About the operator
- FlishZ00Great way to get around Dublin! This is the best way to get around Dublin! We bought a 2 day ticket, rode the whole circuit on the 1st day then decided where we wanted to get off & on. The weather was chilly when we were there but the top deck is partially covered so we sat there, you can get better pictures from top deck. A couple of the drivers sang old Irish songs to us which was fun. I would definitely recommend it!
- pernillecortado00Excellent, informative and fun (unless you’re Tom Cruise) 😄James did a very good job being funny and informative t the same time. We spent the full 2,5 Hours on the bus non stop. We were sitting on top under the roof having a great view. We really enjoyed this trip! 🤗
- 17niamhj00Brilliant!Very much enjoyed the tour, got to see many things and listen to some good Irish music on the way. Stephen was an excellent and informative driver, funny and a very good singer 😉 overall would recommend as a way of seeing the city!
- D6800ZLericag00Will book againIt was a great way to tour the city. Start early in the day to stop and see everything. Great service driver had a good sense of humor.
- angelaeJ9203IV00Great tour round DublinHad a brilliant driver in Ritchie. He was very informative and humourous. Made a perfect start to our holiday in Dublin.
- ShelleyC300Green bus! After years of using the red bus to get around Dublin, used the green bus this time. Spoke with Rob who was really friendly and helpful with sorting out tickets for us and had the joy of a few different drivers (and entertainers 😉) along the way. Johnny Mac and Daniel were amazing - giving us a sing song, a lot of local knowledge and history, and that famous Irish wit and humour on the tour. I always learn something new ☘️💚
- S8097DKsarahs00Driver Garth is a gem!Great bus tour and brilliant guides /drivers. We used the tour bus for 2 days of our Dublin holiday and it was such a great experience. Clean buses, easy to access and the stops were perfectly located. Despite us hopping on and off a number of different buses we kept bumping into Garth, our very friendly, funny and knowledgeable driver /guide. Thanks Garth for a cracking experience, a true credit to DoDublin 🫶 from the 'young' Blackpool couple 🤣
- H8070NEmaureenh00Tour of DublinFabulous tour and such friendly and funny tour guides. Buses were spotless…great time seeing Dublin from the top deck!
- LucyT29600Get it booked!Absolutely loved this tour! Easy to use and they arrived often enough at stops. The drivers were full of knowledge and very humorous! I need to give a shout out to Mary the singing driver, what an absolute legend she is. She had us all clapping along to her songs. Such a lovely lady. Well worth the price to spend the day doing the tourist stuff.
- audreycC1744HV00What made our trip17/11/23 A great day trip from Glasgow to Dublin what made our trip was a driver on DoDublin hop on hop off bus his name was Mark Cleary he was amazing at his job so so funny with telling us the facts of tour defo recommend his bus
- Tanna P0015 stars from span of 3 generational passengersOur guide was Mark Cleary and I have to say that he was phenomenal! I am not a fan of tours per se but if I could have this guy on every tour, I'd love them! He was informational sure, but his jokes, wit, and commentary was what carried the tour! Yes, some corny jokes were added but my teenage niece and my father were with me and they loved it. 15 stars from 3 generations 🙂
- StefanD261500MUST DO!Booked a city tour today with the DoDublin bus. I was lucky to have a very good driver and at the same time a super guide named Richie. Thanks to this guy, my first day in Dublin was a success! A sincere thank you and keep up the good work.
- Selany00Great Day OutWasn't really sure how the kids would react to this tour as the buzz of Halloween has passed and we're now on the Christmas countdown but any worries I had quickly disapperared as soon as we stepped on the bus. Scary Jimmy must be the friendliest and also the funniest Ghost in Dublin! The kids loved him and managed to keep them entertained throughout the whole tour not.once did we get is it over yet! Driver Francis was great with the kids too so.pleasant as we got on The bus itself is like a haunted house so got the kids excited as soon as they seen it:) Definitely recommend this tour with the kids and amytime of the year they will have a blast:)
- dfariadx00Great for first timersThe bus was awesome. First bought a 48-hr ticket then we went back for 1 more day after deciding we liked it so much. Martin and Mary were our favorite drivers. They had us laughing and singing the whole time. The bus is great to see everything you'd want to see for about 30$ a day or less for a 2 day pass. Definitely worth it if you don't know your way around.
- Shirley S00Fabulous Hop On Hop Off Dublin City TourAbsolutely a great way to see some city highlights. Wonderful guided tour. Very informative. Courteous drivers. I bought a 24 hours ticket and used it 3 times to see the full tour. Free ticket to The Little Dublin Museum was a great treat.

I booked this based on reviews. This was sold as a scary, fun interactive tour. However, this was not the experience we had at all. Our host kept forgetting her words, there was absolutely no atmosphere or interaction, the whole thing was very boring and awkward. She was unable to open and close the gates, needing other customers to help her. The stops were hardly worth getting out in the cold. We are extremely disappointed and we would definitely not recommend this trip. I feel with a different story teller the experience may have been different. But we feel complete misold and will be requesting a refund.

