We really enjoyed our two day tour of the Blarney Castle and Cliffs of Moher. The tour was interesting, well planned and the guides were excellent (Cash one day and Joe the next). The tour buses were clean and comfortable. I would have given five stars but our stay at the ‘B&B’ in Cork wasn’t great.. the establishment wasn’t clean and I had asked for two beds in advance, as I was traveling with my father, and ran into trouble when we arrived and were given one double bed for the two of us. Thankfully, it was resolved but it wasn’t without effort and refusing the room. If I would have known we were being put in a 1 Star accommodation, I would have booked the tour differently.. two separate day tours and the accommodation on my own. I reached out to Paddywagon and received a response three weeks later saying they are working on this issue. So if there is an issue, customer service doesn’t respond quickly. There was also no offer to makeup for the inconvenience and unpleasant stay. Based on this experience, I would recommend this tour group but would hesitate to book anything where they are in charge of the accommodation. Next time I go to Ireland I’ll look into the one day tours only.

That being said our day one guide, Paul, was fantastic - funny, informative, etc and had excellent suggestions for dinner and fun in Cork (for our overnight stay). Our B&B in Cork was perfect, but there was some confusion about pick up time and we ended up bolting our breakfast so we could get on the bus at about 7:05 and then sat in the bus at the Paddywagon HQ in Cork for almost an hour. The good thing about being the first to be picked up was we got a front set which is great for site seeing along the bus route.

I agree that day 2 getting back to Dublin was a bit of a hassle... the Cork return left an hour before the first bus available to Dublin. We were told we could leave our bags at the woolen store but they were basically sitting against a wall and not in any way "secure" (as in behind the counter or something) however that proved to be no problem as the bags were still there when we returned. We travelled back to Dublin with the Spanish language tour because that bus was leaving first so possibly missed some of the Bunratty to Dublin history/scenery/information as we are not spanish speaking.

I think this 2 day tour could benefit from some better coordination/communication/support for day 2 travellers.

The tour itself was wonderful. Guide was informative and included a lot of history, while being quiet enough in the early morning to allow us to relax and nap on the bus. Day one was Jam packed, and I wish we would have had a little longer as the Q at Blarney castle was 90 minutes and we were given only two hours. Not willing to waste our time there in line, we opted to explore the grounds instead and missed our chance at the Blarney Stone.
Now, for the accommodation. The upgrade to a standard accommodation (rather than hostel) is a B&B which is old but clean and hospitable. (Acorn Inn). The tour company does not provide the name of the hotel nor do they share that it is a ten minute walk up a steep hill (I was towing 70 lbs worth of luggage). Had I known, I would have simply ordered a cab. While the driver offered to carry my luggage, he was older than I so I certainly didn’t feel comfortable with that!
The tour leaves from a spot in Dublin around the corner from the Paddywagon office. Tickets were not clear and the spot was not marked. Buses were obvious but no sign as to which bus was for which tour. No sign or person to indicate the need to check in at the office. Very disorganized.

A friend from Dublin recommended Paddywagon Tours for our upcoming Ireland visit and we trusted him fully, booking 4 trips with Paddywagon. This was such a great experience and I can not recommend them enough. The buses are super comfy and you can rest or relax while they handle the stress of driving around. The guides will talk you through key location and events in the areas around you and when its mostly farmland for a while, they will play Irish music - from classics to the Cranberries to set the theme. They were quite timely and they give plenty of stops for restrooms and leg stretches, as well as quick photo stops, some history lessons, they will have lunch stops planned in where the food is always excellent, and they have the time at locations very well planned out. We had such a truly wonderful time in Ireland and a great deal of that was thanks to the guides at Paddywagon. We had the best craic with Jackie as he toured us to the Rock of Casheel, Blarney Castle, and Cork, then on a another day he toured us through Northern Ireland's scenic coast to the Giant's Causeway and Belfast. He has so many relatable stories and tales, he's very well informed, and he also gave excellent recommendations for shopping and places to buy pints or dine out. We also enjoyed our tour with Martin to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren, with the best lunch I have ever had in Doolin (at O'Connor's and you must try the goat cheese tarts). On the day we went to the Cliffs, it was supposed to rain, so they adjusted the itinerary to give us the best weather at each stop and it worked beautifully! The only thing we didn't enjoy was the overnight accommodations in Cork, which were clean and safe, but felt like it was on par of a hostel for backpackers than what an American would expect when they read "Bed & Breakfast". Still, this was definitely the best way to tour Ireland so yeah, book with Paddywagon.

