Another amazing tour from Deros! This time we had Danny! He knew all the secret spots and let us really make the trip our own to see our special family locations along the way! Thanks for a wonderful day in Kerry!

Best Tours in County Kerry Ireland
This was by far the best tour I have ever taken! The driver, Batt, was one of the most knowledgeable historians in the county. He made sure we didn’t miss anything, he had inside information about the area and its history which was amazing to hear and see. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour. The bus was comfortable and worked well for the people who had difficulty walking. You have the option to get out and take pictures and enjoy the stops, but you get a great view of most right from the windows of the bus! I look forward to coming back and hearing Batt sing us old Irish songs. He made me cry, more than once, with his beautiful melodic voice. If you’re looking to tour Killarney, don’t miss this one!!!

      Amazing locally operated tour experience
The tour of the Ring of Kerry was a wonderful experience. I love that Deros is locally owned and operated with local guides- this means a homey experience and so much fascinating commentary. I would highly recommend Deros.

Ring of Kerry Tour - Perfect for Honeymoon
We took this trip as part of our honeymoon and the tour was great. Michael couldn’t have been any better for a driver. He gave bits of information throughout and also had a few conversations with us during the stops. Stopped for coffee and lunch and then frequent stops throughout to take pictures of the amazing views along the way. Highly recommend if you wanted to take a day to see various spots of what makes Ireland so beautiful.

      DIngle tour
We had a great time seeing Dingle for the second time. Sheila was a great tour guide. We saw all the spots and had a terrific lunch in Dingle. It was a lot of fun and Sheila even sang a song or two for us. DIngle should not be missed.

Deros Coach Tours with our guide Denis is top notch! Highly recommend.
Deros Coach Tours was easy to book and the location to join the tour was in the City Centre. Denis, our guide was wonderful! Knowledgeable and very witty. I would highly recommend any tour he gives. He loves County Kerry and Killarney.

Wonderful Tours from Deros Coach Tours
I recently took two amazing tours with Deros Coach Tours in Killarney: the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle and Slea Head tours. Both were incredibly scenic and well-organized. Our driver, Michael, was professional, friendly, and ensured a smooth, enjoyable experience. He provided useful information at key moments, and his calm demeanor made the trip all the more relaxing. The stunning landscapes speak for themselves, and I’d highly recommend Deros Coach Tours for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Ireland. I also want to give a special thank you to Michael for going above and beyond by finding my lost sunglasses on the bus and making sure I’d get them back afterward.

Deros Tour of the Ring of Kerry: A Journey Led by a Horse with Barn Blindness and Zero Consideration for Safety
If you're looking for an inspiring, informative journey through the stunning landscapes of the Ring of Kerry, I strongly recommend avoiding the Deros Tour. What should have been a breathtaking exploration of one of Ireland's most beautiful regions felt more like a dreary trot through a well-worn path led by a horse that simply knows where the barn is. And believe me, that's not a compliment. Our guide, who I hesitate to even call that, might as well have been a horse with barn blindness. Sure, they knew the stops, the turns, and the final destination, but it was done with such mechanical, unenthusiastic precision that I could almost hear the proverbial hoofbeats clopping away on autopilot. There was no passion, no sense of storytelling, no depth. The guide rattled off facts like a checklist—no interaction, no excitement, just the bare minimum to get us through the motions and back to where we started. But the worst part? The guide didn’t even wait for passengers to sit down before driving off after each stop. As I was trying to make my way to my seat, the bus suddenly jerked into motion, causing me to hit my head. Instead of being a relaxing journey through the Irish countryside, it became a stressful, disorienting rush where I couldn’t even feel safe while walking to my seat. The lack of consideration for basic passenger safety is appalling. The beauty of the Ring of Kerry was lost in the rush to get from one spot to the next, with barely enough time to appreciate any of it. The experience felt like being herded—literally led by the nose, with no chance to slow down, no room for spontaneity or exploration. It’s as if the tour was designed solely to get the group back on the bus as quickly as possible, rather than truly immersing us in the scenery or history. Much like a horse headed straight for the barn at the end of a long day, our guide's focus was entirely on the destination, not the journey. And just like a rider stuck on such a horse, we passengers had no choice but to endure a tedious, uninspired slog, compounded by reckless behavior that made the trip feel unsafe. If you're looking for an unforgettable journey through the Ring of Kerry, look elsewhere. This tour might get you to the barn, but you'll miss the magic (and risk a headache) along the way.

Excellent driver. Great tour. Easy to book. Easy to find.
We are so glad we had Mike as our driver we paid €8 more each for a front row seat. I think it was worth it.
So you know. The historical bog was an extra €6 each. The border collie and sheep demonstration was worth every cent but another €6 each. Lunch was around €20 each and it was ok. Lamb based Irish Stew.

We did not look at other tours. Some are more expensive but include the extras. Mike was nice, prompt, gave clear directions as to time allowed at each stop and a Fantastic driver

We booked the tour so that my husband and I could enjoy the Ring of Kerry without the worry of driving. It was well worth it. We enjoyed our driver Michael who kept everyone on track of time and was super informative. 100% do Kells Sheep Dog Display. It was amazing and worth the 6 Euros to watch. We stopped at The Red Fox Inn and I highly recommend getting a Baileys coffee; it was the best we have ever had. The bus stops at many lookout spots and there was plenty of stops to stretch and use the restrooms. We really enjoyed the tour. Tip: sit on the right side of the bus, best views of everything and if the front seats are available when you check in at the office, pay the 8 euros extra, well worth it!

