A real highlight of our trip to Dublin! This was in no small part due to the amazing Alan! His knowledge of the exhibits and and of the musicians they pertained to was excellent and he shared this with enthusiasm and personal stories that really brought it to life. Thank you Alan!. Was great to see young musicians coming in and out to the recording studios too. I would heartily recommend a visit.

So, how to say this... WOW. WORT. EVERY. SECOND. Visiting the Irish Rock Museum was one of the only three mandatory stops we had planned on our roadtrip to Ireland. And thank god we did! The way Irish people preserve and enhance their culture is so rich and full of passion we couldn't help but falling in love with their culture and historic background even more. And all this, through music! Alan was by far the best guide in a museum we haver had, giving us the best experience only by is natural passion for Irish music. Coming to Ireland without visiting this museum is like drinking Irish Coffee without Whiskey. Their culture is so connected to their music, no wonder why they have chosen a music instrument as a national symbol. Please visit. You will mot regret. Thank you Irish Museum for this amazing experience and thank you Alan for the unique way you put your soul into this project. We would give a thousand star review if we could. ♡

We had a great time at the museum. Alan was a fantastic guide and provided some nice personal anecdotes and experiences he’s had with many of the artists the museum pays ode to. He left us a wanting more!

This is a must for any rock fan. Our tour guide Glen was fantastic. I learned a tremendous amount and as a result I have a number of both new bands to check out and old ones to revisit. Please go, you will not be disappointed. Plus, if you play music you might find yourself jamming with Glen as I did!

The tour was amazing-I never knew how much the Irish influenced worldwide rock and roll. Christina was great, answering a yand all questions. I highly recommend this tour.

Like music…. You’ll love this experience! Alan gave a superb tour and it was a must see if you care at all about music. Alan gave our tour and he was great! He had lots of stories and was great with the history of Irish rock and roll! It was longer than we thought it would be, 2+hours, but really enjoyed it.

Alan took us on the tour. He was the highlight, as well as, all of the bands that have recorded and preformed. A must see for those who love rock n’ roll history and want to learn more about Irelands contribution.

Alan is the best tour guide I’ve ever seen in my life. His Dublin identity makes the tour unique and irreplaceable. In other museums in the world, they simply tell you the same thing in a distant fashion, but Alan tells you about his passion in an intimate way.

This was our first trip to Ireland & the Irish Rock 'N' Roll Museum Experience made for a great afternoon out. I wouldn't normally book a guided tour as I've found they can be impersonal, stiffly scripted, often unnecessary, and I usually prefer to explore places on my own terms. However, I'm not sure we would have had such a good experience had it not been for our tour guide, Alan. From the moment we stepped through the doors he made us feel welcome & at ease. He made sure to let us know that this was our tour and at any point we could stop to absorb our surroundings, take pictures & ask questions. Not only was Alan knowledgeable about music and the history of his surroundings but he also brought humour and emotion. He had a willingness to connect & shared some of his own experiences which we appreciated greatly.

This tour is highly recommendable! You deeply dive into the history of Irish Rock music. Our group was really international and everybody had a great time. Our host (Scott) was a highly entertaining and welcoming guy who provided us with lots of background Information (like Michael Jackson's Connecticut to Ireland) and showed us the importance of music in Ireland's culture and its power to connect with other people. We even had a quick jam session during the tour (see photo). Thanks again! :) The time passed too fast. 6 out of 5 stars. Absolutely fantastic!