Great experience overall! Like many, we’d planned to take this trip and tour the first part of 2020. We had appropriate communication about refunding/rescheduling and they were open and honest about the whole process. We decided to reschedule and they told us to let them know when and they’d get scheduled. We had no problems. Now, the tour itself was awesome! We got to see bucket list items of Ireland for first time visitors and learned a lot of Ireland’s history on the way. Our driver was Jackie and he was funny and knowledgeable. He gave us recommendations for movies, books etc. if we were interested in the many topics he discussed. I did find one factual discrepancy, so I would like my tip back if anyone at the company reads these. (I’m just teasing, internet.) If you can request a driver, request him. The accommodation was a B&B run by a lovely gentleman. They had clean, cozy rooms and good breakfast. Everything was worth seeing and experiencing - plenty of shopping opportunities too. If it rains at the Cliffs of Moher, just go with it; it’s still super cool.

2 groups were combined and there was a little bit of confusion while getting on the bus and we had to change the bus while returning to Dublin.
Hurried visits, places to eat were not that great. Poor choices of food specially for vegetarians.
Room that we were given was bad too. In a hotel ours was a ground floor room with all the noise from the hotel lobby and cleaning person etc were heard. Our view was a dumpster at the back yard.
Drop off was at a different place than the pick up(maybe that was speechified in the itinerary I am not sure)
Drivers were very courteous and knowledgeable.

I will not book with Viator/trip advisor if this quality of tours continues

I (35M) did the tour with my mom (60F) and we loved it! First of all can't say enough about how wonderful the tour guides were Richard was our main tour guide and he was informative, funny and approachable! He made our trip just that much more enjoyable as we drove from one place to another.

We also had Alex who taught us about the Irish Flag which was great! Also an enjoyable tour guide!!

The trip itself was beautiful! We got lucky and when we went to Blarney it only took 25 mins to get up to the stone to give it a big smacking kiss!! The grounds were also beautiful to walk!

The Cliffs of Moher were the second day and when we first got there it was too foggy to see anything but after an hour (we had 2 hours there) the fog cleared and we could see everything!

You do other stops along the way The Burren was also very cool! It would be nice to have a few extra minutes there though.

Oh and the accomodation was very european...no AC and just a quick continental breakfast but it did the trick! I slept soundly and was ready to go for the second day!!

All in all i was VERY happy with my choice of tour!

Driver should have manners and know how to handle situations when the customer doesn't show on time after visiting the place due to reasons out of their control, like a never ending queue at the very few ladies bathrooms available at the Cliffs, where my sister in law and little niece had to wait for around 10 mins. Driver was super disrespectful that even one of the Cliffs you Moher workers questioned his behaviour after hearing that he was shouting on us. Their buses should also have bathroom. Wouldn't recommend this tour provider!!!

We did a two day tour and loved it! Our first day we had Aiden as our driver. He was funny and knowledgeable which made the whole day really fun. When it was time to find our B&B he made sure to give us all the information we needed and great recommendations on what to do and where to eat. Our B&B in Cork was comfortable and quiet. The owner got up earlier than their scheduled time to make our breakfast so we would be early to the bus. The second day on the bus started off slow because we were late that caused some minor issues but it wasn't a big problem for our party. The first half of the Day we had Julie and DJ to take us out to the cost. It was an ok drive, they were not as entertaining as Aiden. We switched buses at the Cliffs of Moher and had a new driver Val. He was funny and knew so much information. He is also quite the entertainer so that made the long trip go by faster. The only issue we had was that our transfer to our bus back to Dublin was changed so we missed a stop at a smaller site and ended up having twice the time at another. Overall it was still a great experience and we felt the cost was well worth what we got from the experience.

This is not a 2 day tour, rather 2 one day tours with overnight accommodation. Since you are on a day tour, there isn’t enough time to explore the places you want as everyone else has to return to point of origin. We were told several times on day 1 by Richard that the reason we wouldn’t have enough time was to miss the traffic. We we’re given 2.5 hours to spend at blarney castle, of which we had to have lunch and wait at least 90 mins to get to the Blarney Stone. This meant we had no time to see the rest of the castle. But since everyone else on the tour was returning to Dublin we were dropped off at our accommodation at 4.45pm with no option of staying a Blarney castle any longer than the others. On day 2 we were dropped off at Bunratty castle with no facilities to hold our luggage and told to wait for the next bus back to Dublin which MAY arrive in another hour. Absolute joke of a tour that ruined our already limited time in Ireland.
