- T5712MAdavidm00Great overview of Irish whiskey and a fun tasting experience!Tiernan was a super knowledgeable guide and had previous work experience at a distillery. We had been on several tours before but this was a great opportunity for me to ask more detailed questions and have a conversation about whiskey.
- F6378NHvaleries00Great tour and intro to new whiskeys for beginners through advancedGreat tour and information on the Whiskey. The first bar was a bit loud so it was hard to hear at times. Id also suggest eating a light meal beforehand because the food served is more about pairing tastes than filling you up.
- Scenic28292700Fun Afternoon!!We really enjoyed the Premium Whiskey and Food Tasting in Dublin with Tiernan. The whiskey drinkers in the group really enjoyed learning the history, the process of how it's made and the opportunity to try several different kinds. The rest of us gained a new appreciation for Irish Whiskey, the opportunity to try several kinds and the food pairing. It was also fun to visit several different pubs that we typically wouldn't have found on our own. We had a really fun afternoon.
- GlobeTrotting21528100Perfect eveningTiernan was very informative and the whiskey and food pairings were perfect. I highly recommend this tour
- Anna Marie R00Amazing flavorWe did this with our oldest and our guide was amazing. He was very knowledgeable of the whiskey process and we enjoyed his info
- 664waltert00Great craicWe loved it. 5 excellent whiskeys, cheese and chocolate in beautiful pubs. What's not to like? Our guide Jim (I think?) was terrific. A well of knowledge. Highly recommended
- Z3214VDfranziskas00Great!Everybody who stays in Dublin should make this Trip! It was just great. Andrew was an amazing. At first we met at a lovely bar and make a tasting of 3 different Whiskys. Andrew told as alot about the basics and fun and interesting historical facts. He gave us time to try everything. Smell it, taste it, try different versions and food with the Whisky. After that we get in another bar and had alot Smalltalk and try other Whiskeys. It was really fun and you feel like a pro.
- marycI7718FQ00Excellent whiskey tour! The whiskeys were amazing! I learned so much about whiskeys and how to drink and enjoy them!! The tour guide was very knowledgable!
- mcalegari00A highlight of our trip to DublinWe attended the whiskey tour on July 5 and it was one of the highlights of our vacation in Ireland. The whiskeys selected for our tasting were all excellent and we learned a lot about what to look for and taste. There were three couples on our particular tasting. Two couples had much experience tasting Irish Whiskey, while we had none. We got along well and everyone had a great time. After we got back from our trip, we found that this experience was the one that most people wanted to talk about. It also helped us decide on gifts to bring back from Ireland. I highly recommend this experience for both newbies (like us) and experienced drinkers.
- NVtravelstheworld00Fabulous Irish Whiskey TastingWonderful experience learning about how Irish whiskey is made and how it pairs with different cheeses and treats. Tiernan was an excellent guide into the world of Irish whiskey and taught us how to embrace the burn. It was also wonderful to visit the different historical Dublin pubs.
- lewismary7800A Taste of Irish WhiskeyThis was fun and informative! Love the small group setting, the host and information about various types of whiskey.
- JennyLW9900Good experience for this whiskey noviceI'm a whiskey novice & prefer vodka still, but this tour was really interesting. The guide, Tiernan, was well-informed & very good at sharing his knowledge. We tried 3 whiskeys at the 1st stop & 2 others at the 2nd. At the first stop, we also had cheese & chocolates to taste along with the whiskey to see how it enhanced or changed the flavor, but it wasn't really a pairing lime you'd see with a wine tasting (which is perfectly fine, just a different experience so don't expect true pairings). My group ended up just being 3 of us so it was almost like a private guide, which was great, but I think works still be a good experience with a slightly larger group. Definitely recommend if you want to learn about Irish whiskey
- delrayAlexandria00Great Tour - Good Drinks, Fun Guide! This was a blast. Andrew was a lot of fun and did a great job explaining the five whiskeys in an accessible way that both wasn't snobby and not condescending at all. I learned a lot about what I liked and that price doesn't necessarily correspond with preferences. The food pairings were all tasty and made a lot of sense in context of the drinks, and I just regret not eating even more of the cheese. The Premium (middle priced) tour was quite reasonable from a value standpoint, and I'm very glad we did this tour instead of taking the Jameson tour or something like that. Strong recommend.
- Kate D00Excellent Irish Whiskey TourA wonderful time tasting whiskey with Tiernan! His knowledge about the process and history of Irish whiskey was amazing! The choice if whiskeys was inclusive of some of the best I’ve tasted and the food pairings of cheese, fruit, crackers and chocolate was perfect.
- SeanForde00A must when in Dublin!Andrew packed so much interesting information into the experience. We learned so much about whiskey, it’s impact on food/taste and it’s history in Ireland. The Lincoln Inn and The Palace Bar were the ideal locations providing a classic and unique Dublin feel to the event.

