    Northern Ireland delights
We absolutely loved the tour! Kieran & Brian were great and made the day thoroughly enjoyable. It was a full day (12 hours) but the tour was broken up really well with lots of photo stops. What I loved is that I never felt rushed and had more than enough time at every destination and they even threw in a few extra stops which really added to the experience. For our main stops, we had 2 hours at the giants causeway, 30mins in the dark hedges and an hour and a half in Belfast. These were supplemented with at least 6 other (if not more) 10min photo stops in really scenic places including Dunluce Castle. I would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing! So informative and both the driver and the guide were fantastic. We even had time for extra stops and a driving tour of Belfast's history. Thanks Brian and Kieran!!! Love from Australia ❤️

Day full of events, but not at all rushed
Tour guide Kieran was amazing and driver Brian made it a very comfortable journey. Both had amazing knowledge about the different areas. The day was incredibly well paced and let you get a lot of different experiences into one day, and plenty of time to take in the surrounds in each location. Really enjoyed the day and would go again with this team.

Are great way see Northern Ireland in a day
What a fabulous way to see Northern Ireland. Quiggs made everyone feel welcome while we were 100% looked after by Noshad’s driving. Quiggs has such knowledge and passion for his Ireland. A comedic encyclopaedia!

    Beyond Dublin
Delaney and Sijan Anthony gave us a great day. Sijan Anthony drove smoothly and safely to our destinations, kept us relaxed through the whole trip. Delaney provided good narration for history and significance of the stops. We met Dennis and his dog for a sheep trial. Excellent show. Dennis himself had won the competition for best shepard in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England in years past, proud to tell. He demonstrated the calls and whistles, the drives and the stays, and made for a unique experience.

Quiggs and Igor are the best!
This is an absolutely fantastic trip. For the value, you cannot beat it! Our tour guide Quiggs was a delight and easily navigated between interesting history of the land and making sure all guests were having the ideal trip. Glendalough was so good we actually took a bus there later in our trip to get even more hiking in! Our driver Igor was great as well and even when a guest needed to be dropped off early to go to the hospital he was able to adjust his navigation and quickly get us back on track once that had been taken care of. An easy recommendation to anyone trying to get out of Dublin for a day during their stay!

    Disappointed
Walking tour of Dublin. We walked a maximum of 500m in an hour. Excellent historical information, however I was expecting a brief overview of Ireland’s history and then a decent walk through Dublin’s sights such as Trinity College, Grafton St and St Stephen’s green. I think the information regarding the Walk should explain it is an historical one around the central historical block. My 25 year old son was very bored. It wasn’t what we were expecting.

A wonderful view of the country
Was very well done. The countryside was beautiful with lots of free time to explore, shop etc. The border collies were impressive to watch. Harry was a good tour guide who was quite extensive in giving everyone a bit of Irish history.

Unforgettable Northern Ireland Tour with Exceptional Guide and Comfortable Coach
I recently took a tour of Northern Ireland’s iconic landmarks, and it was an incredible experience! Our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, sharing rich historical insights with a fun and engaging style. From the Titanic Museum to the Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle, and the Dark Hedges, every stop was both fascinating and enjoyable. Special thanks to our driver, who ensured a smooth and comfortable journey throughout. The bus coach was modern, clean, and provided excellent views of the stunning landscapes. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Northern Ireland! Thanks Harry & Fread

Beautiful Coastal Scenery & Fun Belfast
A very informative and fun experience! My family loved the Giant’s Causeway, beautiful. The Dark Hedges were underwhelming, so many people and not as fantastical as pictured. If you could drop the hedges off the tour and do Dunluce Castle up close instead of roadside view, it would have improved the experience. Thank you to both Caleb and Igor for an amazing trip!

    A Magical Day in Ireland
What a wonderful tour! All of the stops were beautiful and fascinating! I would highly recommend adding this tour to your itinerary when you visit Ireland! There were rest stops planned during the day and the bus was very comfortable. Much credit to the bus driver! I’m in awe of your driving skills!

