Comfortable, relaxing, at your pace. Loved the experience!
We chose to do a private tour after looking at miserable-looking group tour photos online. Tim was our tour guide/driver. He was so pleasant and warm and kind. It was relaxing and comfortable and took about 4 hours total. They provided hotel pickup and drop-off which was so convenient. Tim was very open to whatever we wanted to do. He suggested certain things, and if we didn't seem interested, he skipped them. I loved the areas he took us to, especially the very cute town for lunch. One thing that was missing was more verbal history/info as we drove. It was a very quiet drive and I guess I was expecting more information and history of areas as we saw them. We are a quiet group though so maybe he was just reading the room :) Still a beautiful day and a very scenic tour of the Ring of Kerry. But yeah, if i could offer constructive help to the tour company it would just be for the guides to say more, give more background and history of the locations as you go.

      Honeymoon Highlight!!
I would recommend this private tour to anyone. Totally worth the extra money spent. It was one of the highlights of our 2-week honeymoon. Cass was the best and took us places the buses couldn't get to. She was very knowledgeable and lived in the area. I can't express enough how happy my wife and I are that we booked this trip. She picked us up straight from our hotel and was accommodating to every need we had. If you can find a way to put this into your travel budget, you will not be disappointed! My sister saw some videos and photos we had posted and immediately booked a trip with Cass for this spring!! This trip made the honeymoon of a lifetime much sweeter! Thank you, Cass!

      Awesome tour and guide!
Our tour and tour guide, Anna, were excellent! The car was comfortable and Anna had suggestions of stops to make. She also accommodated our requests for a few places to see. She was absolutely terrific! So sweet and informative! We would highly recommend this tour to everyone! She even gave recommendations of places to go that evening after the tour was over. Couldn’t have had a better experience!

Excellent way to spend a day in Killarney
This was a great way to see some of the must see sites in Killarney! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. There was plenty of time between pick ups to spend at each location. The fun double decker bus was out of service unfortunately but the air conditioned coach was just fine.

      Definitely worth the ride
Always convenient to see the sites nearby and the scheduling is great. It gives you enough time and opportunity to go to various stops, and always the helpful and super friendly Driver I've had for the past three trips now!

Be ready for a walk at each stop!!
We hoped to be able to see the listed sights from the bus as we rode around the route and so we were disappointed that we couldn't see Muckross House and Ross Castle, etc from the bus. We had limited time in Killarney and thought we could at least see the beautiful sights. In addition, there is an hour between buses. So when you get off the bus you have to wait an hour for the next bus to come. This wasn't clear to us from the description.

      Opportunity To See Multiple Locations
I wish the bus ran more often. Some spots we didn’t need an hour and others we needed an hour and a half or so. The trip other than that was very nice and convenient. We got to do several things we wanted.

      Ride to the Walks☘️
Hop on Hop off is probably the best way to get to the scenic spots including Torc Waterfall and Muckross Lake. The walks at these spots are fabulous☘️

Great Option If Without A Car
This was a great option for us. We came to Killarney without a car and didn't know exactly how we were going to do Muckross Abbey, House, Torc Waterfall and Mountain. This bus can take you out there and then you can hop on and off or use the trails to walk from destination to destination and pick up at the end. We were dropped off at the Abbey, walked the trails from destination to destination and then were picked up at the Falls.

      Wonderful tour
Despite a few hours of bad weather and a detour due to construction, we had a wonderful time. Our driver and guide Kevin was interesting and fun and able to adapt our route and schedule seamlessly. The small coach is comfortable and we had only a dozen or so in our group. Deidre was very helpful in setting up our pick up and always responsive. Highly recommend.

      Not To Be Missed
I'm so glad I found this Tour! It's a great opportunity to see many absolutely gorgeous and stunningly beautiful locations in and around Killarney. What made it even more enjoyable was Kevin! He regaled us with stories and interesting facts about the castles, houses, waterfall, and National Park to name a few. He was exceptional and went above and beyond to assure a wonderful and unforgettable experience being charmed once again by the magic of Ireland. Huge thanks to him! 🇮🇪☘️💚

Our best experience and service yet!
Was at the airport in Dublin flying to Kerry and decided to see if we could book a half day tour the next day and a custom private tour from Muckross Hotel to Cliffs of Moher and then directly back to our accommodations in Dublin. I wasn’t sure if anyone could do it on short notice but I emailed Deirdre at Killarney Executive Tour and she quickly set me up on short notice at a VERY reasonable price in an outstanding vehicle that could comfortably seat 9. There were only 4 of us! Now, I know it’s off season, and it may be different at other times of the year but the service was so outstanding that I am compelled to write this review. Stephen, our guide and driver, was the absolute best. A friendly guy who went out of his way to meet all our needs and we enjoyed spending the time with him. He’s definitely considered a friend now! Highly recommend Stephen and this outfit for any trip you’d like. We rent private drivers in almost every city in Europe we visit and this was a first class experience at a very reasonable price.

