At first i was a bit skeptical on booking this. Usually i travel solo without turisty bus organizations. I have to say I was very pleasently surprised! Besides the sightseeing that talks for itself, i liked the fact that the bus driver Richard, was very knowledgeable, professional and made us laugh lots! I also liked the fact that the company is super strict on time. Sometimes if you travel with such a big group you end up waiting for the late people and miss out on something. Not with Richard. He made it very clear that in case someone was late, he wouldn't wait. So everyone was very respectful and no time had been wasted.
It was a sunny beautiful day yesterday, so Richard asked us about changing the iternatary and not only doing the cliffs by bus from up, but also by boat! We paid (whoever wanted) and took the boat to see the cliffs from a different point of view and it was truly amazing!
Also, You won't have too much time to go out for lunch etc. I recommend to get the best out of the day, bring Sandwiches so you have more time for sightseeing!
Last but not least, the bus is super clean!

First, this company was very patient with my group, who was last minute and had trouble getting tickets. Our driver, Richard, was supportive and, after warning us not to be late later, commenced to give one of the best tours of my life.

Richard was beyond knowledgeable. He gave us history of Ireland via trivia, jokes, and music. He was playful, teasing the passengers, and overall very engaging. He organized lunch where we ordered ahead of time and was met at a small pub with some of the best seafood chowder I’ve ever had.

More than anything, he kept an eye out for us, warning us about weather, taking care of a couple sick passengers and answering as many questions as we could throw at him.

He provided beyond a full day that didn’t feel long. I absolutely recommend this tour for anyone looking for a good day trip across Ireland.

So the start of the day was a bit stressful, loads of people waiting for a bus then 3 come with no one telling us what bus we needed to get on no signs on the bus either. I would suggest having a bus number so people know what bus they need to get on.

But once on bord the rest of the say was amazing, as we went on the bus the bus driver very friendly and welcoming and had goof banter with everyone. He was very knowledgeable and explained where we was going and what we will see.

On the way he explained when we was near things and when we would stop, the 1st part of the journey is motorway this was the perfect time to have a nap after the early morning.

All the stops after that was view stops and I can say there was some beautiful views, every stop had a story to tell. Me and my friend was looking forward to this day the most and it didn't let us down. If you want beautiful views and some culture this is the trip for you.

I have added some photos but the photos just don't show how beautiful it is.

The Cliffs of Moher made this trip worthwhile. It was absolutely worth the trip out. I chose this one in particular because it was a small group tour. Overall there are too many non-essential elements built into this tour and it takes time away from the main component. The Burren and the top of the Cliffs were spectacular but the cliffs felt rushed. The driving felt too fast at times and unsafe. There were two stops that were just about making money for partners -the boat trip &Bunratty Castle

Jacky was informative when he was on the microphone. He had good stories for the group.

Overall this is a smaller group (25) tour that fees like a large group tour.

This tour was on September 1, 2022. It started badly as there were not enough seats for everyone who had booked. By the time it was all sorted out we were already more than 30 minutes late getting out of Dublin. But that in hindsight, was the least of the problems for the day that quickly went sideways.
The tour needed a guide and a bus driver who knew where they were going. After getting to Cliffs of Moher behind schedule, they got lost trying to get to the other sites on the itinerary, which was now totally messed up. We spent hours driving around the Irish countryside down very narrow roads trying to figure out where we were and how to get on track. When we finally found our way, we were rushed barely staying for bathroom breaks. And to top it off, the guide and the driver got into a very heated argument throwing blame at each other. Everyone on the bus saw and heard it. Then on the drive back to Dublin, the guide's boss called him on his cell phone to yell at him. Apparently, the driver had called in to the office to tell them what was going on; and so, the guide started yelling at the driver for "ratting him out." The guide then started complaining out loud how his boss had just verbally abused him and that he would never work for Paddywagon again because of the abuse and the fact that he had never been trained. While still on the drive back to Dublin, the guide addressed everyone on the bus without making any eye contact to say, "Today has been an unmitigated disaster." The net of it all was a 12-hour day, where we did see the Cliffs of Moher, but spent more than nine hours sitting on the bus just riding around. Never did see the Baby Cliffs, The Wild Atlantic Way, or have lunch in Doolin. A trip to the Paddywagon office the next day to complain and seek a refund has gone unanswered more than a week later. For a company that bills itself as "Ireland's Famous Tour Operator," the word should be "infamous" not famous.

