      A wonderful experience!
The entire day was fantastic! It was very well planned and organized, with the perfect amount of time at each stop (photo stops, cave tour, cliffs). John B was the BEST! He was so knowledgeable and helpful. We loved the added aspect of the cave tour at a super discounted rate. Would highly recommend this tour to anybody!

Nice trip. Driver could be friendlier.
Trip was good, but the driver was a bit unfriendly. We had enough stops. Driver gave insightful information about Galway and the area.

      Northwest Ireland experience
Great informative experience lead by driver and educator, Michael! He had many stories to add to the sights we saw and lead us to many photo opportunities! I highly recommend this company and the tours.

Great tour to Cliffs of Moher plus extras
It was a really nice and well organized trip. Mr. Joyce - the bus driver and guide - is a real entertainer. We visited multiple highlights besides the cliffs of Moher.

      Wonderful Experience
Highly recommend conducting this trip with Lally Tours. Our tour guide, John B, was absolutely wonderful, cracking jokes and informing us of unique Irish facts (did you know the term "eves-dropping" came from Ireland? Me neither!). It was a great day and I'm grateful to have had the chance to support a Mom and Pop company who allowed us to see the beauty of Western Ireland.

      Tour Along the Atlantic Way
This was a very structured point to point tour. We hopped on our bus in Galway, and our first stop was Dunguaire Castle for a few pictures. We then made our way up to Ailwee Cave. Here is an optional 30-minute guided tour of the cave along an improved path (costs extra). After this, we wound our way up the narrow, switchback roads to the Cliffs of Moher. This is a well known spot and the winds can be quite blustery so be careful near the edge. They have a neat visitor center with a 4D experience. Afterwards, we stopped at the Hotel Doolin for lunch. The food here was amazing! We then drove through the Burren with a stop along the coast. A barren, bizarre and intriguing landscape! Our driver, John B, was friendly and filled us with the history of Ireland, pointing out famine walls and cabins along our drive. This was a great tour for a first time visitor like myself.

The tour of the Wild Atlantic Way!
I was picked up at my Hotel by John B. which was Great because it was still rainy from the previous days storm. John did a fantastic job during the all day trip telling everyone about the history of Ireland and the scheduled and even unscheduled stops he squeezed in for us! This was my first trip to Ireland and I arrived in Galway from Dublin on the bus, so this tour was just perfect since I didn’t have a rental car. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough and especially John B. who could not have done a better job!

Incredible and Beautiful tour with Gerry
Gerry was an incredible tour guide for the Cliffs of Moher. Lally tours is definitely the best tour you can take from Galway, and I can't recommend it enough. Irish history is FASCINATING and Gerry shared the info beautifully. This tour was scenically my favorite. The Irish countryside is absolutely stunning. It felt magical and unreal. It was a cloudy and windy day for us, so I'd recommend checking the forecast, but honestly the weather added to the majestic nature of the views. So many good opportunities for pictures, and I learned so much. I enjoyed it so much I went out the next day for the Connemara tour. Such good fun, and I cannot commend Gerry enough!

Incredible and Beautiful tour with Michael
The Kylemore Abbey/Connemara tour was amazing. Michael was a wonderful tour guide who gave us plenty of time to explore, and provided really interesting historical insights. We were a small group, so he adjusted the tour accordingly to make it even more enjoyable. He clearly knows and loves Ireland well, and it showed. I had a great time and would go again. I highly recommend this tour to history enthusiasts, and people who aren't. Never a dull moment, and many opportunities for pictures.

      A beautiful day in Connemara
This was a wonderful trip with stunning views! The day started off rainy and foggy, and ended with sunshine. Both rain and shine, the hills and mountains were beautiful — and the Abbey too. The tour guides Michael & Andrew had a lot of great knowledge to share which made the trip even better. One of my favorite day trips I’ve taken.

Galway - Moher cliffs and more trip
I really enjoyed this trip. There was only about 15 people on the bus so plenty of room. Also our driver/guide, Gerry Sweeny, was so interesting- born story teller. As we drove along he told us all the history from druids vikings Henryviii to present day as well as many anecdotes - never boring!!! I learnt so much. And could listen to that Irish accent all day. We had plenty of time at Cliffs of Moher - stunning. Ailwee Caves stop fun and informative, and loved the time on way home exploring the rocky wild Burren landscape near the ocean - wonderful! And great lunch at Fitz's... quiet place - so glad we booked this trip!

