      Amazing Trip to the North
We planned our trip to Dublin long time ago, but for sure as great fans of Game of Thrones, we wanted to see the locations where all started. We had a little delay, the bus driver got sick, so we had to wait for Paul, "the king of the bus". Our Tourguide Lar was simply amazing, he had on every location several stories to tell. He added photos or small clips to get informed for the (I think) overall five filming locations. The coats keeps us warm and feels like being one in Stark's army, and finally the swords at the end are fantastic. Overall after 11 hours of the tour, very nice guide and bus driver, kilometers of hiking, we are tired and very satisfied.

AMAZING. WORTH EVERY CENT FOR THE NORTH!
My wife and I are huge GoT fans, and we've been wanting to do this tour for the longest time. After a year delay of our honeymoon due to the pandemic, we finally took our trip to Ireland and did the tour from Dublin. Lar was such an exceptional, and fun tour guide who presented everything in such a thrilling way. We wore these cool Northern coats, and even got to take pictures with swords at some amazing location backdrops. We also had the privilege of meeting Eric and John, who came along for the tour. Lar, Eric, and John were all extras on the show and painted an even better picture of Game of Thrones and its behind the scenes look. Book the tour, it's an experience of a lifetime.

Antony and Danny were amazing guides. We had so many laughs and learned so much about the sites we visited as well as sights on the way. A truly one of a kind experience and a must do.

GoT, History, and a Nice Tour.
I booked this tour for my wife as she is a big GoT fan. Our guide Aenne and our driver Dennis provided an amazing experience I would recommend to anyone. There are two 3.5 KM walks(worth it), a pub lunch and photos with replica swords. It was a perfect day. Bring water and snacks and do be advised the first walk has a hilly section. Thank you Aenne and Dennis for giving us a great day out and great memories!

GoT Tour of scenes and Winterfell
Absolutely incredible tour if you are a GoT fan!! You learn so much about the scenes on the location in Tolleymore Forest Park. Loved seeing a Dire Wolf, the food was good at the Lobster Pot, and more. The bus ride wasn't boring because they kept you entertained the whole time. Our guide was FANTASTIC and I would recommend you ask for her, Aenne. There were two wrecks on the roadway and our bus drive Denis did a fabulous job getting us back to our hotel.

      Larks tour
We had such a fun time! Lovely scenic views even if they weren't in game of thrones they were lovely to look at! It was perfect for me and my boyfriend as we love to do walks like this at home but because we love game of thrones it added an extra touch! The tour guide was so funny and can't forget about the lovely bus driver and his amazing way to get through small spaces! The lobster pot smelt delious but had already brought sandwiches which left us eating with an perfect peaceful scenic view! I'd highly recommend everyone one to do this tour well if you have fast feet I would! A great day to remember!

      GoT lovers must do
Ignoring season 8, this tour takes you to a number of S1 and S5/6 filming sites including Winterfell and the Twins. Tollymore Forrest in Autumn was the most magical, beautiful and picturesque place I’ve ever seen. Our tour guide Aenne was fantastic and really made the day a blast. Denis our driver was something else, navigating the narrowest entryways with ease. The day is structured to include as much as possible, you won’t be bored. That being said, slow stragglers made us miss out on enjoying the last stop of the day as we were half an hour behind schedule and the sun was going down, despite our driver and tour guides best efforts to keep things moving. Get on this tour, you’ll love it.

      A MUST for GoT fans
This tour was absolutely incredible. We saw so many locations from Game of Thrones, from Winterfell to the path where Brienne and Jamie come across three dead bodies hanging from trees, to Jon and Tyrion’s camp on their journey to the wall. Aenne was an incredible tour guide. She was obviously passionate about Game of Thrones. Denis was also an amazing driver, who was able to navigate the bus through tiny roads. Not only would I recommend this tour for GoT fans, I’d recommend it to everyone. The scenery, specifically at Tullymore Forrest, was breathtaking, and a must see for anyone visiting Ireland. You are in for a jam packed day of GoT sights, so it’s imperative you’re on time at each stop to ensure you’re able to maximise your experience. I’d definitely recommend this tour, 10/10.

A Must Do for any GOT in Dublin
It was a full day and a fun one! We went to various locations where the show was filmed. We went to so many that I cannot even list them all. The best part was the end where we went to the location of the first "King of the North" scene. They gave us cloaks and swords and it was a blast. Lastly, my tour guide Eric was amazing. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the show. He actually was an extra in a bunch of the show, so he had awesome stories about that. You need to do this tour if you are a GOT fan!!!

The places you visit are simply spectacular and the forest is magical and eery all at once. It’s sooooooo worth the money and the walking and the 12 hour day!!!!! Do it because you won’t be sorry!!!!!

      Awesome time
We had the pleasure of having Aenne And Denis as our guides through the Tolleymore/Winterfell tour. It is always wonderful to see someone passionate about what they do. Aenne was awesome you could see and hear the excitement throughout the entire trek. She even took note of everyone making sure to address person individually if needed to ensure they’re were ok. Her knowledge of the behind the scenes workings was much appreciated and supposing at the same time. Denis is a cool cat with nerves of steel. I’m glad I got the chance to hang out and chat in between stops. We are now in the last few days of our two week visit and this has definitely been one of our highlights. We are sure to use the Game of Thrones Tours in our next visit and look forward to seeing the new tours when we come back. “TO THE QUEEN OF THE NORTH!”

I had an amazing time on this tour and our tour guide Lar was so engaging and hilarious that made the day even better! It was raining unfortunately most of the day which the tour could do nothing about, but Lar and our bus driver powered through it and still made the day as authentic as possible. I would definitely recommend this to any GOT fan that wants to get a really good behind the scenes experience.

