- Tatjana F0 contributionsAmazing, Fun, Informative Tour!!Amazing informative and enjoyable tour! I learned so much about Ireland and the places we visited, always appreciate learning more and Seamus was a great guide. I would definitely recommend this for all kinds of travelers, especially solo travelers. You’ll most likely leave with new friends and see fellow tourists in Galway following the tour :)Written 22 January 2025

His knowledge of the tour area was impressive and interesting. The drive was beautiful and we got to see so much of the Irish coast. Well worth your time.Written 21 January 2025
- markpM4462RO0 contributionsWe’re spending fourteen days traveling around Ireland. It’s off-season so there are no crowds. Our trip was great. The guide, Seamus, was a lot of fun. Very knowledgeable and full of great information. Certainly worth a visit.Written 21 January 2025
- ErinElizG10 contributionsGreat tour and guideTour was great. Our driver and tour Seasmus was awesome, he gave great history and information about the areas we were and made it fun and interesting, feel like I learned a lot. I liked how he laid out our itinerary and was very communicative about plans as we went along. Cliffs of Mohr was my favorite thing I saw on my trip to Ireland! The tour gives you plenty of time there. Going to the cave was okay and nice (very affordable) but wouldn’t do again, to me something I have seen and not unique to Ireland. Still fun and nice but not my favorite. That aside would recommend this tour to Cliffs of Mohr, thank you Seasmus.Written 20 January 2025
- ErinElizG10 contributionsGreat tourGreat tour, the castle was very nice and made some nice stops along the way with pretty views and able to take nice photos. Lorraine was great, made the tour fun and was funny! Really enjoyed her as our tour guide, she gave great recommendations locally. Would recommend this tour.Written 20 January 2025
- Tourist445597336500 contributionsLovely, relaxing day with Seamus and Lally toursYesterday, I joined Lally's Cliffs of Moher and The Barren, with guide/driver Seamus O. It was a terrific tour, and I enjoyed it immensely. Seamus is very knowledgeable, sharing local history, stories, jokes and some Irish folklore, throughout the journey. The coach was comfortable and clean, and Seamus manoeuvred the narrow winding roads perfectly. We were well informed as to timing at each stop to ensure a smooth overall day, and given plenty of time at each stop to explore, have lunch etc. The optional Aillwee Cave tour, in The Burren, is also excellent, so I recommend taking this option as well, which you can choose once arriving at the location. Overall a relaxing, lovely day. Thank you to Seamus for making it so enjoyable. Highly recommend!Written 18 January 2025

- axreiss0 contributionsA trip for everyone‘s bucket listFantastic Trip through an amazing country side. One of a kind nature, pitoresque little villages and as a Highlight Kylemore Abbey. Thank you also to Michael our host and driver, who shared so much knowledge about this part of Ireland, its people and history. Very pleassant.Written 16 January 2025
- centerfitk0 contributionsWorth every minute and every penny!First off, Gerry Sweeney was an amazing guide. We got to see much of Ireland and its local history through the eyes of someone who has lived it. He was funny and charming while keeping us on track and informed. I was worried about a long bus ride, but there were ample destinations to stop at! Wasn’t excited about the cave tour…UNTIL I DID IT! Wow! It was certainly a perfect day (not including the stop for lunch!)Written 15 January 2025
- lolapE7220GV0 contributionsPicturesque and informational tours! We went on day trips to Kylemore Abbey and the Cliffs of Moher while staying in Galway. We has the most amazing time. Both of our guides had really interesting information to share, we learned so much about the country of ireland itself and the histories of many stopping points on the way to and from. Got so many pretty pictures too!!! We highly recommend booking a tour with them and specifically Gerry!Written 15 January 2025

- lodial20250 contributionsA worthwhile tour by an organised and incredible team.John B and the team at Lally tours ensured that this tour ran like clockwork. We were able to explore the scenic sites leaving Galway city to The Burren was incredible. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side so we were unable to experience the magnificent views at Cliffs of Moher. However, John ensured to make the most of our tour by taking us to other sites along the way.Written 13 January 2025

This is a great way to get to the cliffs if you don’t want to take on the winding roads yourself. The cliffs are magnificent! This experience is exactly what it says it is—they drive you to the cliffs and that’s about it. Our driver didn’t talk at all during the drive which is okay—just know that you won’t be getting any talking or history from the driver before booking.
About half the people on our bus were feeling motion sick so beware if you are prone to motion sickness! The bus goes up and down on the windy roads. Personally felt very sick from it.