Our tour was compromised due to the weather, and I can appreciate John tried to make sure it was entertaining as he could, however he could have handled it so much better. Visibility was poor, and when he wanted to point something out, he would just launch into “so see this up here…” with no description of what landmark or building he was referencing, or in which direction we should look. So much was missed due to the poor communication. I felt for the non-English speaking guests.
In between facts about Irish history, which was interesting, he would then launch into personal opinions and experiences with Airbnb. Nobody on the tour cared about his opinions on this matter. It was unprofessional to say the least. For lunch, he pulled over and said we were to go to the supermarket to buy our food - because the cafes had no staff, because staff had nowhere to live because all the housing was unavailable due to … that’s right , Airbnb. Luckily I did find a cafe, and the staff were only too welcoming.
Once he ran out of facts, he then began to make up his own. After telling the story of how people used to believe bad fairies took baby boys, he said they used to dress them up like girls to confuse them, and that’s where it started that girls wear pink and boys wear blue. This is factually incorrect. It is well documented that today’s color dictate wasn’t established until the 1940s, as a result of Americans’ preferences as interpreted by manufacturers and retailers. He also claimed that the population of Ireland is 7.5 million, which is the same as it was back in the 1800’s, but he doesn’t think it will increase, because the young people will need to leave Ireland again because there’s no housing, thanks to… you guessed it the evil Airbnb. Ireland’s population has only just reached 5.1 million.
The tour size was great. Would I take this tour again. No.
Would I recommend it to someone? Only if you don’t care for truth, or professionalism.

Hello Helen, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review after your recent tour with us on the Ring of Kerry. We really appreciate all feedback on our tours so we can work at providing the best service we can for our passengers. We will take all your points on board and discuss with John about his poor communication on the tour and how he expressed his personal views to passengers unnecessarily. As part of many tours in Ireland, a lot of the drivers and guides will try and include some folklore or storytelling. These tales are not intended to mislead or confuse people, but I will talk to John about this and ask him to be more accurate with his detail. For the lunch stop, he advised on purchasing lunch at the local grocery store as there are many days when the passengers are unable to get service in the local cafes and restaurants. We will ask John to explain better about the lunch options and let people know about the grocery store as an alternative if there is no availability in the other locations in Waterville. I would like to thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. We are always working to be able to offer a quality service for our passengers and we try to run our tours so that they can offer the best experience for visitors. We will review all the points that you have highlighted here so we can offer a better service going forward. Finally, I do hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Ireland, and thank you for travelling with us. Regards Pat

While our guide was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable, unfortunately the microphone was broken so he could only tell us a little about the stops when we got there. The scenery was nice, but the stops weren't very interesting to be honest. Muckross Traditional Farms are far better than the Kerry Bog Village "museum" and there's only so many gift shops and cafes you can visit in a day. I would have preferred stops at the many archeological sites, castles, ringforts etc. along the way instead of village after village.

My son and I took this day tour in July. The driver of the tour was Pat Breen and I have to say, he was an excellent guide, full of interesting information, knowledgeable of the Ring of Kerry and an all round extremely nice man who was accommodating, patient when anyone was late and very obliging. He made the day for us. The weather was lovely so we had clear views of the many sights and viewing areas. I really enjoyed the trip and was glad I made it. I wasn't feeling to well that morning and wasn't sure I would be able for 7 hours on a bus but the stops are paced well, Waterville is a lovely place to lunch and Sneem is a lovely little village and a bonus to see along the way. The best thing was, we got to see some of the most beautiful sights from a great height without having to negotiate the challenging roads. It was great to park the car and let an experienced driver take us around for the day and give us a guided tour with loads of information on what we were seeing and where we were. I would highly recommend this tour for all ages.