We got left behind by this company while on Holiday. After showing up to the pick up area early as requested and finding that that parking structure their company recommended does not open at the time they asked that we be there we drove to the busses and one of the men said to park two blocks down, we did. We came back 4 minutes later and they left without me and my family. After contacting the owner he refused to refund our money and pretty much said not his problem. After we contacted our credit card company they forced the refund. Do not trust this company with you vacation.

First of all, our driver Irenel kept posting on Instagram and Whatsapp during driving or focused more on his phone than the road (perks of sitting in the front). The front window was a few times so foggy, I was surprised he managed to stay on the road. A plus was his managment after our tire blew up, our breakfast stop was scheduled at a reststop while the tire was repaired.
Our tour guide Laurence wasn't really into sharing historical stories or doing an effort at all. It pretty much felt like a "gotta pay my bills'-job. He told a few facts but we passed endless castles and ruins and sites which I am sure could have been told something about.
At the cliffs, we had pretty much 15 min minimum less, which ended up as an "get out of the bus, take some photos, get lucky if u have time for the toilet and rush back". Shame, as this was the major stop we wanted to see.
The Burren was just simply called "baby cliffs", end of story. The stop in Galway was good, I enjoyed the town, though another 30 min would have been great. Due to some US citizens we left 15 min at least too late, no apology from them when entering the bus (oh the cultural differences).
During the first half of the trip, the music was just a classic music station. While I enjoy classic music, this wasn't the right time to play that music.
Overall I would never do a tour with Finn McCools again or recommend it. My friend and I had done a tour with a big green leprechaun looking bus before and that was beyond amazing.
Reading all the comments, we may just got very very unlucky about our bored tour guide and our terrible driver. Shame as we really were looking forward to this trip.

Our tour guide Derek was the best I have ever had! He was very informative while being comical at the same time. I have ADHD and usually struggle to pay attention to tour guides as in my experience my guides are usually monotone and boring. Derek was the absolute opposite and was super expressive and passionate about Ireland which made me want to stay awake to listen despite being incredibly tired from the lack of sleep from the night prior. His entertainment ranged from an extreme knowledge of Ireland's history to teaching us Irish trad songs and must-know Irish language such as "deadly" and "craic." He gave us all the information while onthe bus and let us explore each destination on our own which was really nice to have the freedom to move at our own pace and choose what we wanted to see and do. We were lucky enough to have sun at the Cliffs of Moher (which was quite a rarity especially in the winter.) Ultimately, my friend group of eight study abroad students loved our experience and felt safe the entire journey as our first-time driver Alex was smooth and purposeful on the twisty, narrow turns and Derek made sure to stress the safety of seat belts before and after every stop.

Derrick was an AMAZING tour guide: hilarious and who else has a guide that actually sings to them (well!) -!?! His commentary was both well timed and spot on-he gave time for rest as well as really great info along the way. My teenage daughter actually enjoyed the tour-and teenagers are notoriously hard to please! It was definitely a highlight of our trip. Absolutely fantastic. Oh and apparently our bus driver, Liam, was fairly new to the company and was both lovely and a great driver on windy narrow roads!! Congrats and thank you!

Our tour was with guide Neil and driver Nikko, the whole group represented tourists from different countries. Along the way Neil was telling interesting historic facts about Ireland as well as Irish jokes, and we all absolutely loved his singing and playing guitar!
Cliffs leave you in awe, very impressive. I had unpleasant accident on the path at the cliffs, fell down in slippery dirt, so please guys bear in mind and be super careful with proper clothes and shoes. Neil and Nikko were as much helpful and attentive as possible to me on it.
Galway city was on the way back and I really liked it, a very touristy place.
Highly recommend this tour, to me it is unforgettable indeed.

