This tour was perfect. Tommy, our guide, was delightful. He was funny, charming and historically informative. The sites were breathtaking and it was a once in a lifetime experience. We just loved it. The drop off and pick up was convenient and easy to get to by train. We totally enjoyed ourselves and we highly recommend this company and especially riding with Tommy.

We had a great day at Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. Tommy was our guide and driver and was fun, friendly and very informative. We had a delicious lunch at a local pub and made a couple sightseeing stops on the way. It was a perfect day!

I was really looking forward to visiting this place, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The service was slow, and the staff seemed disorganized. The food arrived cold, and the flavors were bland. I also noticed that the cleanliness of the place could be improved, which made me uncomfortable. Considering the price, I felt that the quality was not up to standard. I brought up my concerns, but the staff didn’t seem too interested in resolving the issue. I wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t be coming back.

The Cliffs and the Burren are both well worth the drive from Galway - especially THIS drive from Galway. Very comfortable, elevated buses with large windows, and almost constantly something interesting/beautiful to see. But the "secret sauce" is the driver, Tommy. A natural entertainer and storyteller who just happens to know loads of Irish history. Oh, and also how to thread a huge bus through narrow, twisty roads.

The guide was so knowledgeable and detail driven, he showed us many hidden gems, as well as the insights only from locals, you can tell he loves what he do, is proud of his town and his country. Though it was a full bus he tried hard to make everyone enjoyed! Never a dull moment! Highly recommend for going on this tour if you don’t know where to go!

Dave was an amazing bus driver, tour guide, DJ, and comedian! He was very informative but not too talkative. He made an effort to get to know everyone on the tour. The Cliffs were amazing from the water and land and the Aran Island was such a unique experience. The weather was great so we had no issues with the boat ride. We did self guided bike tour on the island with bike company Dave recommended. And he gave suggestions at each site as to what he would do. Would highly recommend Galway Tour Comoany. We’ve never left a review like this before but this was an amazing trip for our whole family. We took another tour earlier on our trip with another tour company and the guide was very pushy about leaving a review (that he wouldn’t get work without good reviews, etc) Dave was just a classy fun guy. He mentioned leaving a review but we wanted to let everyone know what a great guide he was.

Tommy was an excellent bus driver / tour guide! We learned more from him about Galway and Ireland history than on our walking tour in Galway. He kept us entertained (ton of laughter on the bus). The island is small and they do offer “add-on” services on the island (I.e. mini bus, horse and carriage, biking) for additional fee. We took the mini bus around the island, which was warm :) and informative, yet finished an hour before departure. Although you can go to the hotel pub during that time, next time we’d probably opt for horse or bike for a lil slower experience. This is about a 10 hour experience so prepare yourself. You will be taken to a pub for a late lunch (3-4pm) after visiting the island and boat tour by the cliffs. If you tend to get hangry, bring a snack. You can leave bags on the bus with Tommy if you prefer. Overall, highly recommend.

Tommy was an informative and welcoming guide. He went above and beyond to provide an alternative when my friend didn’t want to do cliffs of moher boat trip. There was a range of options to see Innisheer. We opted for the horse and cart but other options such as mini bus and bike would also be good to see the main sites in around an hour.

We took this tour as travelers who had already been to many of the sights visited and we loved having Anthony as our tour guide! He had great narration during our drives and kept everyone on schedule. It was great to just hop off and enjoy each of the sights on our own and even stop at a local pub for lunch. The tickets included entry to the Cliffs of Moher so you could just get off and enjoy. I would definitely recommend Galway Tour Company (and Anthony!) for any tours.

Tommy is the best tour guide around! He was so insightful, knowledgeable, and the kind. He lead us through an amazing tour all around galway county and we got to see fascinating sites and eat delicious food all at a great and affordable rate. Take this tour, you won’t regret it!

Anthony was an excellent tour guide! Very funny and clear communicator. He kept us on schedule and made sure we never missed the ferry. Overall, made new friends, saw amazing views, and created lifelong memories.