A great whiskey tour that I enjoyed much more than the previous distillery tours I've done. Andrew is very knowledgeable about whiskey (obviously) but also about Dublin and Ireland and does a great job weaving the knowledge together. As a group we ranged from people who drink a lot of whiskey to those who never do, but he was great about making the whiskey (and the tour) enjoyable for all!

We had a very nice and pleasant whiskey tasting. The ambience of the whiskey bar was very pleasant and immediately provided a good mood/atmosphere. Andrew was able to tell us a lot about Irish Whiskey and the ones he selected all had their good and special taste.
It was the perfect start for a Saturday evening in Dublin.
Long story short:
Absolutely recommendable for all friends of whisky and perfect for all beginners.

My group of 4 people took this incredible whiskey tasting tour that exceeded our expectations. No one else booked the tour for that day, so it was a private tour with just our group and our tour guide, Andrew. The small size of the group made the experience more intimate and a truly unforgettable experience. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable about the history of whiskey making not only in Ireland, but all around the world. We learned so much from him. He was able to make the tour both informational but also a lot of fun. We were able to taste 5 different whiskeys throughout the tour and he even gave us recommendations of other places we could go in the area to explore independently after the tour had ended. We will definitely be recommending this tour to any friends/family who are traveling to Dublin in the future!

We had a wonderful time with Rachel on the Whiskey Tasting Tour....and I don't even like Whiskey :)
But Rachel made the experience very educational, with lots of Irish history included. It was a very fun couple excursion. I even found some whiskeys that I enjoyed!

A fun way to spend an afternoon and to learn more about Whiskey. Tiernan was a great guide. We booked a food and whiskey tour with the company at the last minute. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough people to be able to do the tour, but Andrew, the owner, contacted us immediately and gave us several options instead, and we opted for a whiskey tasting only tour, and it was excellent. We got to learn about the history and different ways to helps enhance enjoyment of Irish whiskey. It was neat to go to two very old bars in Dublin that have some interesting history and we were able to discover new whiskies that we enjoyed.

There was meant to be four of us, but the other couple never showed so it was just our guide (Tiernan) and us. We had a fun evening! Tiernan had so much great info and knew the answers to all our questions, and it makes a big difference to talk to someone who seems to actually like being there with you. We enjoyed all five of the whiskies we tried and had a nice time chatting. It was our last night in Dublin and we thought it was a nice way to round out the trip.

Rachel was very knowledgeable and a fun guide. Loved all the whiskeys we sampled. My favorite was the upstairs Whiskey Palace room at the Palace Bar. We started at the Lincoln’s Inn which also was very cool. I would recommend this tour.

What a great way to spend a couple of hours in Dublin. Tiernan (our guide) was great, friendly, knowledgable and passionate about whiskey. We are whiskey novices but thoroughly enjoyed learning about the different types of Irish whiskies, and obviously tasting them.

Our tour was totally spoken, but the tour guide spoke slowly, repeating and explaining when necessary, and giving every plenty of time to ask questions. This was a great, well rounded overview of Irish whiskey!
