Amazing way to see Ireland in one day!
We had a fabulous tour with Barry and driver Fionn and highly recommend it! We arrived fresh from the airport after an overnight flight and this was the perfect way to see the Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands and Kinvara and Connemara. Barry is knowledgeable and we enjoyed his stories, music and energy! There were plenty of stops and we enjoyed a delicious lunch on Inisheer followed by a horse and buggy ride. A couple on our tour even got engaged which was so special! This was the perfect activity for our first day and Barry is a true gem.

Easy day tour with knowledgeable & lovely guide
Our family of three took Michael's tour from Galway to Connemara and Kylemore Abbey and had an amazing time. Michael was funny, kind, and punctual, and we thoroughly enjoyed our full day on the bus (which was very comfortable, I'd add). I'd highly recommend Lally Tours and Michael.

      Informative knowledgable trip
Mike was very knowledgeable about the local area and had obviously built good relationships with local people. There was an incident with a difficult driver which he handled with patience and tact. The only disappoint was that all the attractions in Cong were closed until April just to be aware of you are going earlier in the year

      A great day of exploring!
This was such a great way to see the Cliffs of Moher! We were initially disappointed that we couldn’t get a car, but we are so glad we were able to use this tour. John B was so friendly every time we got back on the bus, was very informative and helpful, and the day went by so quickly in the best possible way! We will definitely use this tour company again WHEN we return to Ireland!

      Great tour!
Great tour! Guide was knowledgeable and helpful with tips on how to make the best of your time at stops. I had a good time exploring the Castle and Gardens. We were given plenty of time to explore and this time of year there was very few tourists. Also, the views were beautiful from the bus so never a dull moment. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

      Awesome tour with Gerry!
We had an awesome experience with Lally Tours! We were picked up on a small bus by Gerry, who was amazing! Gerry kept us entertained during the drive with history, facts and information about the places we were visiting. This is an awesome tour that gives you the opportunity to go to the Ailwee Caves and make some fun stops along the way to the Cliffs!

Worth every penny!! Thx John B!
Wow, this was one of the most beautiful, educational, and fun tours I have ever been on. Our tour guide, John B., was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and passionate about the things he talked about. You can tell he really holds these things close to his heart. He went out of his way to talk about the local culture, events, and businesses. Furthermore, he made us feel extremely special. He took us to places and spots that weren’t in the original tour so we could run around and get photos all while making sure we stayed on time! Would 100% recommend !

This tour was amazing. Definitely the best bang for our buck. The tour guide really knew his stuff and the driver took us through some of the most incredible views I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m so glad we booked this. Visiting the island was one of my favorite experiences!

      Seamus best busdriver ever!!
I was very happy with my Trip. The Bus was cozy because of it's small size. Of course the cliffs of moher were spectacular. We especially were very entertaint by our bus driver Seamus Oak (James Junior). He was just really funny and always telling interesting storys about ireland, the history of ireland and the gaelic language. The tunes He was playing were a Highlight.

John B was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable and shared information for almost the entire trip, making the bus ride much more enjoyable. The first castle is a quick stop, you cannot go inside. The cave stop has amazing views and you can take a cave tour for 10 euro- well worth it! Then you get to the cliffs- the time given at the stop was the perfect amount. They have cafe with actual food and a visitors center with restrooms, history, gift shop, etc. When stopping in Doolin, I recommend walking the streets for a little- it's a scenic, quiet, lovely little town. Overall the tour was great; you stop about every 30 mins on the way there which helps. You see a lot without feeling rushed.

We went on the Burren and Cliffs of Mohr tour with John B as our driver/tour guide.
Despite the rather mixed weather, it was an excellent tour, starting and ending at Galway's main square, largely following The Wild Atlantic Way road, which, in places, took all the considerable skill of the driver who, despite the road conditions, kept up a fascinating and detailed commentary all the way, including the geography, the geology and the very relevant history of this area of Eire.
You could drive all this route in your car, but it is the tour guide who made it really special. He was an absolute gem and made our day one which we will remember for a long time . Thank you John B.
Hats off to Lally Tours who have refined this tour over a number of years to give their customers the best possible experience at a reasonable price. Thank you Lally Tours

Booking: We booked online 2 weeks in advance. Was easy to prepare for trip, find the bus, and check-in. This was our first tour bus experience in Ireland.
Itinerary: We enjoyed all of the stops: the castle, the caves (we sat out the cave tour, and just enjoyed the grounds and gift shop), the cliffs, and the Burren.
Lunch: Nice stop in Doolin. Unfortunately, one hour for lunch for everybody on the bus was tight (and was cut a bit short due to a passenger returning late to the bus at the Cliffs.) We got menus on the bus so we could plan what we wanted to order, but we only had about ten minutes to eat by the time our food came.
Bus: The bus is comfortable, the windows are tall so you can see well on both sides no matter which seat you are in. I am prone to motion sickness and had no trouble at all (without drugs). There was a bathroom on the bus I did not use, but also at most of our stops too. Felt safe leaving backpack on bus during hop-off stops.
Driver: John B was a good driver and articulate tour guide - we learned a lot and laughed too! Pacing was good with lots of info for the first half, and the return drive being quieter while listening to some Irish music.
Price: The price does feel a little steep considering lunch and cave tour (although discounted) are not included. Bring cash to tip your driver at the end.