Wonderful scenery and a learning experience at the same time.
Lovely day out on this tour yesterday. Even the weather co-operated. Gerry Sweeney, our Driver/Guide was 5 ☆☆☆☆☆. And SO very knowlegable about everything Irish....from the Druids and Celtic Crosses, through the Vikings, the geographical reasons the land is so harsh, the wars, the famine, the upkeep involved in owning a thatched cottage, the history of the Claddagh ring etc etc. So much to learn I almost wish we'd had time to do the tour again today.

We had a great time visiting the Cliff of Mohers. This tour is nice when you don't have the entire day to stay there. You'll arrive on time and be careful because the driver will also leave from the Cliffs on time ! We found it a little expensive because the driver is not guiding you at all or talking to you with some visitors informations. He'll only drive. And you won't have time to enjoy the Cliffs as well as the visitor centre.
Don't miss the visit of the Cliffs if you are in the area !

To be clear, this is simply a bus ride. There is no narration. The bus driver takes you to the Visitors Center and then two hours later drives you back to Galway. The Cliffs are beautiful to walk along, and the views are beautiful. Expect lots of wind. The visitors center is nice, The bathrooms were clean enough despite the crowds there. It seemed very, very expensive for the ride.

I wanted to see the cliffs without the additional stops that are typical with other tours and without the hassle of coordinating public transportation times. This half-day tour was perfect. We had 2 hours on our own at the cliffs. Note that given the time to walk from the parking lot to the visitors center to use the bathroom, walking to the start of the cliff viewing areas, and then returning to the parking lot, you have less than 2 hours for actually walking the cliff paths. I skipped the visitors center exhibit and the gift shop in order to spend maximum time on the paths. I did take time for lunch in the pleasant cafeteria. Plan accordingly - eat before the noon departure or pack snacks for the bus if you don't want to take time to eat at the cliffs. Lastly, be aware that the roads are narrow, winding, and hilly. Great scenery and our driver was very skilled, but if you are prone to motion sickness, some preventive measure may be a good idea. I overheard the driver tell a passenger that if she felt unwell on the return trip to let him know, and he would pull over for a short stop, so the drivers are aware that this may happen.

We did the Galway to Cliffs of Moher Half-Day Express trip in August of 2022. Basic service from Galway to the Cliffs. If you are prone to motion sickness, beware, the roads and windy and there is a lot of bus movement.
The Cliffs were a natural wonder. Climbing up to the south view point on a 30+ degree day was a bit of a challenge, but worth the effort.

Had an amazing trip today! This is exactly the kind of tour you need to book if you just want to spend some time at the cliffs of Moher. Our driver Peter gave some extra information on the surroundings during the trip, which made the drive very interesting.

I also want to thank our driver for being so kind when I got carsick today. He stopped the whole bus and made sure I was feeling better before continuing the journey. Thanks Peter!!

This was perfect! I didn’t want a 12 hour tour that also went to a castle or fishing village. I just wanted to go see the cliffs. The bus takes you there and brings you back, exactly like they say. No frills, no extras. I appreciate that there wasn’t a guide talking the entire way there or back. Just a few quiet hours to read a book or watch Netflix on the rides.

Going to the Cliffs of Moher was good . Driver was nice but he could have pointed things out or made recommendation. Bus was not great . It had some issues . We had the first tour , and the bus had not been cleaned from the night before. No trash, just not clean (not wiped down). Condensation caused dripping on your head in two rows. Wish we had more time than the 2 hours allowed at the park.

This tour was ideal because it didn't take up an entire day, I didn't have to navigate my way there, and it was just the right amount of time to take in the area independently. Our great driver, Frank, was very kind and offered a few suggestions. The weather cleared and we had a beautiful experience at the cliffs. One of the great things about this tour is that you are not part of a formal tour group, so you can explore as much as you want at your own pace. Lally Tours is efficient and employs friendly, helpful people. I highly recommend this tour.

The bus driver was very knowledgeable about every place we passed. He even gave us warnings for good photo spots along the way-so we could take photos from the bus too. This is definitely a good tour to see some landscape and to not be bogged down by a travel group.
