- GeorgiaAG0 contributionsHighly recommend! This was our third trip to Dublin and I’ve of the favorite tours/activities of all our visits. Our guide Collin had great knowledge and passion of Dublin history and shared it with the group throughout the tour and gave us all wonderful recommendations for dining and culture during the rest of our visit. I had to do a little arm twisting to get my husband on board with the idea and he THANKED me after over beers at a wonderful local pub. (Recommended by Collin of course!)Written 22 October 2023
- ghm39090 contributionsExcellent Introduction to DublinExcellent introduction to Dublin. Very knowledgable guide. Although the bikes themselves were ‘cruisers’, they were adequate to covering the main points of interest, and the commentary was great. Note: It is Ireland, and it will likely rain. Our tour was during a bit of a downpour, and although the tour company provided ponchos, we were glad we brought along full rain gear.Written 1 October 2023

Great bike tour! A wonderful way to see Dublin. Colin was very informative and gave us tons of history while having a fun time cycling around the city. He helped us prioritize where to spend our time and what else to see and do while in Dublin and also gave us recommendations for other parts of our trip in Ireland. He gave us some great recommendations for lunch and dinner as well ! (local spots that weren't touristy). Highly recommend this bike tour if you're visiting Dublin!

Took the tour this morning with John as our tour guide. Our two boys and wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every second of the tour. John was funny and the details and history he shared during our stops was so much fun. Couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. The bikes were first rate and I highly recommend the tour to anyone that wants to see the city through the eyes of someone who really knows and loves this great city! .

Cycling has to be the best way to see a city and this is my first tour of Dublin which I learnt amongst many other entertaining facts from Dubliner tour guide/owner Colin, is the biggest/best preserved Georgian City in the world. This enduringly elegant architectural style extends in all directions and I had no idea the city was so big and growing with stops along the nes dock land areas. It is a joy to return to the EU for an little englander and Dublin’s economy is clearly thriving and the city is of course so vibrant at all times of the day and night. The tour is massively good value and the bikes are all cool machines and a pleasure to ride. The safety arrangements are paramount and whatever your level of biking experience/confidence you will feel. Fab!

Whenever our family travels to a new city we make sure to schedule a bike tour upon arrival. It’s always tricky figuring out which one to choose, so we comb through reviews on several different sites to come to a decision. After reading the great comments about Cycle Tours in Dublin we booked for our trip in April ‘22. Now back from vacation, I proudly leave an excellent review for Colin and Cycle Tours in Dublin.
My husband, 17yo son and I were joined by 7 other travelers on our bike tour led by Colin. We hopped on some very cool bikes with baskets, donned clean helmets and safety vests and we were off. Our tour was about 2.5 hours and Colin was an amazing guide. He led us through the streets of Dublin (it was a weekday so not too busy) and provided us a full history lesson of this amazing city. He’s a tremendous story teller, providing us the knowledge of whatever site we stood before with excellent information and humor. From St Patricks Cathedral to Silicone Docks to the hidden Dutch houses, we covered the city just enough to give us ideas of where to revisit and explore further. From history lessons to current cultural information to restaurant recommendations, Colin was a wealth of information and a ton of fun. Can’t wait to recommend Cycle Tours in Dublin and Colin to all of our friends!

We did this tour on our first day in Dublin which was overall a good idea as we covered quite some attractions of the city we were interested in.
Our tour guide - Colin - was a very knowledgable and fun guy with tons of good stories in his pocket. You could feel and see his enthusiasm on the history of his city and him being a proud Dubliner.
We had lots of fun on the tour and would definitely recommend this to everyone who wants to see a city from a new perspective.

Colin was an absolute highlight of our quick trip to Ireland. His knowledge of Dublin's History and his passion for all the historical sites and "must see" stops were delightful and much appreciated by our group. This tour was a great way to see the city while learning more in depth topics we otherwise would not know. The tour was a hit with the teenagers in our group and an unique experience that I would recommend to anyone that would like to cover as much ground as possible of such a historic city.

Thoroughly recommend this tour - Colin the guide was brilliant and so knowledgeable.
It is a nicely paced tour with lots of stops to look at the history of the city and to get a very informative narrative. Despite being a busy city, most of the tour is on cycle paths and off road - we felt very safe cycling around Dublin.
Tour lasts about 2 1/2 hours, is at a steady pace and anyone who can ride a bike can do the tour - total distance is about 10km.
As above, definitely recommend this as a great way to see the city, burn off a Guiness or two and learn Dublin's history – 10/10 !

This is a brilliant way to explore and learn all about this vibrant city, and we got to explore many places we wouldn't normally have visited. Colin is a natural raconteur, a fantastic guide who passionate about his city and extremely knowledgable. The two and a half hour tour we did was relaxing and suitable for all levels of cycling proficiency. Social distancing was observed and was easy to achieve. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring this fascinating city and highly recommended cycle Dublin bike tours.

Went on a bike tour with 4 friends, really loved it. The tour guide has a lot of knowledge about Dublin and shows you the city in 2.5 hours. The bikes were good and after the tour the guide gave us some tips about other things to do and see in the city. Thanks a lot.

This bike tour was definitely the best way to see the beautiful city of Dublin.
With Colin as our guide we explored the city centre, saw all the major sights, continued to the docks and the tech city and finished outside the fascinating Chester Beattie museum. Colin wove the story of Dublin around the buildings and parks and answered all our questions with knowledge and humour. We'd recommend it to anyone at any age.
