Beautiful tour! Was so glad we ended up booking this instead of driving ourselves since these roads definitely require a little more experience driving on these roads. My father ended up leaving his bag at one of the stops (with his passport in it) and our driver, Micheal, was such a huge help in getting it back to us. Cannot thank him enough!
Only suggestion I have if you are considering this your is to have some dramamine on hand as some of the second half of the trip was a little tough if you get motion sick easily.
Overall had a 10/10 experience, would definitely recommend!

Ray was very informative, friendly and flexible. He made sure everyone had a great day. There were 10 people on the tour, and the trip was beautiful. This is a great idea when the weather is good or bad. There were stops at beautiful places and there was more than enough to see. During the lunch break, we had a nice talk about farming related topics. Ray is open and interested to talk about all kinds of topics. Thanks for the great time!

Deros Tours provided us with a great day! This was a last minute decision as I had considered driving the Ring myself, but changed my mind. Parts of the drive I could have done, but other parts...NOPE. So glad we took this trip instead. Our driver was amazing and so very entertaining balanced with informative. We made an unexpected (additional cost) visit to learn about sheep herding and it was AMAZING! Well worth the extra few Euros. We never felt rushed and our driver kept us on time with the right amount of time allotted for photo stops and lunch. EXCELLENT!

I cannot recommend this tour enough. Our driver/guide’s name was Batt. He was incredible. Knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly talented (he sang to us!). The tour was amazing and a great way to see the Ring of Kerry. There were several stops on the way and we always had an opportunity to get out of the bus and take a picture. It was an absolutely beautiful tour and one I don’t think I’ll ever stop talking about. One heads-up, some of the stops required euro only transactions!

The driver was knowledgeable, polite, and very competent. The only criticism is that the seats are quite narrow. I’m a small person (5’3” and 120 lbs) and felt a little squished sitting in the window seat next to my husband.

What an amazing day! Our driver was Bat and he was lovely. Full of interesting facts and info from start to finish. Sang songs, recited poems. Really amazing. The tour itself was beautiful. So many gorgeous spots to stop and a great lunch with a view. I especially enjoyed the sheep dog demonstration! Thank you Deros

Tim was wonderful, he did the boat part of the tour. He told interesting info and had a few funny stories. The jaunty horse ride wasn’t good at all. The views were spectacular but the jaunty driver barely spoke to us, and kept asking me to move forward in the cart . Because it is quite hilly l kept sliding back. Not much l could do about it! She said she had been doing theses rides for many years so perhaps she was bored. Another driver even mentioned that her horse needed a rest (He was winded) but she didn’t pull over. We didn’t enjoy this part of the excursion at all.

This tour was well worth the time and money spent! Michael was our tour guide and he was just great. He was knowledgeable about the area and Ring, punctual, patient, and just a pleasure in general.
The chosen stops included Dingle Bay, Ladie's View, Torc Waterfall and a handful of other amazing points that you wouldn't want to miss. The views were everything you would expect to see out of Ireland and more! If you're planning a trip to Ireland and not looking to drive the Ring yourself, this is the way to go!
(I haven't uploaded any photos quite yet, but take my word, your camera roll will be stocked.)

Going around the perimeter of the National Park is not "including Killarney National Park.". Mentioning Ross Castle in passing is not "including Ross Castle.". The ad material is misleading, but I enjoyed the drive and the views. Bus was comfortable, clean and quiet.

Six of us went on a private tour in a Mercedes van on the Ring of Kerry. It was a nice respite from driving the very narrow roads in a van. Ray was our driver....very informative. Provided lots of history and we were able to make lots of stops, even finding the house where one of our parties mother lived where he even met a cousin. Definitely worth the additional money taking a private tour. Make sure you get a Ray!

Hi, I wanted to know if we have any breaks where we can get off the bus and admire the surroundings? 😊
I think it's a good way to travel, but I don't want to spend all day looking out the window.
Thank you 😊

How long would we be at the Ring of Kerry in total, off the bus? I'd like to have plenty of time to walk around, explore, take photos, hike, etc. Thank you in advance!

The stopovers are quite quick, 20 to 30 minutes at the most.
The overview says includes Dingle Bay but not in the tour name and no reviewer commented on the Bay.

You look out over the Dingle bay from the coast portion of the North side of the Ring of Kerry drive. You can see the Dingle Peninsula across the bay but too far to make out any details but it is a beautiful scenic view.

Is there a place to park in Killarney close to the pick up location?

Hi there, There ar4e car parks close by, however they are Pay& Display and might not provide the length of parking necessary for any day long tour, We parked on the road behind the Cathedral, which is Free parking all day and it's only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Killarney.

I don't believe so...at least the large coach bus we got on didn't seem to have anything available. They do have smaller buses that do Dingle Peninsula, which could have room for a wheelchair. Your best bet is to contact the tour company in advance to confirm.
Hello, while driving the ring do they stop and allow you out to ale pictures? If so how often?
WhereSheGos
New York City, NY1,127 contributions
Yes they stop at select points. It is not your choice where they stop, but you'll get a decent amount of stops to take a few photos. Of course if you drive your own car you have flexibility to stop anywhere you like. /the bus route was great so we didn't have to worry about driving narrow windy roads alone.
