Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher Day Trip from Galway including Cliffs of Moher Cruise
Save money by packing in a ton of attractions on a trip to the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands that includes entrance fees, ferry tickets, and round-trip transport. Your guide knows the best ways around Ireland and brings you safely across the Wild Atlantic Way—a notoriously difficult-to-navigate route—in any type of weather, leaving you free to enjoy the scenery.
What to Expect
Your Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher tour starts with a pickup from Galway. Once you board your coach for the day, get ready for an adventure through Ireland.

Travel down the Wild Atlantic Way and through Clarenbridge, Kilcolgan, Ballindereen, Kinvara, and Ballyvaughan as your guide tells you stories about the area’s history.

Arrive in Doolin, and catch a ferry to the Aran Islands. Your ferry stops at Inisheer, one of the smallest Aran Islands. Enjoy some free time exploring, and pop into a local eatery for lunch if you'd like (own expense).

Then on the return ferry to Doolin, take in stunning sights of the Cliff of Moher from the boat. Back on land, follow your guide to the summit of the Cliffs of Moher to catch even more views from the top of the cliffs.

Your tour ends with a drop-off back in Galway.

Great Tour, Excellent Guide

We booked this kind of last minute while in Galway, and we're so glad we did. Peter was our driver/guide, and he was fantastic! We learned so much more than we would have if we'd driven to Doolin or the Cliffs of Moher on our...More

Fantastic scenery - Great Driver/Guide

So much more relaxed and informative than self-driving, we were able to relax and enjoy the incredible scenery and leave driving down narrow roads, etc in the safe hands of our very entertaining and informative guide, Damien. The trip was a great balance of independent...More

Amazing Tour

So glad we took this tour and did not try to drive to the cliffs. Our driver, John, kept us entertained with great stories and made sure to stop for some great photo-ops along the way.

Great tour!

I was a little hesitant to book a tour, as I didn't know what to expect. Peter was a great guide full of knowledge and pride of his home. His energy and humor made the trip! Once we arrive on Inisheer (the smallest of the...More

Peter made the trip

It was a good way to start off the trip guessing one of Peter's main questions and completely throwing off his schedule. We've been on many tours of Ireland, and even multiple through the cliffs, but none of the tours have been as amazing as...More

Children perhaps; not sure that it would be enjoyable or safe for an infant. We were always extra cautious when it came to boat travel with an infant who could not swim. There are two crossings that are done in a relatively... More

I don't remember The Wild Atlantic Tour Company's exact wording, but I'm sorry that it confused you. Actually with the mudslides and sheer height of the Cliffs, I don't think that anyone is allowed to climb from sea level up... More

There are two boat rides: Doolin to Inish Orr (direct) and Inish Orr to Doolin via the Cliffs. If I remember correctly, the longer ride via the Cliffs was about 45 minutes. It is the Atlantic Ocean so it can get choppy, but... More
