Peter met my wife and I at our Kenmare hotel and he was very accommodating to make sure we made sufficient stops for scenic viewing and pictures. Peter also repeatedly said that we could make any stop along the route. He is knowledgeable about the area and can cover history in as much depth as desired. He made sure to take the time to drive carefully since much of the road is very narrow. The sites of the coastline are fantastic with very little traffic compared to other Ring tours. If you’re looking for little crowds and fantastic camera opportunities, this is your tour!

Peter was an excellent driver and guide. We were able to tailor our day to our liking and Peter was very flexible. He was knowledgeable and had great suggestions for different stops and look out points including a beautiful point to see the Skellig Rocks. A great day!

My husband and I toured the Ring of Kerry with Peter Stanley. He is an amazing guide! He is very knowledgeable and kind. We were able to see so many wonderful sights and understand their significance. Peter picked us up at our hotel in Kenmare and we circled the ring in an opposite direction then the many tour buses that do this tour out of Kerry. We were also able to see parts of the ring where the big buses can’t go. Peter gave us several choices to stop for lunch and the one we chose was spot on. The food was delicious. I am certain the other options would have been great too. Don’t hesitate to book this tour with Peter Stanley. It has been the highlight of our trip.

Peter was amazing! On time to pick us up and Very knowledgeable about the spots throughout the ring of Kerry and it is so easy to have a conversation with him! 100 percent would recommend this tour. Peter took two of us on a tour of the Beara Peninsula. The full day tour was excellent. He is passionate and knowledgeable not only about the Beara Peninsula but Ireland. He is sociable and explained all of the locations we visited. We lucked out because the day we took the tour, the weather was sunny. The peninsula’s rugged beauty is amazing. On the road trip, Peter drove along the coast, took back roads, and showed us small villages on the coast. He pointed out the Skellig Islands where some of the Stars Wars movies were filmed. Along the way, he gave us plenty of time on our own. For example, we had time to explore the Kenmare village shops and stone circle, the fishing town of Castletownbere, ruined abbeys and cemeteries, take photos of the mountains, valleys, ocean, and innumerable sheep. One of the tour’s highlights was our visit to the Uragh Stone Circle, one of Ireland’s most famous Neolithic stone circles. Peter suggested two restaurants, one in Kenmare (Maison Gourmet where the owner serves delicious and fresh French pastries) and one in Castletownbere (Lynch’s which serves burgers and other casual foods). We bought sheet music and a tin whistle at Soundz of Muzic store, which stocks instruments, Irish sheet, music, and more. He arrived on time at our hotel, namely, the International Hotel Killarney. After the tour, we felt well acquainted the Beara Peninsula and left with memories of a lifetime.

Piotr J. (Peter) took us around the Ring of Kerry and was very accommodating. His knowledge of Ireland was outstanding ! He made sure to take us places that were unique and not touristy. We had the best day seeing Skellig Michael with perfect views and all the little towns on the ring. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would!!

This was an absolutely fantastic experience for me and my friends during our stay in Killarney. Our guide, Peter, was nothing but incredibly kind, flexible, and full of knowledge on the history of Ireland and the Dingle Peninsula. We stopped at numerous spots including Inch Beach, Slea Head, DingleCrystal, and, per our request, a sheep farm (we got to hold lambs!). Being able to drive the perimeter of the entire peninsula was beautiful. Peter gave us an excellent experience of all and truly made us appreciate the rich history behind it. I would highly highly recommend booking a tour with Peter as your guide—we loved this tour so much and we loved Peter! Without a doubt the highlight of our week in Ireland.

Peter was fantastic! Communicated with me the day before the tour to set up pick up. Showed up early and so friendly. We really didn’t know everything we wanted to see- he asked great questions to help us plan out our day that worked for us. Took us to all the best places, took pictures for us. We spent a truly enjoyable day with Richard Moxley touring the Ring of Kerry. We were lucky enough to have lovely weather in the morning and mysterious fog, mist and drizzle in the afternoon. The views were great even when the weather turned, and the tour was truly a special treat. Richard is so knowledgable and interesting to talk with and learn from. A great day all around.

Ted Kennedy, my personal tour guide for the Ring of Kerry all-day tour, created a life-long memory that I will treasure forever. Ted is a local who has been doing the tour for over 30 years. He tailored the tour to ensure my personal interests - ruins, castles and cliffs - were prioritized and I had as much time as I wanted to explore and experience them. The Kerry Cliffs are even more spectacular than the more famous (for now) Cliffs of Moher! In addition to knowing all the historical background for the entire area, Ted seemed to know everyone who lived and/or was present along the tour route, whether along a remote road, at a stop or in a restaurant along the way! Knowing I was seeking information on my ancestors, he offered advice on where to find official records, based on my family name, and then even introduced me to a local woman who may be related to my great-great grandmother. Ted broke up the drive with opportunities to get out and walk and climb through gorgeous scenic locations, many off the main Ring of Kerry road. I have pictures that are breathtaking and will always think of Ted when I look at them! Thank you, Ted, you are a perfect representative for Ireland and its people🍀!
