LOVELY TOURS, LOVELY TOUR GUIDES
Oct 2021
Geri and Tom were lovely and knowledgable guides with good driving skills and great senses of humor. The tours were exactly as we expected and we were able to see a lot of Ireland and listen to historically bound stories along the way.

We booked three tours through them in all. The Bus was a white long bus with cozy seats and air conditioning. See below for THINGS TO KNOW:

1) The pick-up place for Paddys Palace is literally a boarded up building with their logo on it. YOU'RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE. Have a seat on the steps at the pickup time and wait. The guide will find you and take you to the bus (typically across the street at Anchor House (?)) ***Email them if you have issues because their email responses are prompt. If you are running late LET THEM KNOW.

2) Bring your neck pillow, a book, and headphones--there is a lot of driving so a lot of downtime.

3) There are plenty of stops to stretch your legs, get a coffee, and use the restroom along the way.

4) I'd advise that if you book multiple tours you book them with a day off in between.

5) Tip your driver! Currently Paddys is running with only a few tour drivers for group tours because of Covid. We can all understand the affects Covid has had on small businesses. These guys work hard and spend a lot of time making your trip lovely. Show them your appreciation.

6) These tours are timed so don't waste your time in the gift shops and what not. Make the most of your journey!

7) If ever I'm able to book a Paddys Tour again--I 100% will.

Special Note: Thank you, Geri for giving my mom and I a great time on your tours and for spending her birthday with us. Also--Happy birthday to you in a few days!

Disappointing
Sep 2021 • Friends
Tour guide did not seem to enjoy his job and was not engaging as much; 2+ hours of silence! Boring..he did not talk about other landmarks we passed by so we were guessing what they were. Seemed more angry than funny. I would not reccomend. I prefer Rabbies or Golden Tours their tour guides talk most of the time, are funny, knowledgeable, and curious to learn about the passengers.

Cliffs of moher we're beautiful. Only bad part was driving in the bus on the way back. Lots of bodies on the bus and the driver wouldn't turn the air on despite hitting the service button multiple times. Was very stuffy and uncomfortable.

This is a great option for those who can’t drive and don’t have anyone to drive them around. I was debating whether I should go on this tour, but in the end it was better than I could imagine! You‘ll get to see many iconic places and a ton of „typically Irish“ scenes like green grass + cows/sheep + stone walls + the ocean. Beautiful and very much recommended.

Great "craic" and great views!
Sep 2020
Absolutely amazing trip! Our guide and bus driver (John) was hilarious and gave us just enough "need-to-know" facts. Everything ran extremely smoothly, there were enough stops on the way there and back and more than enough time to take pictures and explore the different stops.

Magical and beautiful tours!
Nov 2019
Our tour guide (a young man, whose name we can't remember unfortunately) was very knowledgeable, a safe driver, friendly, and patient. Driving between sites, you'll hear history, folklore, and recommendations while you watch tours pass by you outside the bus windows. The buses have charging ports/USB ports, seat belts, foot rests, etc. We recommend to bring a phone charger, smart footwear (sneakers!) and to pack light -- a small backpack or bag (with a water bottle and snacks if you'd like) were perfect for us. You're on a time crunch because you have other tour buses headed on the same route as you, so if you get somewhere late because a part of your tour is lagging, you may pay the price later by waiting in line. So make sure you adhere to the "time suggestions" by your guide. If and when we go back to Ireland, we WILL be taking more tours!

Best Tour I've EVER Been On
Jan 2020
I'll start with this--of all the countries and places I've visited, Dominic was the best tour guide I've ever had. Don't ask either of us how, but I ended up on his bus by mistake at the start of the trip (I had paid for 2 day...this is a 1 day tour). He was lively, funny, gave us great history on Ireland (and some cool insight into his life in Australia) on the 3-ish hour ride to Cliffs of Moher. First stop was at Bunratty castle...where Dominic and I first conviened. My 2 day was supposed to get me to Galway as well, and I wasn't accounted for on this tour. Dominic went out of his way once we got to the Cliffs to get me a spare entry ticket. Cliffs were beautiful--plenty of time to walk the majority of the length and check out the interior observatory.

We hopped back on the bus and Dominic asked if anyone would be opposed to going to Galway after with a little detour...to which nobody opposed. Basically, Dominic & his team worked around my own fault to get me where I had hoped to go anyways/was not able to go once I hopped on the bus that AM. That was magical--you wouldn't see anything like that in the US.

We had a brief stop at Doolin for lunch after our morning/early afternoon at Cliffs of Moher. Beautiful landscape, but plenty of others have shared pics before me, so I'll spare you.

In short--Take this tour. If you're debating it or even thinking "This isn't for me"--you will miss out on an excellent experience and memory. Dominic--I still cannot thank you enough for saving this trip for me! Thank you Paddywagon!
