About the operator
- Keith101300Excellent Ring of Kerry tripGreat trip. The drivers were knowledgeable and funny. Did the horse drawn carriage thru Killarney National Park. Saw Dingle Bay, Waterville, Sneem, Lady's View and Inch Beach. Finished out with a rather large waterfall.
- Andrea L00Nice experience overall, weather is extremely criticalThe trip itself is good. The driver and guide is amazing! Keep in mind that the cliffs are often covered by clouds/fog and that will be the main activity during the trip. So there is a possibility that you'll see nothing. If you have the chance, join the boat trip, very recommended.
- 677marynak00Nice experience, but not enough time on the cliffs of MoherThe driver-guide was friendly but more like a driver who just talked to the passengers. It's hard to call him a guide. He gave some factual information and tried to make us laugh, but he was not a guide in the complete sense. An hour and a half on the cliffs of Moher was not enough. Instead, we stopped to see Bunratty Castle, which had a paid entrance, and we only had 20 minutes, so no one went there. So we didn't see it. It's not clear why we had to go there. We were taken to a restaurant with a good atmosphere but nothing special in terms of food. All in all, a pleasant experience, but not enough time on the cliffs of Moher.
- 961deane00Poor, robbedBus was oversold so I'd to sit in the guide seat on the entry stairs, 20 minutes into the journey a passenger got up ran to the bus door and vomited all over me, when paddywagon were notified they offered me an already freely available 10% discount code off my next booking. When I told them I wanted a refund or similar tour for free they stopped replying. They do not care about their customers
- 718deer00Simply the best!We went on your tour yesterday with Jamie. The weather was beautiful and the drive was informative as we boarded from Killarney. Absolutely breathtaking views. So lucky to have the best weather. Jamie you are a star! All the way from Fiji.
- Gilbert Q00Required titled for reviewBoarded at Limerick. Good value from there. Don't know if I could do it from Cork. Loved the driver/tour guide. Wish he would have been a bit softer about the gratuity but it was fine all around.
- travelsnobFortMyers00It’s basically just transport to the CliffsI would consider this purely as transportation to the Cliffs, rather than a tour. The driver was pleasant and made a little commentary here and there, but the bus did not stop at Bunratty Castle or Doolin, as advertised on the website. The Burren was a 5 minute stretch of the legs. I believe they should update the website to indicate the lunch stop in Liscanoor and that Bunratty is only time allowing dependent on traffic. My bus was only 8 minutes late in Limerick and seats were whatever remained since the bus originated in Cork, where the majority boarded. The lunch stop is at a friendly cafeteria style cafe with minimal communal seating called John P. Holland Centre that was very crowded (2 tour buses) but apparently efficient. Instead, to avoid the crowd, I walked 3 minutes to a nearby pub that was able to get me in and out quickly with a delicious soup and chips. The port to charge your cell phone only worked on one side of the bus. Overall, if you need easy transportation to the cliffs, this is it, but if you have another less expensive or more personalized option, then skip the tour.
- Marie-Soleil T00Great experienceThe experience was very nice, it was a beautiful day and the cliffs are amazing to see. The guide was very nice. We also got to see the baby cliffs which is a spot with less tourists but still an amazing view.
- 315lilim00Great day trip to see IrelandThe cliffs of Moher offers some amazing sightseeing in Ireland. Located only a couple hours outside Limerick, it is a great day trip to explore the Irish country. Unfortunately the weather did not agree with us this day. It was extremely, rainy, windy, and cold, which made it difficult to enjoy the cliffs to their fullest. Definitely check the weather beforehand and try and go on a clear day. Otherwise, the day tour was a great way to see Ireland and enjoy Irish culture. The driver was very kind and gave us lots of background about the history and culture of Ireland.
- care_e1200Great tourThis was a great trip and an alternative to driving the narrow winding roads in Ireland. We were on a charter bus and John was a great guide. He shared history and points of interest along the way. It felt a little rushed as you only get so much time at each destination, but it was enough time to enjoy each place. Highly recommend this tour if you don't want to drive it yourself. Also, the Cliffs are amazing!
- k p00Poor serviceVery poor service. Paddywagon rescheduled my 21 June tour to 22 June. And never notified me the new date was also canceled. I waited for the tour bus for over an hour, trying to contact paddywagon tours via phone, email and Facebook with no response. Only when another tour bus arrived was I rudely told my ring of Kerry tour was canceled and to contact viator. No apology for the lack of contact, just she couldn’t help me because I booked through a third party. I went into the office and Kerrie at least offered to reschedule again and apologized that my tour was canceled because we were the only 2 scheduled. She did have my email and was about to respond. This was after 9 am my tour was scheduled for 8 am. Paddywagon should have a representative at the tour location when the tour is scheduled. 2 days prior we had the 9 am tour and it was 1 1/2 hours late and no representative was around. Multiple people were calling and emailing. TripAdvisor wasn’t much better. They still sent texts and emails with the original date. No way to to contact them or send a complaint. I will get a refund but I lost the entire day I had been looking forward to.
- Tobe95900Not Completely as AdvertisedDriver arrived over an hour late and only then were we informed the bus started with a pickup in Cork. Driver was nice but there was little commentary throughout the trip (about 75% of the time we rode in silence minus the occasional singing). All stops were cut down in time and there was no compensation for something that was entirely their fault. No stop at Doolin, instead late lunch at Liscanor. Would not use this tour company nor recommend. It added insult to injury that we paid full price for a tour that was cut by about 1/4 for a once in a lifetime experience.
- tobeyw202300Best Day of the WeekThe trip was fabulous. Our driver (Patty) was very engaging and entertaining. Most of the trip was filled with facts and stories. He tailored the trip to questions and interactions with those of us on the bus. Lunch was great and we enjoyed the whole day.
- johnmP2677UA00Nice trip! Well coordinated. The sunny weather made for great photos along the way. The stops made were enjoyable, and frequent enough to keep us energised.
- iamdesiree00DisappointedThe Cliffs were majestic and we lucked out, as it didn’t rain. However, we booked this specifically because The itinerary stated we would be stopping in Doolin for one hour, where we could have lunch. To my surprise, we stopped in Liscannor and there was only 1 lunch choice. It was good but 3 tour buses stopped here, so it was crowded and busy. However, the service was speedy and lunch was very good. Paddy Wagon needs to update the website itinerary! Driving along the Wild Atlantic Way, it would have been nice to stop at the beach in Lahinch. Also, 1/2 hour at Bunratty is way too short. Need at least an hour. We had enough time to use the restroom and grab a coffee. Didn’t have time to explore the village, shops or gardens.

