This is a small tour run by a husband and wife duo. Kevin, our guide, was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and kind. It’s immediately obvious how passionate he is about what he does and has a wonderful lively energy! He took us to spots I truly don’t believe we could have found on our own while also giving other excellent recommendations along the way. The food was wonderful! I was on the tour with 2 other friends, which I’d recommend because then we could take turns purchasing the food and sharing even more options. I loved the flexibility of not having a fixed menu for the tour. Thanks so much for this wonderful experience! I would highly recommend it (& suggest going on the start of your trip if possible so you have time to go back to favorite stops!)

After getting the Dublin pass (a must if you plan on seeing everything in the city), we decided that the waking food tour sounded fun, but we didn’t realize that this would be one of the best highlights of our trip to Dublin. I’ve taken a lot of tours in a lot of different cities all over the world, and can confidently say that Kevin is by far the most genuine guide I’ve ever had. Not only is he extremely knowledgable and leads a fun tour, he is committed to the community and takes you to all the local hidden gems on the tour, all the while giving wonderful information about the city and its history. The food was so tasty and everywhere we went was delicious; I recommend taking Kevin’s recommendations for what to order at each stop as he is not wrong at all! Kevin taught us how to order like a local everywhere we went and just made everything extremely enjoyable. He also gave us a bunch of pub recommendations that we ended up trying out later, which were all great calls. Thanks again Kevin for a wonderful time and if anyone reading this is hesitant on taking the tour, I would 11/10 do this!

We were in Dublin for four days and the Walking Food Tour was one of our absolute highlights. The food-sports on the tour are chosen with so much care. We were able to try a great mix of different, authentic and super delicious foods and there was a little background story for each dish / restaurant. In addition, Kevin and Aoife told us a lot about Dublin and its history.
Although we had already seen a lot of Dublin the days before, we learned some new features and insider information on the tour, which are a nice addition to the usual tourist information that you get.
If you are on vacation in Dublin I would recommend doing the Walking Food Tour at the beginning. You get so many helpful tips for sights, restaurants, pubs etc. Since we were only in Dublin for one day after that, we were a little sad not to be able to try out all the tips.
Kevin and Aoife are so personable, open and nice and they made us feel welcome right from the start.
Thank you both for the great experience. We will definitely be back to Dublin, next time we will do the Walking Beer Tour 😉

This food walking tour is what foodie dreams are made of. It's been two weeks, and I'm still thinking about the amazing food we had, especially the fish and chips. I loved that we got to experience truly great food that locals would actually enjoy. Kevin was so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. He took us to amazing spots, but also recommended some other great restaurants, pubs, and historical sites to check out around the city, too. This tour was one of our biggest highlights of Dublin; so glad we did this and would recommend it to anyone who's wanting to experience great Irish food!

This tour is absolutely worth your time. Kevin is knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining and sincerely wants you to enjoy the experience as well as promote the businesses in the area. The tour gives you some history on the area as well as the food. The cost of the tour doesn’t cover the food you eat but you’ll still spend less than most other tours as the cost at each venue is really great value. Kevin will also give you a heads up on what to order and what the portion sizes to expect. We did both the walking food and the walking drink tours and thoroughly enjoyed both.
I’d recommend doing it at the beginning of your trip as you’ll get lots of information and tips that’ll help with the rest of your trip.

Irish history is fascinating and Kevin brings it to life as he leads you around old Dublin Town. At the beginning of the tour he lets you know there will be a lot of walking but you really don’t realize it because of what you are seeing and the history behind it as described by Kevin. His wife Aoife provides color commentary on a one on one basis. Like her husband she is super knowledgeable and helpful. I got a lot out of this tour and i would highly recommend it whether you are a history buff or not.

DO IT! You will not regret it! We booked this walking food tour for a lovely Sunday activity as part of our Hen weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it! Kevin is the most perfect guide; friendly, passionate and enthusiastic about all things food, Dublin and tourism! He also spoke about the history of the area and iconic buildings as well as food and drink, a great alternative compared to sitting on a smelly bus getting travel sick around the city! It was great to get some fresh air and some much needed steps. The walk is not strenuous, plenty of opportunities to sit down at locations plus public spaces. Toilets available throughout and no obligation to purchase food or drink, though our group bought something at every location. Support this lovely man and his great small business idea! Naomi from Bristol 😄

This was a phenomenal food tour! Kevin was an amazing guide. Unlike other food tours that include food in your payment, you do pay for your own food. However, with those they usually choose what you have to eat for you. With Kevin, there are 5 stops and outside of each he gives a little history of the area and background of the shop. And then he gives recommendations of what you should get, but by no means do you have to follow them. Which is nice that you have a choice. I followed all of them anyways and he did not steer us wrong! This is a great tour to do if you’re just starting your trip to help get familiar with the Dublin area and Kevin is happy to make recommendations after the tour if you need guidance on what to do for your trip.

100% recommend this lovely little walk through Dublin. Kevin is the consummate host; warm, interesting, knowledgable, considerate and you can tell has a real passion for not just Dublin itself, but also the subtle art of guiding.
The food was great, myself and the girlfriend really enjoyed it all, there wasn’t a single bad option. Though we ate everything, we also appreciated the fact that Kevin had very thoughtfully made all of the culinary choices optional. Not just from a taste standpoint, but also from a budgetary one, as this made the tour more affordable for the average customer. Which, if you do the research, you’ll find Kevin’s is more than fairly priced in comparison to the alternatives.
The walk itself is perfectly timed, with it not feeling too long or too short. It takes you through the best parts of Dublin to see on foot, so not only do you get to know more about the food, but also an in depth adventure into Dublin’s history too. As an Irish native, even I was impressed by Kevin’s knowledge and I found out many new things about not just the city but also the country as a whole, some of which I incorrectly took for granted that I already knew accurately.
You can tell this isn’t just a job for Kevin, but a passion. Whereas many guides may do the bare minimum and seem like they’re rehearsing a script they’ve given a thousand times before, Kevin has a real zest for the work and we appreciated the personal touch he gave by coming over and having conversations with us a few times too as we all ate. Once he heard I was moving back home to Ireland, he even very kindly offered to set me up with a contact who might be able to help with work in media, my chosen industry. A very thoughtful offer that showed Kevin’s natural hospitable instincts.
You’re in safe hands with Kevin. If you are in Dublin, I’d definitely recommend choosing to do this on one of your spare afternoons. Indeed, I already have to many friends and family, some of whom have thanked me afterwards for the tip!
Thanks again Kevin. Myself and Emma had a great time! 10/10

Kevin was so knowledgeable and entertaining as our guide. The walking is not difficult at all. The tour is affordable and allowing your to buy what food you want while showing you reccomended street food stalls is a great way to see and eat Dublin City on a budget. Best spot we were taken to without doubt was Griolladh’s - best you take that down as there is no guarantee you will be taken there on your tour.