Hello Marya072 Thank you for such a lovely review and delighted to hear that you and your son enjoyed the day tour on the Ring of Kerry with us. We will be sure to pass your compliments on to Pat Breen, he'll be delighted with the feedback. We try to space out the stops along the way that while it is a full day out on tour, there are plenty of breaks for people along the way to visit the area and get the most of the tour on the iconic Ring of Kerry! Many thanks Pat M

We really enjoyed this trip and our guide, John. The bus is smaller- probably seats 20-30, but there were only 6 of us on our tour so it was perfect. We had fantastic weather and our guide was very knowledgeable. The 9:30 start time was nice compared to many tours that start super early. It was easy to walk to the starting location from our centrally located hotel. We did 4 different bus tours in Ireland and this was our favorite one. The views are beautiful and we were able to do a short hike at our first stop which was a great way to start the day. My 20 year old son was also very enamored with the Irish Coffee we bought along the way.

Good morning Thank you for leaving a review after your recent tour with us on the Ring of Kerry. We do travel with smaller group numbers and prefer the early start the get the most out of the day, and our passengers always seem happy with this option. There is so much to see on the Ring of Kerry and in all weathers the mountain and sea scapes are stunning! And very glad to hear that your son enjoyed his Irish Coffee! :-) Thank you for your feedback and we will share your lovely comments with our driver/guide John. Regards Pat

John, our guide was very knowledgeable but the tour was a little depressing. The sights were awesome despite the gloomy day but some of the stops were unnecessary.... bog museum, for example. We were looking forward to a delicious seaside lunch in Waterville but were told the restaurants were short staffed and that we only had a half hour and suggested we eat at the local grocery store. Not exactly what we had planned for our trip.

We had done a cliffs of moher tour two days prior and that was excellent, well planned and a beautiful seaside lunch. It seemed much more organized. Again, John is excellent, but the overall tour did not live up to the five star expectations we had read about.

Good afternoon Vivian, Thank you for your review and I'm sorry to hear that the tour didn't live up to your expectations. We have been having bad weather for a lot of June so it is good to know that some of the the sights were still enjoyable despite the rain. The Kerry Bog Village is one of the first stops on the tour, and while some people find the traditional village fascinating, I do appreciate it wasn't something that you found very interesting. With regards the lunch stop, we have been experiencing problems for our passengers getting spaces at tables to be able to order their lunch, so this is why John recommended the grocery store, but we will discuss this with him and ask him to let passengers know of all lunch options when they get to Waterville. Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review and we will take all your points on board. I do hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Ireland, and thank you for travelling with us. Executive Travel with Kevin the driver did a fantastic job driving us around the beautiful Ring of Kerry. He gave us time to explore and informed us of the many beautiful sights in and around Killarney and Killarney National Park. The stops gave us time to sightsee, stretch, and have lunch and snacks. The communication and punctuality was superb and I would highly recommend this tour. It was so much better than driving ourselves. Thanks again Kevin for a great excursion.

Pros: small bus, more personal experience. Our driver Kevin was great; friendly, knowledgeable and funny, and provided lots of insight as we drove, even providing family history as we neared Waterville, making it a more personal experience. Cons: with such beautiful scenery wish we could have stopped at more places for photos, but understandably this isn't possible without turning the tour into 12 hours (plus no other companies do this).

We have had a amazing experience.
Our day started not very good in our B&B, and when the tour started we forgot it. Rings of Kerry is a absolutely beautiful trip to do in Ireland. We are living in Ireland for 6 years, and we haven’t come to the south yet.
We asked the girl in the phone at the day before about bring our Shitzu 7 months puppy, she backed to us that we were allowed to bring him! So it was a plus.
Pat was with us during the trip, he is a really nice guy, he have been in Brazil and we had lots things to talk about. Even he loves questions and he has answers for everything.
So really, I have been in many countries even continents, I love Ireland but this tour was the best bus tour that I have done in my whole life. We could fell as a local resident, at the local’s spots! So if you come to Killarney, please, go to enjoy this tour.
We would recommend it for everyone. It is good for families, kids, friends, couples and even little dogs 😂🥰

    Thank you very much guys!

I went on a ring of kerry Tour on the 14th of September with John as the driver and the guide. We visited lot of different places, villages, the chocolate factory and we stopped quite a few times to take photos of the amazing landscape. The experience was top and I don't think it would have been any better. John is an excellent driver and guide very knowledgeable and funny. 100% recommended tour of the ring of kerry!
