Nevin is the best tour guide ever! He is hilarious and so full of knowledge. My Mom and I booked this tour online and when we arrived it had turned out that we were the only ones scheduled. Nevin was more than happy to give us a private tour of Kilkenny and it was one of the highlights of our entire trip! His comedy and magic are icing on the cake, but his wealth of knowledge is fascinating and he is so passionate about his hometown. Wish him all the best, SHANENANIGANS!!!

Excellent tour, not the same ole same ole boring tour with someone spouting facts at you until you loose the will to live. Combination of interesting history, clever magic and finding out I wasn’t actually a witch (!!!) was really good fun. Worth every penny!

We had a wonderful tour with Nevin...He had a great mix of the history of the area, humor, magic and more. Thoroughly enjoyed it all and I didn’t want it to end. A great way to the town and he is full of local recommendations for just about anything you need. It was one of those travel experiences you'll always remember....you may forget a place you went to, but you'll always remember a great person you met!

We lucked out because the other group’s tour bus was delayed so my husband and I had a private tour with Nevin. He is very knowledgeable as he grew up in Kilkenny and he’s very funny. If visiting, do yourself a favor and buy a ticket for this tour.

Nevin was wonderful! Found out about a lot of history and origins of phrases and he was so delightful! It wound up being a private tour since the others cancelled. Would book with them again.

A brilliant way to spend a couple of hours. Nevin is delightful - he gave a really well informed and fascinating history tour, full of interesting little snippets, all interspersed with oodles of fun and magic. (We are still being careful how we walk across zebra crossings....)

We had a wonderful time walking the medieval mile! Nevin had a bus tour cancel on him since their bus broke down. He had the task of entertaining just the two of us. He delivered. We were laughing and engaged the entire time. Make sure to bring a drink of choice to do a toast with him at the end of the tour!
