Alan was enthusiastic, engaging and inclusive in his approach - he made sure to vary the speed in which he spoke depending on the students’ level and kept them interested with anecdotes and a pop quiz. I would recommend Alan to all teachers of French - our students had a fantastic day out in Dublin and returned home with more confidence in their French. We will definitely be back next year Alan! We booked a guided tour with Allan and lucky for you, the other planned group cancelled their tour and we enjoyed a private tour. Allan is a very nice person and easy contact. The visit with him turned into a stroll with a lot of exchanges on all subjects because beyond his Guide baggage, Allan has an extensive culture allowing pleasant exchanges. He knows how to put himself within reach of his interlocutors and even our 12-year-old daughter enjoyed the visit. We highly recommend it.

Walking tour of Dublin centre to recommend absolutely! I am French and have only been living in Dublin for a few months, so when my friends decided to visit me here I wanted to organise a (real) visit, with someone who really knows the city. This tour was just perfect, it allows to see the center of Dublin from another angle and Alan (the Guide) really personalized this tour for the French. Alan is familiar with the city's history and storytelling, making the 3H tour culturally enriching and fun at the same time. Without a doubt, this tour will be my number 1 activity for all my French visits here in Dublin!

We had a great time with Alan: he is not only friendly, listening to all our questions, but he is also exciting and makes us want to learn even more!
We travelled through Dublin in a different way, deepening the history of the city, the country, all accompanied by little anecdotes that only an Irishman can tell us ☺️
We recommend it 200%!!

Nice experience as this guided tour of Dublin with Alan. We were a small group, so the visit was both cultural and historical, but also illustrated by anecdotes that allowed us to understand the evolution of Irish society. Alan is an open, attentive, dynamic person; a storyteller, to which is added his little Irish accent! Thank you Alan for this moment of sharing that I would obviously recommend!

A fantastic senior year school tour with Alan. He brought Dublin to life with his interesting and fun facts and stories while also linking Ireland to France. All students loved the trip including the more reluctant learners. Alan ensured he adapted his content according to all student levels and kept their interest with pop quizzes and a prize.
He recommended we visit Ladurée bloulangerie which was la cerise sûr le gateau. Merci merci merci.🇫🇷
A trip with Dublin à Pied will tick all the TY new dept plans for 2025. 😉. Ill be back for sure next year.

To discover absolutely!!! Unusual walking tour of the city hyper interesting with a nice mix of History (Vikings, music, writers, royalty, vestiges, religion, myths...), funny and / or surprising Irish anecdotes, customs and customs, links with England and France, commented in French by a Dubliner, there is something for absolutely everyone and we are not bored. To complete everything, Alan's hint of humor, accent and good humor make this visit very pleasant and lively. Looking for a Guide Tour off the beaten track? It is a beautiful discovery, I recommend it without hesitation! As for Alan, I sincerely wish him every success, he is in his element:D

We had a private guided tour with Alan in July with my husband and 2 daughters aged 17 and 12.
Alan is fluent in French so everybody definitely made the best of the visit.
We all found it very interesting and helpful to understand the Irish culture and history. It was the perfect introduction to our 2 weeks roadtrip in Ireland.
Alan took us to a selection of spots, sharing at each stop some interesting insights and anecdotes.
He gave us time to take pictures and the walk was very pleasant.
At the end of the visit, I had 2 questions for Alan that had to do with our trip in Ireland but not specifically with Dublin. Since he didn't have the answers right away, he came back to me the next day by email to share his answers. This was truly appreciated.

A very interesting tour of Dublin with our Guide Alan. Lots of information as much historical as about the life of the Irish. It does not skimp on explanations you will learn a lot. He is an Irish speaking very good French, he is a very friendly contact. It can give you advice and tips for other outings (pubs etc..) especially to avoid places too touristy. So we really recommend this tour with Alan