Paudie was a wonderful guide with a great colorful store of information and history of everywhere we visited. The coastline is beautiful and the towns of Killarney and Dingle were tourist friendly and easy to navigate

This tour to Dingle was great! It was an all day tour but it went by so fast because it was so much fun. The scenery is gorgeous. The tour guide was really nice and informative.

Starting from Limerick, was kind of a long trip (more than 11 hours), but well worth the time spend on the road. The driver gave us a lot of information and the scenery was breathtaking. Too bad we didn't spend more time in Dingle (just around an hour and a half)! That small fishing town for sure deserves a lot more time to spend in.

This tour was fantastic! We got picked up promptly in Limerick, then dropped into Killarney (I would've loved more time there though!!) and then switched buses to the Dingle tour. Our guide, Julie, and driver (I don't remember his name!! :() were fantastic! So friendly, navigated dangerous roads with ease, and told as a lot about this beautiful area. There was just enough time in each area, and after a long day, we all were very happy. This tour was a pleasant end to my trip to Ireland. The Dingle Peninsula is one of the most beautiful parts of the country and I'm so glad I got to see it.

Paudie was an excellent bus driver/tour guide, and made the trip a lot of fun! Although some of the views were hampered by some afternoon fog, we did get to experience the more typical Irish view of the peninsula.

Ireland is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever seen with some of the best people you’ll ever meet. There are responsible companies out there. Don’t let this company ruin your experience. Especially if you are a foreigner. They were not equipped at all to plan and execute this trip. At no point in the trip did anyone ask for our names, do a roll-call, or show any sign about caring for who they were transporting.
Less than 24 hours before the trip even started from Limerick, we got a message that PW had a shortage of drivers and that our return bus would be switched to Dublin Coach and that Paddywagon (PW) would provide us tickets for the trip (see attached picture). Our driver from Limerick to Killarney was late and rude and immediately set a stressful tone. We learned in Killarney that PW they contracted a second company (Deros) to actually take us to Dingle for the day and back to Killarney. The tour was fine, but when we got back to Killarney at 4:30pm we were told to wait for the return bus at 5:30pm in the Killarney Outlet Center. At 5:30 there was no bus to be seen. We called PW who didn’t know where we supposedly getting tickets for the Dublin Coach, and they told us we had to wait at the Killarney Mission Road Bus Stop. So we Google where in is and walk 10 minutes to a new location. After 6pm, we get another call from PW saying the driver is not in Dublin Coach but in a Paddywagon bus, and hasn’t found us at Mission Road Bus Stop and will be leaving without us soon. Panicked, we looked around but saw no bus. Come to find out, PW doesn’t know they’re not at Mission Road two but the Outlet Center 10 minutes away. They did not know the difference. We sprinted to try and catch the bus but THEY LEFT US. We begged them to wait and they left. When we tried to catch public transit out of the city we were unable because the last bus to Limerick left at 6:30 (from Mission Road where we just ran from). We had to take a FREENOW for 250 euro because we had to leave from Limerick early the next day. This was supposed to be our honeymoon. They ruined it. This wasn’t just a mistake, what they are doing is downright dangerous.

This was an awesome day trip, our Paddy Wagon tour guide Charles was great gave such good info and a little Irish humor. If you have to choose between Ring of Kerry or Dingle do yourself a favor and don't miss the Dingle you won't be disappointed.

Our bus driver Jimmy was fantastic! He was outgoing, funny, and really knowledgeable about Ireland. The Dingle tour was really fun, you see beautiful landscapes and meet the locals in Dingle. It was a great experience and I am looking forward to the next Paddywagon trip !

How much walking is involved? My wife has a knee challenge that limits the amount of walking we can do.

There's not a lot of walking but at one of the photo ops you have to climb up if you want a better view. My aunt has mobility issues and did not climb up, but had no other issues during this trip. You may have to limit yourself to less walking in Killarney and Dingle as they are small towns where you have to walk around to get a feel for them.

Does this tour go by Gallarus Oratory? Or do you have another tour that provide this?
Traveling from Dublin and trying to see as much as possible.
