Good way to get your bearings.
Good way to get an idea of the city when we first arrived. Drivers both did their own commentary which was entertaining and informative. Only part we didn’t like was the continual requests for a tip - I think this was mentioned too often by the drivers.

    Dark Yet Fun
Edgar and Francis led our family (children in 20s) on a fun tour where we learned some of the darker secrets Dublin has to offer.

    Best ghost tour in Ireland
Edgar, our tour guide, was super funny and knowledgeable. He was very nice and had researched well the stories and places we visited. As an actor, he was excellent an improvising and adjusting his routine to individuals from many countries. Frances, the driver, was a perfect complement for Edgar as the two of them were both funny and scary. The schedule for the tour was right on. Dublin offers some very chilling stories of its past which provides with a lot of material for the journey to be thrilling.

    Thanks for a fun night
Edgar and Francis were amazing! This was both entertaining and historically informative. We laughed and we learned. Edgar paces the trip and shared his wealth of knowledge to fit the group. I would recommend this to everyone looking for something different. It is not fancy, it is a little bit campy... but it was 100% enjoyable.

This was so much fun! Edgar and Franklin are so funny and had lots of interesting stories. The bus is very cool with creepy stuff in it too.

    Future around the city
Edgar and Franklin kept the tour attendees in stitches. Toured around the city and learned a lot about the historic darker side of Dublin. Coffins, torture articles, tunnels and much more. Would recommend this tour if you are in the area.

really cool service, it's awesome to hear about the city while riding around. I can't say enough about Alan. it's incredible that he was able to drive and be such a good guide. he made the trip personal and very special. whatever he's getting paid isn't enough.

Fun Trip; Great Way to See Everything
I purchased the 48-hour pass since we had 2 days to explore Dublin, and it was well worth it. There are plenty of buses, so it's easy to get off, explore various landmarks, and get back on without waiting very long. During the trip, we had multiple guides/drivers, and all of them were very friendly, funny, and informative. This is a great way to see the city and get to the bigger attractions/sights without doing tons of walking. My mobility-impaired mom was with me, so it was a great way to explore the city with her.

    Best of Dublin
The best way to see the highlights of Dublin. Highly recommend riding the bus the full time around and then deciding on where you want to get on and off. We had an amazing driver - Mark O'Connor. He was very entertaining, even singing a wee bit. :)

Great Way to see Dublin in a Day!
The HOHO bus was a great experience! Most stops were a few minutes to 15 minutes walk to the tourist attractions. Due to this we used it as our transport for the two days we were there so the money was well worth it as we didn't spend an extra dime on transport. DoDublin also offer the HOHO tickets with a return airport transfer which made the trip seamless from airport to accommodation, and then transport to explore Dublin. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the commentary was dependent on who was driving. Some drivers used the pre-recorded commentary, whilst other drivers (notably Gareth!) did live commentary with jokes, folk songs and facts about the different stops along the tour. I highly recommend this experience, especially for those who are visiting Dublin on a weekend trip.

    Synopsis
A wonderful way to introduce yourself to Dublin. If only visiting for a short time, then this will allow you to view the highlights. If visiting for a little longer, the information gained from the excellent commentary (and humour) provided as part of the tour allows you to plan where to return for a more leisurely time spent.

Wasn't really sure how the kids would react to this tour as the buzz of Halloween has passed and we're now on the Christmas countdown but any worries I had quickly disapperared as soon as we stepped on the bus. Scary Jimmy must be the friendliest and also the funniest Ghost in Dublin! The kids loved him and managed to keep them entertained throughout the whole tour not.once did we get is it over yet! Driver Francis was great with the kids too so.pleasant as we got on The bus itself is like a haunted house so got the kids excited as soon as they seen it:) Definitely recommend this tour with the kids and amytime of the year they will have a blast:)

Soooo good. Great mix of creepy stories + facts about Dublin, interwoven with a highly competitive front vs back of bus creepy quiz. Loads of chances for the kids to volunteer and ask questions. And one or two little jump scares to keep us all on our toes. All the action kept the kids really engaged and the time flew by. Loved it. Massive thanks to Damien!!

This is a fantastic activity for kids. My ten year old loved it. Lots of spooky stories but definitely kid friendly and appropriate. Our guide, Damian, was brilliant, so entertaining and upbeat. Our driver, Frances, was really lovely, very welcoming and so kind to the kids on the bus. I heard her mention to one group to let her know if they got scared and she would look after them. Really enjoyable, I would definitely recommend.

Great activity for the kids. Damian was a great host and I'd like to say a personal thank you to Francis the bus driver for his kindness and patience towards my daughter who was a little afraid to get on the bus in the beginning. I would highly recommend this tour to any families visiting Dublin.

The Ghost Bus Tour was brilliant! Myself and my partner went on the 28th of October. Edgar the tour guide was hilarious and amazing at his job, and the staff on the bus were great. The overall history and atmosphere on the tour was more than I expected. I would definitely recommend

We took my 9 year old cousin on this tour and he thoroughly enjoyed it, as did the adults. He is autistic and has some sensory issues but he didn't find it overly scary, it was more fun and entertaining. The entertainer was very good and very energetic. I have worked in Dublin for nearly two decades and learned things that I didn't know about buildings that I pass frequently. Would highly recommend.

Did this tour Sat 13/07/19. As soon as my son seen the bus he was amazed . The bus really stands out from the crowd. Down stair is a spookily decked out. Upstairs is set out with seats and a small stage.

Your greeted by a friendly dodublin driver, then a actor takes over and leads you upstairs. The tour lasst about a hour and your driven round the city to spooky places all the while been told spooky stories by the scarily funny actor.

The kids are involved all the way round and split into groups for a fun quiz. My son said it was the best tour he's been on. The adults are involved as well on the way round.

This tour was well worth the money and would be a great idea to have as a birthday party.
