      Lovely visit
Lovely place, especially the enormous walled garden. There's a shuttle bus to the gardens to save time if that's needed. House is lovely, and there is a cafe and shop.

      Amazing day trip
Really nice trip with great guide! Alan (driver/guide) gave us both facts about the villages, area, landscape as well as fun anecdotes. Smooth timetable and enough time on both the island and the cliffs.

It was a very smooth ride and awesome driver and guide Jerry! The sites were breath taking. Our kids 8 and 11 also were happy with it since not to long trips without a stop.

Great Day Tour of Connemara with Seoirse
We had a great day on our tour of Connemara with our driver Seoirse! He tailored the day to what our family wanted to see and provided great details and stories to give context to the sights we visited.

      Highly recommended tour
Highly recommend this tour. Beautiful scenery, informative guide and fascinating history. Tour guide Gerry was good fun and full of good craic. The Wanderly Wagon tour on Inisheer was excellent.

      The best tour from Galway
This was truly an amazing tour with Gerry as our driver and guide. He was so knowledgeable, funny, helpful and we saw and learned so much from him. He gave us good advice about a van tour on Innisheer with yet another perfect guide. I can’t reccommend him enough.

      Comfortable, easy and enjoyable.
Comfortable bus, entertaining and helpful driver, varied scenery... This tour is worth-while. Crossing Connemara you see Connemara ponies, plenty of sheep (and new-born lambs in March), dry-stone walling, mountains, lakes and peat bogs. There's a shuttle bus at Kylemore Abbey to take you to the magnificent walled garden, or you can walk. Then there's time for eating and shopping, and wandering around at the Abbey building. A very nice way to tour the area.

      Incredible tour with breathtaking views!
I had such an incredible day trip with guide Alan! We stopped at Dunguaire Castle where we had 20 minutes to take pictures and walk around. Then we stopped at Hazel Mountain Chocolate Factory where we had a little tour, and there's a café and restrooms. We then continued along the Wild Atlantic Way, and the views were breathtaking! I recommend sitting on the right on the bus so you can appreciate the view of the ocean! We stopped somewhere along the road to go out and see the Burren and the water, and take pictures. I was traveling alone, and Alan offered to take pictures of me which I really appreciated. We then had a lunch stop in Doolin (1h to eat in a really nice pub). And then we arrived at the Cliffs of Moher. Absolutely breathtaking, I loved it. We had two hours there which was perfect. I had time to walk a bit on both sides of the visitor's center, and got great views. It's February, so it wasn't crowded at all which was wonderful! And the weather was wonderful with the sun!! Very lucky! I had time to stop at the visitor's center and have a look there, and also get a cup of tea before getting back on the bus to go back to Galway. Truly wonderful tour. Thank you Alan!

      Great day!
Great stops! I came with my dad and we both enjoyed ourselves very much! Gave reduced price tickets into the abbey or you could hike into the national park! The abbey and grounds around were amazing! Our guide Damien was very knowledgeable and was very personable! Only warning, if you get car sick, you are on curving roads all day and might be something to think about!

Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher
Great way to see the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher. Our ride across the water and back was very smooth. Seeing the Cliffs from the bottom really shows how magnificent they really are. We chose to take a horse and wagon ride around the island. Our guide was a local and had great insights into many topics.

Outstanding tour. We really enjoyed our tour guide, Alan. He was very knowledgeable and personable. We (my son and I) felt like we were all buddies by the end of the day. The Aron Islands were really cool and seeing the Cliffs from the sea was an experience everyone should do. I highly recommend this tour.

      Must see!
Absolutely loved this experience. Bus trip to the ferry included some nice history about the area. The ferry ride was fast to the island and our guide was helpful in getting us a local to take us on a ride around the island. Had lunch in a great pub. The Cliffs of Moher from the water were amazing to see and very informative. Had plenty of time at the visitors center after the ferry ride. This also allowed you to walk and see the cliffs from the top. Overall great experience. It was a very rainy morning when we went which made for a cold experience on the island but we were bundled up and an Irish coffee at the pub was the best thing to warm us up. Would recommend this experience. Only have it 4 stars instead of 5 because the man who greeted us at the bus (not the tour guide/driver, he was amazing) was a bit annoyed that we did not get there at 8:45. We were traveling with my elderly parents who walk very slow. Other than this, excellent experience.

      Fabulous tour, great company.
The Wild Atlantic Way company was first class all the way. We had a fabulous day, even the little rain didn’t spoil the experience. We found Inisheer Island very interesting and highly recommended doing the horse and cart tour around the island. The cruise around the cliffs was truly spectacular, rugged and treacherous. Then to explore the coast from above was amazing and the cliffs so vase. One feels so very small in this landscape. Our last stop was the Burren described as a moon-like landscape. Very interesting. This is a day full of adventure and I would highly recommend do it.

This was, unfortunately, not the tour that I'd originally booked. I wanted to go to the Aran Islands and see the Cliffs from the boat, but I was there at the end of the season and their ferry partners quit early, so they offered me this tour instead. I'm still sad to have missed the islands, but I'm so glad I decided to take them up on their offer! My tour guide/driver was excellent, knowledgeable, and funny. We had a good amount of time at the individual locations (~2 hours at the Cliffs), and we stopped at a lot of places to see different sites on the west coast of Ireland. The only caveat I would add is that this is NOT a small group tour. Based on previous experiences I was expecting there to be 12-16 people (like a large van); this wasa full-sized bus (we had 35, but there were definitely empty seats). So if you're looking for something more intimate, this might not be the one for you. (A second caveat that I'm not sure other companies will offer smaller tours; my experiences were with tours in other places.) They did require masking on the bus, so even though there were a lot of us it felt mostly okay, COVID-wise (as okay as you can be with 35 other people).

