Cliffs of Moher Day Trip from Galway
From US$35.94
Overview
The roads leading to the UNESCO-listed Cliffs of Moher, located in the rugged Burren National Park, are notoriously difficult to navigate. Let a driver escort you to the landmark in comfort and safety on this stress-free day trip, ideal for visitors short on time. Plus, booking ahead guarantees your spot on this Cliffs of Moher tour from Galway. Convenient round-trip transport and entrance fees are included.
What to Expect
Your Cliffs of Moher tour starts with pickup from Galway. Once you board the climate-controlled coach, you'll travel through some of Ireland’s most beautiful countryside.

Your first stop is at Dunguaire Castle in Kinvara for a quick photo op. Make your way through Burren National Park as your guide tells you all about the area and its history.

Next is a look at the Celtic crosses in Kilfenora before stopping for lunch (own expense) in Doolin.

Your last stop of the day is at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Cliffs of Moher. Enjoy about two hours leisurely exploring the cliffs at your own pace. Take in sights of the Atlantic Ocean near the cliffs before getting back in your bus for the ride back to Galway.

Your tour ends with a drop-off in Galway.

Crammed and hot bus.

Worst tour I've been on. The bus seats have less leg room than a discount airline. The driver narrates while driving. The bus was so hot and jammed full of people both my husband and I got car sick. To add to the experience, the...More

Fantastic!

What a great day! Eamon (sp?) was our fantastic guide who enhanced our tour by telling us so many tales of folklore related to each site. As we approached the Cliffs, the visibility was poor and Eamon had the entire bus blow the clouds away....More

From Athlone to Galway the drive will take you an hour but not sure about parking in Galway as it might be difficult to park near the station where you take the tour bus to the Cliffs. You could take bus eireann from the... More
