Great trip! Philip was a great tour guide, leaving us with insightful bits of knowledge, some stories, and songs. Alec was a very good driver, especially through all the wind and rain.
This was our first trip to Dublin and decided to take this trip to see some of the country. Though it was a bit rainy and overcast, the views of the Wicklow mountains and Glendalough were stunning! Spent time in Kilkenny, walkkgn around the shops, having lunch at Kytelers Inn (yummy roast and lamb stew), finished off with a beer tasting at Smithwick's tasting room.

I don’t usually write reviews but I thought I just had to inform others how great the tour was. Phil, the guide, made you feel welcome the very first moment he checked you off his passenger list. He was very knowledgeable, talking about the history of places as we passed them and sharing interesting facts. He made you feel welcome and was genuinely friendly. Liam, the driver, was also nice and was excellent at getting us to places safely and on time. On the return journey back to Dublin Phil chatted with each of us and asked if we had any questions. I would definitely book with Collins Day Tours again. The staff just make it that much more pleasant and enjoyable.

Gerry was a fantastic guide who thoroughly explained the tour schedule, including where and when to meet the bus, and was incredibly informative. The tour route was beautiful and interesting. We had a delightful time and wish we could have packed Gerry in our luggage as we returned home.

P.S. fellow tour passengers: Please respect the time of everyone else on the tour by getting back to the bus on time. When you're late and delay the departure from any of the stops, you take valuable time away from the group at subsequent stops. You take from others to serve yourself. On a tour, a communal mindset is key to everyone having a great day.

This was a great tour. I knew I wanted to go to Glendalough from seeing the photos online before arriving in Ireland. I chose Collins Day Tours based on their good reviews, and I was not disappointed. The weather forecast didn't look great initially, but it turned out to be a beautiful day. (Until some rain at the very end). I didn't choose the tour for the Kilkenny part, but ended up enjoying it. I think Jerry was the name of the guide, and he was very knowledgeable and entertaining. I was pretty jet-lagged and out of it for most of the day but still enjoyed the stories and scenery.