Thank you for your review. We've just completed our second summer season in Covid times and it's still very difficult to predict passenger numbers with any certainty. To be fair our ferry partners operated everyday during the summer that the weather permitted. Unfortunately, come the end of the season, passenger numbers fell dramatically and it was decided to curtail their season early, about 2 weeks in all. Anyways, I'm delighted to learn you enjoyed our Cliffs of Moher and The Burren Day Tour. We use smaller, more intimate, vehicles on our Connemara Day Tours as they enable us to access areas no other tour operator can. All our staff have completed the Failte Ireland Covid Safety Charter and it's great when someone notices the efforts we're making to keep everyone safe.

My son and I did a one say sightseeing tour with Cliffs of Moher last week and Gerry was our driver. It was a brilliant day that went on perfectly. As we drove to the Cliffs Gerry told us some history facts, song songs, told jokes, and made sure we were entertained and tuned to the passing scenery. He was fantastic and very attentive to our needs, checking if we were ok, if we understood his accent, if we needed anything, giving hints what to do on our stops and what else to see around Galway. We have stopped to visit a Dunguaire castle, then had 2,5 hours to walk around on Cliffs of Moher, stopped at Doolin for lunch and drove back by Galway by the sea. Perfect day with great weather- the day started cloudy but by the time we reached the Cliffs the sun came out and it was quite warm and absolutely gorgeous to see the blue sky and the bleu see on the walk on the Cliffs.

The trip was fantastic and the cliffs were absolutely breathtaking! Our driver Gerry was so nice and lovely. He told us many interesting facts about the area and its history - but also jokes and sang a little! That was so lovely. We can highly recommend taking this trip with Wild Atlantic Way Day Tours.

This was a great tour led by Alan. He provided some good Irish music during the journey and some interesting facts about the cities we passed through on the coach. He allowed us a good amount of time at each destination and was mindful of other passengers' time. Highly recommend this tour if you're in Galway - the Burren was beautiful and the Cliffs of Moher did not disappoint! What a great day!

The best part of the tour was our driver/guide Peadar. You can always find a bus to take you around but a driver/guide as willing and enthusiastic to provide an excellent experience is not easy. Peadar went above and beyond what we could expect from a driver guide in many ways.

The tour is well designed and time management was never an issue. While the highlight of the tour was Cliffs of Moher, stops around the Burren and lunch break at Doolin was well worth it.

The tour involves driving relatively long stretches of country roads. Thus, a careful and experienced driver is a must. A big bus can get a bit bumpy and rocky on these roads. Our driver was well aware of this and was never too fast or abrupt in his driving.

Peadar was also very generous with sharing his knowledge and wisdom about Irish history and culture throughout the day. He also provided pro-tips at each of our stops. These little nudges made the tour considerably better. In my previous three visits to the cliffs I never knew I could borrow a pair of binoculars from the information desk, thanks Peadar.

All in all, this is a well designed day tour executed by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide.

We went to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren with Mike, the driver. He made the trip really interesting during the whole drive telling us facts and stories about Ireland, Galway and any other thing that he thought would interest us. We also made many stops for doing some photos and walk a bit during the 2:30 hours driving.

When we arrived to the Cliffs of Moher we had 2 hours of free time, walking around the cliffs and taking some photos. Finally, Mike took us to a great pub to enjoy a nice meal and we returned to Galway on a different route and with new stories.

The only part that I missed was having a little more time to enjoy the food at the pub. Other that that, highly recommended!!

Incredible! Gerry was a great guide! Despite the crazy weather, he still managed to make the trip fun and educational. I recommend to anyone who wants to see the coast through a comprehensive guided tour, but also on a budget. It was more difficult in some ways because I went in off season and many places were closed, but even so it was a great experience.

This was a terrific tour. The Cliffs did not disappoint. The weather was good and while there were a lot of people there, it's also quite spread out so we didn't feel crowded. The tour allowed 2 hours at the Cliffs, which was sufficient, but we could have stayed longer. Our driver Alan was fantastic -- funny and knowledgeable and knew not to talk to much. He pointed out and provided background on points of interest along the way, which helped us appreciate the trip more. There were some technical glitches with the microphone, but otherwise things went smoothly. We stopped at the Dungaire Castle, which was like an Irish castle out of central casting. However, the restrooms were only available if you went on a tour. A true restroom stop wasn't available until lunch in Doolin so you might want to skip that second cup of coffee in the morning. All in all, a great experience.

We really enjoyed our tour from Galway to the Cliffs of Moher. Our tour guide Mike was very friendly and knowledgeable, providing a wide range of details and information about the various places we visited throughout the course of journey.
We would definitely recommend this to anyone who is spending a few nights in Galway and is interested in learning about the Cliffs of Moher and the surrounding areas.

I'm glad we went with this tour as a way to see the cliffs. It gave us a few extra sights along the route that we wouldn't have seen otherwise and our tour guide Peadar had a lot of background info on the history of Ireland and the area that was very interesting. When we got to the cliffs we had a couple hours to explore which felt like a good amount of time to be able to see multiple areas of it. Overall I think this was a good deal and I'd recommend people who are looking to see the cliffs check it out.