My boyfriend and I had booked a tour to the Cliffs of Moher about a month ago. Unfortunately, storm Brendan struck which closed the Cliffs of Moher the day we were planning to go. A “red status” warning was issued, which closed the Cliffs of Moher tour office and when looking at their website, they pleaded that no one come to the cliffs as it is severely dangerous in these conditions.

Paddywagon tour never even informed us that the cliffs would be closed; we had to find out by looking at Facebook. Of course, we did not want to attend a tour that would last an entire day (12 hours plus) that wouldn’t even go to our final destination.

We walked all the way to Paddywagon’s tour office to request a refund for this trip (in the middle of storm Brendan I might add), because it was our last day in Europe and we would not be able to reschedule. They refused and said they best they could do was give us a company credit that would only be valid for the next year. However, they would not take care of that on the spot and instead told us to email the company. We did so, and never got a response.

Now I understand not offering refunds for people that miss their buses, or other situations like that. However, when a storm closes the Cliffs for safety reasons, I think it is INSANE that a giant company like this would not offer refunds. This situation was entirely out of our control, and now I’m out over $100. Apparently these type of storms only close the cliffs a couple times a year too, so it’s not like they’d have to issue these refunds often.

I will never use this company even if I come back to Dublin. I am so disappointed that they could not do anything for me in this situation, not even a simple email response. I would not recommend booking tickets in advance because you have no way of getting refunded if something goes wrong. Stay away!!

I wouldn't recommend this tour operator unless you are an American tourist visiting Ireland. Our tour guide Dan was more interested in interacting with the American customers as if my family and I did not exist! I went on a tour of the Cliffs of Moher. I took my parents along. We also visited Doolin village. It could have been such a nice tour if our tour guide Dan wasn't so time conscious. We visited the world famous Gus O' Connor for lunch, only to have Dan force the entire tour group out of the pub in 40 minutes! So much for our lunches! We also effectively bypassed what could have been such beautiful tourist attractions like thatched cottages, Irish craft shops in favour of some silly ruins from the medieval era! Also, his assistant Kieran was incredibly rude to my dad who was trying to find out about the accessibility options at the Cliffs of Moher for people with limited mobility! Kieran seemed to be more interested in flirting with a group of American female college students by showing off his knowledge of Ireland!

I brought a group of 10 university students on this tour during our 2 week visit to Ireland and Scotland. We actually joined this tour from Limerick, not Dublin, which we learned was not ideal, as the bus was late, and harder to board when it's already mostly full, especially when you have a large group. Our driver was Sas, and he was informative and entertaining, engaging with our students and ensuring everyone was having a great time, even during the long bus ride times. The Cliffs of Moher are absolutely incredible, but we lost out on a lot of time there because the bus was late leaving Dublin. We definitely wanted more time to walk around the cliffs that we didn't have. Also, while the scenery was incredible along the Atlantic Way, motion-sick passengers beware!!!!! I had three students feeling awful the whole ride, just waiting for the day to be over because of all the tight, twisting, bumpy roads of the country side.

My daughter Hollie and I did 3 tours with Paddywagon Tours and every one of them were amazing! The cost was affordable, the buses were clean, spacious and comfortable and always at a good temperature, The destinations ( Cliffs of Moher, Giants Causeway and Blarney Castle) were beautiful beyond description. Our Guide Gerry was attentive to our needs, funny, genuine, very knowledgeable about Irish history and kind. He kept us well entertained while traveling with Irish stories, history and music. He kept everything well paced and the tours allowed plenty of time for exploring, eating, picture taking and adventure. While Paddywagon didn't have anyone answering the phone when we tried to contact them to verify pick up times and places, they were very quick to respond to emails.
Hollie and I had the time of our lives in Ireland and Paddywagon Tours was a huge part of that! I am SO grateful that you are back after the Covid shutdown and wish all of you (especially Gerry) continued success on your comeback! Thank you for everything!! We will be talking about our trip for years to come!

As Americans visiting Dublin for the first time, we highly recommend this tour. Richard was our knowledgeable and charismatic driver and guide. Every stop was breathtaking, but the Cliffs of Moher are the star of the show. We experienced, breathtaking views and the weather was kind to us throughout the majority of the voyage. Punctuality is paramount so if you tend to run late or dawdle, this may not be the tour guide or company for you. Richard went above and beyond to make this an incredible experience for everyone on the bus with the goal of maximizing our time and travels. Lunch in Doolin was terrific (get the stew). Thank you to Paddywagon and especially Richard!
