      Easy bike rentals
We (two seniors, two adults, two teenagers) rented bikes to tour Killarney National Park. Killarney Bike Rental explained everything we needed to know upon our arrival at their facility. Two of the bikes we rented were electric bikes which made the trip to the National Park exceedingly easy. Fun, too!

      Small bikes with sticky handgrips
Friendly dude, but the bikes are dated. We both got bikes with sticky handgrips which left black marks on our hands (from the softeners releasing from the plastic). They don’t had large size bikes available for tall people. The size of the bikes is ok if you are 180 cm or shorter.

      Great service from Martin
I booked a bike from here last year and was unable to use it for other reasons. No problem, was told to hold onto booking for another day. Enquired for this April, no problem 😊. Martin couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely book a bike here again.

For Gap of Dunloe, finish at Killarney Brewing and Distillery, not Kate Kearney
Great day doing the boats at Ross Castle and cycling the Gap of Dunloe. Super helpful and hilarious staff member set us up. Bikes were overall good, nice to have a repair kit and saddle bags. My big rec is to skip Kate Kearney's for a brew/meal and instead keep cycling to Killarney Brewery and Distillery - just a little further up, you'll see it on the left across a field - this is a different, newer facility than the one in town - they did a fantastic job with awesome views, and beer and food was highly enjoyable

      Great tour
I took the Loch Lein and Gap of Dunloe Boat & Bike package. Completely awesome, very beautiful. I didn’t catch the name of the man who worked at Killarney Bike Rental who set me up with my bike, but he was great. If you like biking as a way to see a lot without having to be in a car, this is perfect. Notes on the difficulty of the ride. I have not biked much in a long time, so I was pretty sure I would end up hiking my bike on the incline of the gap. The uphill portion is short enough that you can easily hike that part and still have plenty of time for a leisurely pace on the rest of the ride. I could have even fit more in than I did. All that said, they are right that you should have some good experience and comfort biking (mine has been mostly as a bike commuter). They also provided a dry saddle bag and offered to hold my luggage, which was great. And even if it is not raining, bring a rain jacket or similar for the boat ride. The boat is small (which I liked a lot) and you will get splashed. I highly recommend.

Would again be my first choice to hire the e-bikes for the Gap of Dunloe
Organized some e-bikes for my tour group last Sunday. Everything went smoothly and it was easy to organize the boat tickets for the Gap of Dunloe on top of that. We were very happy with the service. My group had a wonderful time. All the bikes were in excellent condition.

      Excellent
Highly recommend booking a small boat trip which will take on the bikes. The boat trip costs 20 euro and takes you to Brandon’s lodge (there is a stop of at innisfallen also) the bikes are extremely solid aswell they do cater to everyone’s needs.

Very friendly staff and bikes were ready when we arrived. They provide a free map of Killarney national park too. Not much parking at the collection point but free parking just up the road. Great day😃

      Bike Gap of Dunloe
My boyfriend and I made bike reservations for biking the Gap of Dunloe. The reservations included the boat ticket prices. We expected a simple ferry across the lake, but instead, it was a wonderful 1.5 hour experience across the three lakes of Killarney National Park where we learned the history of the area. The boat and biking was easily a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend.

      Brilliant service.
I rented a bike from Killarney Bike Rental earlier this week, to cycle the Ring, and I cannot recommend them strongly enough. They are great. The bike I hired was excellent and Dave gave me plenty of brilliant tips before I set off. He even loaned me a hi-vis jacket which came in very handy when the weather got misty. Brilliant service.

      Excellent bikes
We rented bikes to travel around the park and we were so glad we went with this rental service. The bikes were in excellent condition and perfect for the sometimes not so forgiving terrain. Lads working there are also a bit of fun and give great tips of where to go and what to see. We managed to cover over 20km so really tested out the saddle for comfort.

We rented 2 electric bikes and had a wonder day visiting Dinis Cottage, Torc Waterfall, Muckross House & Abbey and Ross Castle. Bikes were excellent and owner gave clear and detailed instructions and safety advice. Very professional, friendly and helpful team. Highly recommended!

Great day out, cannot recommend enough, the bikes were really great, comfy saddle and easy gears. The guys running the shop were such good craic, and really knew true stuff. Great value too, 15euro for an adult and free parking, we spent about 5 hours in the national park, and it's manageable for all fitness levels

We rented bikes for 2 adults and a small child twice while staying in Killarney for a week. It was a very positive experience: may not be the cheapest rates, but it's worth the money. Service is quick and instructions are simple. The biggest point in my experience was the quality of the bikes: sturdy and perfectly functional. Not an issue with adjusting saddle heights or anything like that. Sturdy tyres and great brakes. I definitely recommend them.

We have been coming to Kerry for years and can’t believe we have never hired bikes before. The bikes are 15 euros each to hire for the day. You can book on line. When you take the bike one of your group needs to leave some form of ID.
The bikes are uncomplicated and very easy to adjust to your height. The gears are really simple to operate as well as the bike lock. We were given a map to follow. The route is uncomplicated and easy to cycle. Beautiful scenery and views of the lakes. We visited Muckross House and Abbey as well as Torc waterfall. Then on to Ross Castle. A great day out and one I look forward to repeating.

Along with my wife, daughter, son in law plus 3 children we hired bicycles from Killarney Bike rental last week. Great value. The trip around the large park was great craic. Saw all the sites. Took breaks along the way. Bicycles can be safely locked while unattended. Dave from Killarney Bike rental gave us great tips etc. Plus he was very entertaining. We highly recommend Killarney Bike rental. Situated adjacent to the Gleneagle Hotel.

Such an amazing company. Free parking which is amazing. very close to the National
Park and provides a free map. €15 each for the day which is not bad at all, they are open 9-6pm which means you can really get your moneys worth. No need to cycle on a main road as they’re right across from the bike path.. Definitely recommend for less confident cyclers!!!

Great day out, my self and my fiancée spent 4 hours cycling around muckross lake finishing at muckross House and gardens. A long the way stopped in for a swim in the lake. Views are surreal! The bike is €15 per bike. They close at 6pm. They provide a lock which is good. They only take cash at the rental but you can book online by card. You have to provide a form of id and leave it with tuem until you drop the bikes back. Highly recommended, great day out

The bikes were of excellent quality and you get a handy map and instructions: a must-do activity which guides you through some beautiful locations. Also handy: a very broad range of time to use the bikes, you can really take your time and take a detour if you want. Go support these guys! It’s a bit of a walk from Killarney center along a busy road. Id suggest to just book a cab to get to them. Won’t cost much and saves a nice spot of time, and the environment is pretty beyond their station, you won’t miss any nice sights until you reach the bicycle station.

Very Enjoyable experience, great service. Bikes were very light and easy to use, not big and clunky. Felt very safe and very close to Muckross, map was very nice touch. It was even okay for my mother who suffers with back problems. I remember renting bikes from here every year as a kid and even all these years later it doesnt disappoint, great day out for all.
