot sunny day flew by as we learned about the fascinating history of Limerick city and Ireland. A definite if on holidays.

Myself and my 2 sisters were in Limerick for the weekend. Our guide, a local enthusiastic historian, stepped in at the last minute to give our tour. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The tour was 2.5 hours and covered a wide area, but all around the city centre. Perfect for giving us our bearings around the city. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Katelyn’s knowledge of the city is very good and delivered with a wry sense of humour. My son and I were lucky to have the tour to ourselves and we thoroughly enjoyed the morning walk on a quiet Sunday.
We would definitely recommend this as a way to learn about the city and the numerous historical points that you’d otherwise walk right by…you might also learn a conspiracy theory or two 😊

We had a great tour with Tadgh Ó Brien. Besides a great tour through the city we learnt a lot about it's history and the history of ireland in general.
Also we got a lot of tips for great restaurants, pubs and other things to do and visit while in Limerick, so it might be a good starting point when you are in the city for a couple of days.
The tour was a bit over 2 hours of walking which was a great lenght for us.

This tour is a very good way to see and learn the history of Limerick and the connection into the history of Ireland. Katelyn was personable, knowledge, and engaging. She was willing to speak through broader questions that apply to the history and impacts of city layout, building, and other structural elements of the three towns.

Outstanding tour led by a true Limerick expert! Didn't know how little I knew about Ireland and Limerick until finishing this walking tour. It covers EVERYTHING and the tour guide even brought his son who was very charming and patient. Went with my teenage son who went away looking for more books and documentaries about Ireland based on what we learned on this tour. Highly recommended!

The walking tour was really interesting and full of information about so many places of interest in Limerick, where we had not been before our visit.
The guide, whose name I can not recall, unfortunately, was a fund of loads of information and he was obviously someone who was really full of knowledge in the city - all told to us from his memory! Can thoroughly recommend the tour. Malcolm & Sue.

We picked and booked for a morning that turned out to be very rainy (even by west of Ireland standards)!
Met the guide, Tadhg, outside the gallery. Others booked on failed to show, probably because of the rain. Very informative tour, and Tadhg was happy to talk about history at our rate. Very detailed. I'm sure we ran quite a bit over time.
Limerick's an interesting place. It's a city, with industry and jobs, so it's less touristed than others (like Galway and Killarney). It's a real city, and this tour really helps to really appreciate it.
    Thank you.

I booked this tour for 23 April 2022. I drove over 150km to get there. Arrived at meeting place to find no one there. Rang both numbers twice on the booking confirmation email. After 20 minutes I got someone on the phone who apologised and said the tour was cancelled because the guide had covid. I opted for a refund. To date, I have not received any communication from this company. Rang again today about refund. Spoke with pleasant girl who again apologised and said her colleague who dealt with refunds would call be back. Still nothing. Couldn't possibly recommend this to anyone. Find someone else.

Hi Jacqueline. All guides must take a covid antigen test every morning, as we have tourists who are flying home who must still test negative or may not be allowed travel. This is a serious issue for international travellers & a major issue for us right now as it can still cause a cancellations to our tours. It would be financially better & legal to just stop testing guides but we are committed to protecting our guests under our commitment to Fáilte Ireland's covid guidelines until at least when travellers no longer require tests at the airport. I believe that will be very soon. I sincerely apologise for this & understand your frustration. Your refund has been processed which takes a couple of days & should be with you already. As a gesture of goodwill I would like to offer you & a friend a tour of Limerick on ether our 10am or 2pm tour on us! I hope your experience didn't take from your overall holiday in Limerick & look forward to welcoming you back this summer! Sincerely Amy

Tadhg was very informative and explained aspects of history, 1690s politics in particular, in ways I hadn't appreciated before. My teenage children (18, 15, 13) all got a lot out of it and really liked Tadhg. The tour comprised of 2 hours of walking, so we were all a little tired at the end. In fairness, the usual tour includes a stop-off in a coffee-shop to replenish energy, but during Covid-19 understandably this aspect has had to be cut.