This was one of the best tours I have been on! I’ve been on many guided tours in different cities/countries with different guides, and this is definitely at the top of the list. The scenery/views of the cliffs were incredible. The cliffs are definitely a must see tourist attraction. When I went, I lucked out with weather. It was sunny and 65°F. However, I would recommend checking the weather before booking, as it can (and often does) not have best conditions near the cliffs. The overall vibes of Galway were also really good. Galway is a much smaller city, but it was still very enjoyable getting a bite to eat with street performers playing music in the background. Even though we just passed by the Burren and the Kilmacdough Abbey real quick, they were still really cool attractions. My tour guide, Luke, made the experience even better. He knew a lot about the history of Ireland and even made some jokes along the way to make the drive a little more enjoyable. 10/10 recommend!

I wanted to give a detailed review of our tours so we booked Cliffs of Moher for the first day and the second day we did dark Hedges Giant's Causeway and Belfast/titanic. We were lucky enough to get Anthony both days as our tour guide which was great -he is amazing. The first day Cliffs of Moher on the way there we do stop at a rest stop so you will have an opportunity to get hot food and drinks then when we arrive at the cliffs. we got about an hour and 45 minutes which is more than enough ,I would suggest take your pictures and keep walking to make the most of your time. it's very windy and cold so bring a jacket or a raincoat -no umbrella. Anthony was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information on the way there. There were a few other stops and photo opportunities which was perfectly fine and then we made our way to Galway which was pretty awesome there is lots to eat lots to do and see we had about an hour and 20 minutes . Get the fish and chips at McDonagh's in galway. I truly enjoyed the tour and I would give it a 5/5. The second day was even better we had four different locations to go to. Giant's Causeway is Simply Amazing give yourself enough time to get down there and take photos I think we had a total of 1 hour and 40 minutes if I'm not mistaken but well worth it bring good walking shoes. We did stop at a few other photos opportunities and then we went to dark Hedges where we had about 40 minutes which was enough to take pictures learn a little bit and go back to the bus. we then went to Titanic Belfast some people did not select that option so they were able to spend time in the city but Titanic Belfast was simply amazing as well and we had about an hour and 40 minutes. Keep in mind it's not really enough time if you stop and read and see everything so you may have to kind of skip some reading to get through the actual indoor museum because there is also an outdoor part that may take you about 40 minutes to see everything. All in all amazing I love Finn McCool tours and I would highly recommend it

This tour was wonderful and would definitely recommend. We had perfect weather (high of 70F/21C in June), so jeans/leggings with a t-shirt and light jacket was the perfect outfit. The sites were easily accessible but had stairs/hills and uneven footing, we both wore boots but could have gotten by with a sturdy tennis shoe.

The sites were beautiful, and had plenty of picture opportunities to capture the fantastic views of the West. Gallway was a lot of fun, wish we had more time to explore. There is a lot of time spent on the bus, so we would recommend bringing a book or something to pass the time for while passing through the city, but take in all the views of the countryside.

Christian and Stefan were fantastic. The tour was a lot of fun and we would choose Finn McCool Tours again. There were a lot of jokes, and even more facts to make it feel like we learned something new. Christian was a fantastic guide who personalized the tour to the crowd and Stefan navigated the roads like a pro.

A huge thanks to all the staff! It was the best trip for someone visiting Ireland for the first time. We felt very welcomed and had one of the best tour guides who shared some astonishing history while passing by the countryside. We had plenty of time to see the cliffs as well as purchasing some items at the gift shop. The cherry on top was when we got to spend some time in the nearby towns to see traditional dancers and drink in cozy pubs! It was definitely a road trip to remember!

This full day trip allows you to pack an incredible amount of Ireland into one day. Finn McCools Tours plans the day in a way that makes it feel manageable even though it is quite a long day. Our guide Sean McMahon did an excellent job at balancing Irish history, culture, and music with quiet time to take in the beautiful Ireland scenery. The bus is nice, clean, and comfortable. I also enjoyed being able to explore each stop along the way on my own rather than sticking with a group the whole time. I've now completed 3 different Finn McCool tours and will book with them again in the future!
