Kevin, our tour guide, was an absolute gent! Fountain of knowledge but not boring at all! He knew when to go into further detail and when to get us going again. Kevin was an extremely personable guy and spent a lot of time during food stops chatting to people 1:1 advising on great places to try during the rest of our stay.
There was no pressure to buy at any of the stops but if you do you will still only spend maybe €5-7 a stop, but Kevin encourages you to share portions with a partner. The last stop gave free samples which was a lovely surprise!!
After the tour Kevin walked us to a previous pub we had been shown so we didn’t waste time wandering!
We were a group of 10 adults aged 28+

A great way to explore the city, snack and get your steps in! I highly recommend xx

My wife and I along with are two kids did this tour and it was very well done. Kevin and his wife (Aoife) did an excellent job on this food tour. This food tour is unique as you’re only paying for Kevin’s expertise. You’re not paying for food you may or may not like. At each stop Kevin makes a recommendation for food. It’s up to you as to how many servings you buy. For us we split a couple of serving between us and our kids. Had we all got a single serving it would have been too much food and a waste of money.

There were five stops total, three savory and two sweet. All of Kevin’s recommendations were spot on. In between stops Kevin would provide some history about Ireland and point out significance buildings and places. This alone is worth the price. Kevin was extremely personable and knowledgeable. Aoife was wonderful with our kids and did a great job keeping the group together in the crowded Dubin streets. They’re two locals that are passionate about Ireland and sharing it with the world. I highly recommend this tour and look forward to returning for the beer tour.

This was such a wonderful experience! Kevin is so knowledgeable about the city and provided a perfect balance of history, culture, and tasty food recommendations. He was also incredibly gracious with his time and tips, and answered countless questions about what to do elsewhere in Ireland, where to eat, what the drink, etc.

I really liked that the food wasn’t picked out and portioned for us and that we could ultimately choose what to get at each stop (highly recommend going with Kevin’s suggested bites!). Participated solo and this was a fun way to meet some fellow travelers from around the world. Overall a perfect day exploring and learning about Dublin!

This food walking tour is what foodie dreams are made of. It's been two weeks, and I'm still thinking about the amazing food we had, especially the fish and chips. I loved that we got to experience truly great food that locals would actually enjoy. Kevin was so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. He took us to amazing spots, but also recommended some other great restaurants, pubs, and historical sites to check out around the city, too. This tour was one of our biggest highlights of Dublin; so glad we did this and would recommend it to anyone who's wanting to experience great Irish food!

This was a phenomenal food tour! Kevin was an amazing guide. Unlike other food tours that include food in your payment, you do pay for your own food. However, with those they usually choose what you have to eat for you. With Kevin, there are 5 stops and outside of each he gives a little history of the area and background of the shop. And then he gives recommendations of what you should get, but by no means do you have to follow them. Which is nice that you have a choice. I followed all of them anyways and he did not steer us wrong! This is a great tour to do if you’re just starting your trip to help get familiar with the Dublin area and Kevin is happy to make recommendations after the tour if you need guidance on what to do for your trip.

DO IT! You will not regret it! We booked this walking food tour for a lovely Sunday activity as part of our Hen weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it! Kevin is the most perfect guide; friendly, passionate and enthusiastic about all things food, Dublin and tourism! He also spoke about the history of the area and iconic buildings as well as food and drink, a great alternative compared to sitting on a smelly bus getting travel sick around the city! It was great to get some fresh air and some much needed steps. The walk is not strenuous, plenty of opportunities to sit down at locations plus public spaces. Toilets available throughout and no obligation to purchase food or drink, though our group bought something at every location. Support this lovely man and his great small business idea! Naomi from Bristol 😄

This tour was FANTASTIC! Kevin is funny, down to earth and a wealth of knowledge. He opened our world to the best hole-in-the-wall food treasures of Ireland and gave a fun and engaging historical tour at the same time. We were a family of 4 with 2 kids ages 9 and 12. We all LOVED the food and enjoyed lots of laughs along the way. Don’t miss this amazing experience.

We were in Dublin for four days and the Walking Food Tour was one of our absolute highlights. The food-sports on the tour are chosen with so much care. We were able to try a great mix of different, authentic and super delicious foods and there was a little background story for each dish / restaurant. In addition, Kevin and Aoife told us a lot about Dublin and its history.
Although we had already seen a lot of Dublin the days before, we learned some new features and insider information on the tour, which are a nice addition to the usual tourist information that you get.
If you are on vacation in Dublin I would recommend doing the Walking Food Tour at the beginning. You get so many helpful tips for sights, restaurants, pubs etc. Since we were only in Dublin for one day after that, we were a little sad not to be able to try out all the tips.
Kevin and Aoife are so personable, open and nice and they made us feel welcome right from the start.
Thank you both for the great experience. We will definitely be back to Dublin, next time we will do the Walking Beer Tour 😉

We did this tour on our first day in Dublin and I cannot image a better introduction into the city and its food and pub culture.
Kevin told a lot of colorful stories during the tour, not only about the food but also the history of some of the places we visited and Dublins history in general. The food was absolutely delicous (some places we would not have found on our own) and each location is picked because of its specialities.
During and at the end of the tour Kevin also provided a lot of recommendations for further activities, good places to eat and pubs to visit.

This was the first booked activity we did on our visit and we have no regrets. I was a little sceptical about whether or not it'd be enough food to sustain the rest of our day but wow, you definitely want to do this on an empty stomach. It was a great introduction to the city with a lot of contemporary context and knowledge of the area. The food was great too, so much so we went back to some of the places throughout the duration of our trip. This was an epic food day for us.