A really amazing experience for those who are fans of the show. Eric was a knowledgable guide throughout our day, and was able to answer any questions given to him, given that he worked on Game of Thrones as an actor. The stop at a nearby Irish pub was also welcomed on what was a very windy, cold day (though I won’t blame the tour for that!) Tip: bring wellington boots and a waterproof with you.

Hi Benjamin, Thanks for taking the time to write a great review for your Winterfell Trek with Eric! Yes you guys were almost caught in Storm Eunice that day, seriously windy....Winter is still here in Ireland this February. Good advice for folks to bring wellingtons in Nov-March period, if they have them. Again thanks for writing a nice review now, as we try to get back on the road after two years off the road. Your kind words help us emerge from the Long Night of the pandemic. The North Remembers :)

I did the tour yesterday with a friend and we were lucky enough to get a mixture of wonderful weather and a fully entertaining and knowledgeable tour guide.

The day was well planned and well laid out. From start to finish we were entertained and engaged, whether on the bus or trekking to filming locations while wearing cloaks.

Lar, our tour guide was interested in the subject matter and was interesting to listen to. His obvious love for the show and its characters really added to what was already a great experience.

The day is pretty intense. It’s a long day and there’s a lot of walking to be done but it’s worth the effort. The sights that you’ll see will take your breath away. And the information you’ll get will make your next viewing of the show even better.

If I could make two recommendations, they’d be these. Number 1, make sure you stock up on drinks before you leave. There are plenty of places to use the toilet along the way but no real opportunities to get refreshment. And you’re gonna need refreshment.

The second recommendation is…do the tour with a friend. I can’t explain how much fun it is to share the experience with someone. There’s a silliness that you have to accept whilst walking through a forest and wearing a giant cloak. Sharing that silliness with a friend is really a wonderful experience. And you’ll want to have someone to talk to about the things that you’ve seen. It’s too much fun not to share with someone.

And if I can make a final bonus recommendation…stop reading this and book yourself a couple of tickets.

Lots and lots of cool information. Excursion was very well organized! We even had a chance to meet the dog which was casted at 3 months old to be part of the show and now he is 9 years old...we absolutely LOVED Lar and the whole experience!

What an amazing immersive experience this tour was, loads of behind the scene information about the series, saw fantastic places, lots and lots of walking in the forest and in general a really memorable fun tour. Lars (tour guide) and Denis (best driver) was very accomodating and full of energy not a dull moment during an entire day of tour. A very well worth it experience.

We booked this tour with a little knowledge of the series and base on the reviews of the tour we had read here in trip advisor and was are really glad that we took it.

Hi Mar, Wow that's high praise, one of the best trips you've ever been on :) It's great you appreciate that the Winterfell Trek from Dublin visits a part of Ireland largely unknown to visitors, namely County Down which has finally been put on the map thanks to GOT using it for a lot of filming, especially in the early seasons 1 and 2. To this day, our coach tours are the only coach tours from Dublin and Belfast which visit this region. So glad you got to see one of the most unvisited parts of Ireland :)

Just got back from doing the Winterfell Trek for the second time and we had a really fun time with our guide Robbie. He was full of energy all day with stories from his time working as an extra on season 2. The outdoor locations we visited are all from the early seasons , the guide uses screenshots to show how each location appeared in the show. A lot of the locations are actually from the very first episode of Game of Thrones, where it all began. The cloaks are great quality and look and feel the part :) If you're a fan of Thrones, especially the early seasons, then I would recommend having this experience, you won't regret it.

Hi Azuras, Delighted to hear you had a fun day with Robbie the archer who was killed six times (or seven), mostly in season 2. The cloaks come into their own in autumn when Winter is Coming or on winter tours when it's snowing :) Thanks for choosing our company and seven blessings for your review.

If you get the possibility to go on this tour, do it.
Lar is the perfect guide. He has so many stories to tell from his experiences as extra on big film productions; and he tells them with humor and energy so even your teenagers will forget their smartphones.
Beautiful landscapes, fresh air, lots of laughter, and also many historical facts about Northern Ireland. Thanks Lar for a wonderful day -and for the song!

We stayed an extra night in Dublin JUST for this tour because we are crazy GoT fans. Mind you it was St Patrick's Day weekend and hotels were outrageously expensive. You meet in the morning at Hilton Garden Inn and off we drive 2 hours to Northern Ireland. Robbie was our guide and he made us laugh a lot despite the terrible rainy weather. He was an extra on GoT and died 7x, and he got to live to tell us all about it. We visited many amazing and beautiful locations from S1 and S2 while walking close to 8 miles in the cold and rain. Do not wear your pretty shoes here because it was a muddy day for us. We started out at Tollymore Forest, visited Winterfell, and ended the day at Inch Abbey where Robb Stark was pledged King of the North. Because of the awful weather, Inch Abbey was the only spot we got to wear the cloaks and play with all the props. This made me a bit bummed when I saw the gallery online and other groups got so many nice pictures in their cloaks throughout the tour. Our group only got ONE group photo together. *sad face* Alas, we will just have to visit Ireland again and perhaps take the tour from Belfast next time.

Hi Doreenie, thanks for a great review and we are so sorry you got hit so badly with the rain that day! March 2024 in Ireland will go down in history as one of the worst weather Marches in the history of Irish Marches! Even the farmers are panicking about the waterlogged ground. But that aside we are delighted you found the locations amazing and beautiful and you got to done your Stark cloak at least once! It's gotta be done on a Winterfell tour.

Lar went above and beyond in his description of the area and the scenes shot at each location. He has a gift of entertaining. I will come back someday hopefully soon to go to the giants causeway tour. Paul the bus driver was a master also, he kept us on schedule even when there was an obstruction on the roadway