The stunning view of the cliffs was the best part of the tour. Our driver John was knowledgeable, fun, attentive, punctual, and made our experience unforgettable. Ordering lunch ahead made the day run even smoother than expected, and the beautiful stops between the cliffs and back were worth every moment spent. To top it off, I proposed to my fiancée at the cliffs and she fortunately said yes. This experience was nothing less than perfect.

Absolutely great trip! Barry was a great tour guide, told interesting and funny stories about Ireland the whole time and we learned a lot. Gabriel was also a fantastic driver and made sure the atmosphere in the bus was pleasant, which never worked on other tours. The tour is exactly as advertised, except that we only had 70 minutes at the Cliffs of Moher, but that was absolutely enough. We felt really comfortable and can recommend the tour without reservation ☺️

We had a great time visiting the Cliff of Mohers. This tour is nice when you don't have the entire day to stay there. You'll arrive on time and be careful because the driver will also leave from the Cliffs on time ! We found it a little expensive because the driver is not guiding you at all or talking to you with some visitors informations. He'll only drive. And you won't have time to enjoy the Cliffs as well as the visitor centre.
Don't miss the visit of the Cliffs if you are in the area !

Missed our original full day tour and booked in a pinch, did not disappoint! I would like to state that this is not a guided tour, only transport to the Cliffs of Moher. However, the driver was punctual, safe, and this tour provided about 2 hours of time to explore the Cliffs! We had a train to catch shortly after end time, punctuality was important to us and we couldn’t have asked for a better driving experience. The Cliffs themselves are beautiful and a must see in Ireland however if you are prone to motion sickness like myself please bring Dramamine as the winding roads are not easy even with the best driver. Bathroom on bus and bathrooms at Cliffs as well.

The cliffs are amazing! I didn’t want to drive in Ireland (left side, narrow roads etc) so this was a good compromise for us. Our driver was great. There was an accident on the road which was impassable so we (along with many other busses and cars) just had to wait for it to be cleared. Our driver talked to us and gave us Galway tips during our wait. He even dropped several off right at the train station on our way back so that they wouldn’t miss their trains.

Our tour with Lally was great! It was easy to book and to use our mobile tickets, and the bus left exactly on time from Galway and on the way back. Our driver was highly skilled and we felt very safe on the windy roads to the Cliffs. It’s not a guided tour, which was what we wanted, but our driver still gave us valuable information when we got there to give us a good experience. Highly recommend!

I can only recommend doing this "trip". Visiting the island is very impressive, and the cliffs are particularly impressive. The bus driver was great and drove along the coast for large parts of the route. Well worth seeing, I would do it again.

Bus was conveniently located and easy to find, was great to be able to sit back and enjoy the views on the way to the cliffs. Time spent at the cliffs is about two hours, which is plenty of time to explore the amazing views, visit the gift shops and grab a bite to eat. Tour will arrive back in Galway city with plenty of time to still explore the local area. Would definitely recommend this tour!

I noticed that you pick up from hotels. I am arriving on July 8th on cruise ship. What’s the closest place from the port that you could pick me up and what would be the best way to get there?
Thank you

Hello I'm looking to book the 1/2 tour to Cliffs of Moher and considering scheduling for June 22, 2022 . What time of day does this tour return to Galway? As we need to transport back to Dublin by train and the last train to Dublin is 19:20.

Hi, is this tour only available on a Saturday or Sunday?

We will be staying in Shannon area mid-August. We have a rental car. Is it better to drive to the cliffs by ourselves or take a group tour? Also what is the weather like in mid-August?

Hi, we need transfers for 6 people in Dublin to go to Galway, Cliffs of Moher and also Giants Causeway, could please send the info to my email

Dublin to Galway is easy if you don't have a car.. The train leaves from Dublin to Galway 4xs a days. It's just under 3 hours and is about 18eu one way. Shuttle buses from Galway bus station, in the middle of town will take you to the Cliffs or you can book a tour. When I went to the Giants' Causeway we took a car from Belfast, also a train ride from Dublin. If you are not driving, I suggest you book a tour. Be sure to take rain gear
