This was a fantastic day from start to finish. Our driver, Gerry, pick us up from our hotel and then we had about a 30m wait until the rest of the guests joined in. From Galway, we drove through the countryside, all while Gerry explained Irish history and geology. He was so knowledgeable and friendly! The price of the ticket included a ferry ride over to the Aran Islands as well as admission to the Cliffs of Moher visitor center. We were on the island for about 2 hours. We paid 10 euro for a tractor ride around the island, stopping to see the sights. Other options including renting a bike or a horse and cart ride. The Cliffs of Moher were unbelievable and really defy explanation. We loved how personable and knowledgeable Gerry was. This was a wonderful way to spend the day. Highly recommend.

We got very lucky with the weather and had an absolutely wonderful day. The boat ride, the scenery, everything was fantastic. To top things off, our driver/guide "Patters"(?), mentioned a show (Trad on the Prom) in Salt Hill. We went on our last night in Ireland and it was incredible, the music and dancing!!! Take this tour if you are in Galway!!

Hopped on the bus around 9 and our tour guide and bus driver, Alan, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the tour. We followed him to a great pub once we got off the ferry and had a great lunch. Walked around the island checking out other sites and took some great photos. Alan was helpful and gave us some great tips about the cliffs of moher. On the way back he took a scenic route pointing out historical places and cool sites telling us about each one in great detail. Highly recommend this tour it was a great day and Alan's jokes are hilarious.

They get everyone loaded onto the bus and tell them that they will not be going to the Aran Islands due to the weather (understandable). We were then given the option of going to the Cliffs of Moher and a "cave" - while the Cliffs were amazing the cave substitution was lame.

This was one of the most fantastic trips you can take for the money! Just keep in mind that it's Western Ireland, so just expect you could have great weather or it could be cloudy and rainy. We were blessed to have great weather, the Atlantic was calm and the ferry was barely rocking. You will see so much on this trip, from castles to the cliffs to the small Aran island to a ride through the Burrens. It really was like a 'cliff notes' sampling of the many things you can see and do in the area. Our next trip we'll plan to spend more time exploring sights along the way. Like, walking the entire length of the cliff trail, spending all day in the Aran islands, hiking the Burrens, visiting the many, many, many castles and caves along the way.
I highly recommend packing some food and drinks, as if you were to try and get lunch you will miss out on a lot of sightseeing (especially on the island!). Our guide Jerry was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, really 'punny' and just an absolute fantastic person. We'd love to go out sometime and have a few pints with him!
One of the best values for the money we've ever spent on a tour and would gladly do it again! You won't be disappointed!

Overall, a very good tour. However, we were told this was a relatively calm day on the water. Far from it. We've been on whale watching boats in Alaska, Atlantic and Pacific - this was by far the most violent and choppy rides we've ever had. My wife's medical condition was triggered by this and many of the passengers were hurling on the return trip. There is an option to fly to the Aran Islands - I'd strongly encourage that instead.

Took this yesterday what a great tour. I have to admit the weather was great and made all the difference. We had a great tour guide on the the Island also who gave us a great slice of Island life while growing up. Our tour guide Peter made the trip very knowledgeable, with always a great story and a laugh was a great time.