Our family of 7 took the Cliffs of Moher and Burren day trip from Galway in November 2024, and it was a wonderful experience. We started our journey from Dublin, with smooth and convenient transfers arranged by Lally Tours via Citylink.

Our driver and guide, John B., was outstanding. His knowledge of the area, Irish history, and culture brought each stop to life, from the Dunguaire Castle to the otherworldly landscapes of the Burren. He was attentive and entertaining, sharing fascinating stories and helpful tips along the way, which really enhanced our experience.

The stops were well-paced, allowing us to fully enjoy each location. Aillwee Cave was a unique addition, and Doolin was a charming village where we had a relaxing lunch with delicious local food at Fitzpatrick's Bar. Of course, the Cliffs of Moher were the highlight, and the views were absolutely breathtaking!

Overall, the trip was well-organized, and John B.’s expertise made it even more special. Highly recommend Lally Tours for anyone looking to explore the beautiful west coast of Ireland!

It was exactly what we were expecting. Nothing more nothing less. John B was a fantastic driver-guide. Although he shared his stories only while we were going by bus, he was extremely informative and talked A LOT. I have no idea how it is possible to talk so much and keep up with the timings as we pass by the objects, and drive in complete precision, but i suppose this is what it is called experience. The only downfall was that even though we got menu for lunch beforehand (which was convenient as it sped up things at the restaurant), the prices on the menu we got on the bus were outdated and we payed at least 4€ per meal per person more than we expected. I don't know if it is just a human error or a good business strategy, but of course no one was pushing us to have lunch at the restaurant. We could've just skipped it.

We were planning on driving ourselves but after a day of driving to another site, we were totally stressed out about driving on these narrow roads so Lally to the rescue. We got on their website and found availability for the next morning and booking was very easy. The bus was clean and comfortable. The lining up to get onboard was a bit chaotic but eventually everyone got on. If not, they send another one right away so no problem. Our driver Gerry, who doubled as the guide, provided a lot of interesting and informative history about Ireland. He played music here and there to give people a break from listening to history and him, which was quite amusing. The itinerary was just about the right pace. Cliffs of Moher and the Aillwee Cave were the highligh. Overall this is a well-run tour so leave the driving to the professional! Highly recommend this full day tour.

This was such a great tour. Our driver John B guided us throughout the entire journey telling us the history and fun facts about the things we saw along the drive. We did the optional caves tour which was very interesting and cost an extra €10. Unfortunately we didn't get to stop at Dunguaire castle due to road construction but we still got a close up view from the bus. Our driver recommended a restaurant where we stopped for lunch and the food was amazing, smoked salmon, oysters and seafood chowder.

Had a wonderful time with my family of 6 on this tour. Kids were 10 and under and did very well which I think was attributed to the frequent stops in the tour to get out and walk around. John B was nothing short of extraordinary as he was knowledgeable and solicitous of everyone’s welfare. He wins an award for driving this massive coach bus on very narrow roads while chatting about the history of the area. He also was very clear about expectations for the group to prevent conflict: we would all be in same seats for whole trip unless arrangement made between parties and we were expected to be on time returning to bus. For our family the 75 -90 minutes at the cliffs of mohr was more than enough, but for those who want to spend more time there then I would suggest an alternative. The lunch at Fitzpatrick’s pub on way home was bit rushed, no fault of John B, but some stragglers did not return to bus on time and the restaurant was slow to bring out food. All in all was a great way to cover a lot of ground, see the breathtaking views and avoid driving on treacherous roads !

Had a great tour with Sean S (driver/guide) to Cliffs of Moher and the Burren plus a couple of stops.Sean was a skilled driver and SUPER knowledgeable about things on the tour. He added tour commentary where appropriate. We never felt that he was talking to hear himself. Driving skills are essential when going to Cliffs, so we were able to feel safe the whole trip.
The Cliffs of Moher are spectacular and worth seeing. We also did Aillwee caves and found it to be fun take for 10 euro. Anything beyond that would not have found worthwhile. USA has plenty of high quality cave tours.
Burren was quite interesting to look and walk on. Better than expected.
Lally needs to enforce cruise ship rules re:late returners tho. We were 20-25 min late due to missing people people. A 10-15 min grace is max they should allow.
All in all, recommend this tour and driver.

This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip to Ireland! It is a long day trip on a bus, but well worth it for the views we got to see. We first got to see the Dungarie Castle, next we stopped at the Ailwee Caves which was super cool and we got discounted tickets through this tour! After the caves, we headed to the Cliffs of Moher which was spectacular! Our tour guide and bus driver was John B and he was fantastic. He gave us a lot of information about each attraction and he even gave us information along the drive that only locals would most-likely know. 10/10 recommend doing this if you are looking to see tons of attractions and sight-seeing all in one day tour. Thanks John B!!!