Dear Customer
We're sorry you did not enjoy the Ghostbus tour. We will share your feedback with the Ghostbus team to try to improve the tour.
We note for the benefit of our other customers that in general feedback for this tour is overwhelmingly positive. The tour has been operating for over 20 years and we've rarely received anything below 5-Stars, so while we can't guarantee it will appeal to everyone, and it is possible that the storyteller can have an off-night we nevertheless contend that this tour is very entertaining and offers a great night out.
Kind regards

This went above an beyond my expectations. I thought it would be a simple bus right seeing scary places, but it's so much more. Edgar was fantastic at setting the eerie tone and telling stories of ghosts and Dublin's history. Couldn't recommend it more

Our friends came over from Dublin with their children age 5 and 11 (almost 12) we went on the Ghost tour for kids. The six of us really enjoyed the entertainment that was provided by Damian who really made the trip equally funny and creepy. I recommend it for a fun and not to scary trip for children 👍🏻

I was able to live out my dream of yelling “Jamie Lee Curtis” to a bus full of strangers and have them subsequently applaud.
This was a fantastic trip - both spooky and informative, but also a great laugh. It was made all the more enjoyable by Edgar’s infectious enthusiasm and showmanship. Cannot recommend enough.

Took the tour with our 14 and 16 year old daughters and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Edgar was a great host, funny and entertaining. Frances was our friendly driver. The tour makes great use of the tour bus as a prop, not just a way to get from place to place. Each stop was interesting, with a good story. Unfortunately, since it was summer, the first tour of the evening still took place with a lot of daylight. I'm sure it would have been spookier in the dark, so if you want the full experience, you might want to book the second tour of the night.
Overall, a great tour and well worth the cost.

Took the tour last night , had a great experience. Our host Drucilla was exciting and did a great job, we were fully engaged and intrigued throughout the whole tour. The tour was spooky and also gave us an interesting in site into Dublins history. Would highly recommend for anyone in Dublin around the holiday. Thank you Drucilla and crew!!!!!!

Edgar is a brilliant tour guide! The experience is immersive and theatrical yet so informative. We learnt so much, from ghosts to Bodysnatching to Darkey Kelly to Dublin’s anatomy rooms. The ghost bus itself is kitted out brilliantly and the tour is both comfortable with an interlude to stretch your legs. Thanks so much Edgar, you and your ghost bus tour were the highlight of our mini break. Best wishes to you. Highly recommend!!

What a great tour. Edgar was one of the best and funniest guides I've ever had on a tour. He was the exact right mix of personable, hilarious, knowledgable, laid back, responsible and a great actor and storyteller. I would definitely recommend this tour to both Irish people and any tourists coming here. It was fun as HELL.

My friend and I went on the Dublin Ghost Bus tour on a Saturday in Summer. Despite still being light out, it was a fantastic experience! We had so much fun. We talked about the tour for the rest of the night! Our tour guide, Cullen, was very funny, played his role well, had good energy about him, was cute, and very sweet. I use a cane for balance (this tour is not wheelchair accessible and if you are not an ambulatory cane user, I don't recommend it) and Cullen made it known to me that if I required assistance with the steps he could help, without singling me out or embarrassing me. Also, if you have trouble with the Irish accent, Cullen enunciates well and is easy to understand. If you like history, this tour is great. You get short tales from history throughout. Maybe it was the daylight or maybe it was my skepticism but I didn't get scared or feel uncomfortable. It was a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend it!

I had a great time!! My host on the tour was Edgar and the driver was Francis, and they both had a really cool joking vibe and the tour was amazing. Lots of cool information, and I even won a cool prize for knowing horror movie soundtracks :) highly recommend it, and if you have Edgar for a host, it’ll be a wonderful two hours

They stop twice for two short tours; Dublin Castle and St Kevin's Church. There is very little walking involved and you can always stay on the bus if you don't want to do them. If you have mobility issues I would give the Dublin Castle tour a miss (the first stop) as it's the longer of the two tours and there are stairs involved in going down beneath the castle. The St Kevin's tour is short and flat. Hope this helps.

There is no bar on the bus.
Possibly people had their own supply but I never saw any evidence of it.
We had dinner first ( with wine ) and after the bus trip we went to a cocktail bar for one or two drinks.
Then walked back to our AirBnB and had a bottle of wine ....so no need of alcohol on the tour.
It’s great fun for a couple of hours. Actually the best thing we did in Dublin....and we did lots.

The bus requires you to have a printed ticket to board. If you don't have a printer you should be able to go directly to the tour office and acquired your tickets there before boarding the bus. Just go early.

THE ghost tour is a series of stories and they stop at sites related to stories. The windows are curtained so you can not see out..Throughout the tour they are talking...They do not want you distracted...
