This was the best cost to fun ratio excursion for a solo traveler, and an efficient way to see some of the coolest attractions in the area. Our guide, who's name escapes me, was an absolute delight. A wisened Irishman, he detailed intimate knowledge of every location with excellent storytelling and good humor.

The cave is enjoyable, and a fun detour, yet not too significant if you've been cave dwelling many times before.

While the Cliffs are the main attraction, it is packed with tourists, so it's hard to enjoy them for their beauty with all the incredible noise pollution. Oh well, there's still plenty of cows to gawk at that everyone seems to be ignoring. I recommend climbing the tower steps for a unique view of the Cliffs through the battlements.

The Burrens were my personal favorite. Like walking on the lunar surface, the rocky gray lands are full of an alien-like beauty. Highly underrated.

Loved this day. It was very full with all the driving and 3 major stops (Caves, cliffs and castles) but totally worth it. We had John as the tour guide and he was phenomenal. His knowledge and stories of Ireland were incredible and very entertaining. The only downside was the weather was very hit or miss and the group was very large (40 or so). I would recommend paying a bit more if it means a smaller group and therefore more intimate experience. John kept us very on time and had good recommendations for lunch restaurants and fun facts of all the places/towns we passed

I would definitely recommend this tour as a chance to see several sites of Natural beauty. You also get the chance to see history on the landscape that would probably not be available to see any other way except by car from destination to destination.

While Ailwee caves are not included in the tour, the cost to go in is really reasonable and can be decided when you arrive. The restaurant at Doolin serves some really nice food and brews their own beer.

This tour was a really good experience. John our guide and driver was a great host. He was really passionate about Irelands history and gave us information on the sights we passed.

I had never been to Aillwee Cave. We had discounted tickets as part of the tour and had time to explore the cave with an informative guide. It was much bigger than I expected and easy enough to navigate safely. The story of how it was accidentally discovered by a farmer looking for his lost sheepdog is amazing- especially that he told no one about it for over 30 years. Also amazing was the Cliffs of Moher. I had been there in 1975 when there was nothing but the cliffs - and feared that development and tickets and shops etc might be tacky - I was pleasantly surprised at how tastefully it has been turned into a geopark. The shop, cafe, and especially an experiential tour in the building are well worth takig some time to explore, with lots of information and videos. you can even take a picture of yourself on the cliffs in front of a greenscreen and email it to a friend. Happily, they now have carts to bring people who need them up and down the hill to the top. The friendly woman who drove my cart is off to Everest Base Camp next spring. I found the staff of Lally's very helpful. My first choice tour had been cancelled, and they readily changed me to this one. I will come back for the other one next time!

A highly enjoyable day seeing the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, going into the Aillwee Cave, lunch in Doolin, and stopping at Dunguaire Castle. What really enhanced the Lally Tour experience was our driver, Gerry. He provided excellent insight and background to all that we saw while on this tour. Witty and concise in his comments, he totally enhanced what was an incredible day on the West Coast of Ireland. We certainly appreciated his driving skills! Based on this tour, I would definitely recommend Lally Tours and hopefully I will get another opportunity to use them in the future.

John was an excellent tour guide. He gave cohesive and interesting explanations of everything we saw while also safely driving a huge bus through narrow streets- it was very impressive! The tour flowed naturally and when he wasn’t talking we got to listen to some traditional Irish music. Not a minute was wasted on this tour. Lunch was a bit late because that was what worked best for the schedule but Fitzpatrick’s Bar was delicious. Our honeymoon was 2 weeks long so we went on a lot of tours, but John was easily our favorite tour guide. We highly recommend booking a tour with him and Lally Tours!

We enjoyed the day bus trip from Galway to Cliffs of Maher today with bus driver and guide John B.
John is a walking talking library with great commentary about interesting facts and a tad of history throughout the tour. Such a good lunch with local delicacies were offered and served promptly. We learn so much about the location that would never be written up in travel guides. He loves the area, the fishermen, the boats, the locals and knows all about the local traditions and artists. In addition he is a very good driver, we felt safe on those narrow windy roads and managed our expectations and time very well. I would be very happy to recommend this tour with John B. It did help that we had quite decent weather.

We were picked up at 930am to start our 8 hour tour. Our driver John was super informative throughout the duration of the ride. You can tell the man knows what he is talking about. The cave tour was about 35 minutes and a nice chance to stretch the legs. Our group even got a discounted rate on the cave entry fee (€8 down from €24!) We had about 1 hour and 45 mins at the Cliffs of Moher, which proved enough time for the wife and I to hike up the left path a good distance. We also went down the right path and went up the tower and got a whole bunch of pictures throughout. Even had time to stop and get some trinkets and a hot chocolate. Lunch was a welcome addition to the tour as we didnt have to sacrifice precious time at the Cliffs for food. I had the fish & chips while the wife had the Guinness beef stew. We both washed it down with a local Doolen Blonde Ale. Afterwards, we stopped along the coast one last time to take in the waves rocking against the cliffside and yet again more picture. This was our favorite tour during our 10 day stay in Ireland!

Our day with tour guide and driver, John, was exactly as promised! It was an amazing day day, enhanced by Johns detailed knowledge and descriptions of the area. John is so friendly and personable. It is clear he truly enjoys shoring his love of Ireland with visitors. The caves were spectacular! And the discount offered to us because of our tour was well worth it. Of course the cliffs of moher were amazing and John prepared us well, with tips for crowd avoidance, optimal photo opportunities and best use of time. And lunch was amazing, just as John said it would be! He is so well organized and thorough that the day went very smoothly with no hitches. We highly recommend using Lally for these local Galway visits. The price was excellent and the day everything we hoped for!

Was an excellent tour. Our bus driver John got us everywhere on time all while telling us about the history, culture and geography of everywhere we drove through on the way. All the stops were worth every penny in my opinion and if I come back I’ll definitely want to book with them again if this is the standard they bring.