Our bus driver, Michael, was very informative and we were impressed with his driving skill. Some of these Irish roads are very narrow. Our favorite part of the trip was the visit to the sheep farm. Brenden really put on a great presentation and this was well worth the price of admission! I would recommend this to anyone!

I don't relish giving average reviews of independent tour companies, but honestly, this was one of our least favorite days we spent touring. First of all, it was a rainy day, therefore there was little to see - so if you only have a short time in Ireland and it's rainy, I'd say skip it. Because that's no fault of the tour company, I gave the tour 3 stars, but for us it was more like a 1 star event. Second, we arrived 30 min early to get a front row seat only to find out they sell them online months in advance- I could have slept in (something to know before you go). Our driver Michael was a super nice guy and an excellent driver. I felt safe the entire time, but while he did his job well- which was driving the bus and keeping us safe, I don't feel like it's fair of the tour company to have the bus driver also be the tour guide. First, he's driving a huge coach bus with 40+ lives on windy rainy roads. While he did give some nice tid bits of information, he has quite a charming thick Irish accent, so most of us around us, couldn't understand him or hear him well. Not his fault, but had Deros hired an actual entertaining funny tour guide who could stand at the front and speak for a greater portion of the 6 hour tour (like most big coach tour buses do) it would have been much more entertaining on a rainy day. I would have happily paid an extra $10 to have that fun/entertaining tour guide, while feeling safe that Michael was focusing completely on the road keeping us safe. We made several stops at tourist traps which were fine, but it felt like a cattle herd in and out of the coffee shop and restaurant because several other coach buses were there as well. I did really enjoy the sheep dog demonstration, my favorite part of the 6 hours. I don't think it's a bad tour if that's what you are looking for, I just wouldn't do it again because the Ring of Kerry while nice, isn't breathtaking compared to other parts of Ireland to drive through. I also think it's important to know to bring cash, as some of the places (most importantly the sheep dog demonstration don't take cc). There was a beautiful waterfall at the end, but we had 15 min and it took 5 min to walk up and 5 min to walk back. The picturesque stops were more quick photo ops.

    NO COVID PRECAUTIONS

I booked this tour based on the fact that face masks were required in public areas and low number of passengers taken per trip. (I was also charged some sort of covid up charge due to passenger volume.) More than half of the passengers on our 6 hour tour were not wearing face masks including the driver. The driver also did not let passengers know that face masks were required. There was very little ventilation on the bus.

If you are not concerned with covid, and many people aren’t, I would recommend the tour as it was very informative and covered a lot of ground.

If you are concerned about covid, I would recommend looking at other companies.

We greatly enjoyed our day touring the Ring of Kerry with Bat! He was an excellent driver, tour guide and even singer (just sang one song)! There were plenty of opportunities to get off the bus to see the sights and take photos. My husband enjoyed a day of not driving the rental car and just getting to enjoy the beautiful sights.

Our lunch stop was at the Scarriff Inn Restaurant which had an absolutely beautiful view. It is pricey for what you get, but again you are paying for the view. We were the last ones off the bus, so were a bit rushed in eating as everyone files into a cafeteria type line to purchase lunch. My son has gluten and dairy allergies and that was a little tricky - we found that you need to ask someone about the allergens as the menu was not completely up to date.

Another thing to note is that we arrived 15 minutes before the tour start time, and were practically the last ones on the bus. We ended up sitting near the back, but thankfully that didn't take away from our experience. I have no idea how early the other people arrived and were allowed to get on the bus.

We absolutely loved the sheep dog demonstration - it's not to be missed. Just make sure you have 8 euro cash on hand per person for admission. It was well worth it to us! There's also another stop where you have the option to pay for admission to something called the 18th-19th Century Famine Village, which we did and enjoyed, especially because we wanted to see the 2 Irish Wolfhounds that they have there. I think it was about 6 or 7 euro per person also cash. If you decide not to pay to enter the village, you can hang out at The Red Fox Inn pub which is right next door.

Overall wonderful, memorable day on The Ring of Kerry with Deros Coach Tours!

We had an exceptional experience on our private tour of the Ring of Kerry. Peter was an outstanding tour guide. He was professional, courteous, on time and even early for our pick up right at our hotel. While his route was mapped out, he was very flexible with any additional things we wanted to see or stop to visit. He was extremely knowledgeable on the history and the local areas we visited. If you are planning a trip to Ireland, and want to avoid buses in crowds, I would highly recommend looking up Peter for his private guided tour. It was an exceptional experience that we will cherish for a lifetime! Thank you Peter!

Expensive considering nothing is included. Most stops are completely unrelated to the Ring of Kerry - a gift shop, lunch in a total tourist trap, and a (very cool) sheepdog demonstration. Guide was totally uninterested and basically a paid passenger who would give a one-sentence comment about the places we passed every 10-15 minutes. Driver did an excellent job on the narrow winding roads.

Our driver Batt was great, loads of local personal knowledge, made it such an enjoyable tour. Two 6 euro entrance fee stops were both very worthwhile, one only accepted cash. Small friendly group of fellow visitors, one couple got engaged at a particularly scenic spot
