This was one of the best tours I have been on! I’ve been on many guided tours in different cities/countries with different guides, and this is definitely at the top of the list. The scenery/views of the cliffs were incredible. The cliffs are definitely a must see tourist attraction. When I went, I lucked out with weather. It was sunny and 65°F. However, I would recommend checking the weather before booking, as it can (and often does) not have best conditions near the cliffs. The overall vibes of Galway were also really good. Galway is a much smaller city, but it was still very enjoyable getting a bite to eat with street performers playing music in the background. Even though we just passed by the Burren and the Kilmacdough Abbey real quick, they were still really cool attractions. My tour guide, Luke, made the experience even better. He knew a lot about the history of Ireland and even made some jokes along the way to make the drive a little more enjoyable. 10/10 recommend!

This tour was wonderful and would definitely recommend. We had perfect weather (high of 70F/21C in June), so jeans/leggings with a t-shirt and light jacket was the perfect outfit. The sites were easily accessible but had stairs/hills and uneven footing, we both wore boots but could have gotten by with a sturdy tennis shoe.

The sites were beautiful, and had plenty of picture opportunities to capture the fantastic views of the West. Gallway was a lot of fun, wish we had more time to explore. There is a lot of time spent on the bus, so we would recommend bringing a book or something to pass the time for while passing through the city, but take in all the views of the countryside.

Christian and Stefan were fantastic. The tour was a lot of fun and we would choose Finn McCool Tours again. There were a lot of jokes, and even more facts to make it feel like we learned something new. Christian was a fantastic guide who personalized the tour to the crowd and Stefan navigated the roads like a pro.

This experience was definitely 10/10. After seeing that this was a full day tour I was definitely hesitant about booking. I am so thankful I ended up booking . We had an incredible day touring with Gina and Gornan. Gina made us feel right at home . Throughout the entire day she kept us engaged with Irish history and made sure we knew where to go for the best photo opportunities at each stop . Gina was so passionate about everything which made this experience so much more enjoyable. This is a must do if you are spending anytime in Ireland !

Luke was a perfect guide. He was funny and knowledgeable and I really enjoyed learning about Irish history. The main event, the Cliffs of Moher, were spectacular! I just wish we could’ve had more time there rather than at the little 10-20 minute stops. The itinerary is my only complaint.

It’s a 12+ hour day and we didn’t have time to eat. Yes, we stopped at a gas station in the morning but other buses also stopped there at the same time (little gas station+150 people=bad idea). So if you have to go to the bathroom forget getting food.

And yes, there’s a cafe at the cliffs of Moher visitor center, but we didn’t want to waste any time at the visitor center since we had limited time at the cliffs, which was the main event.

So then we finally get to Galway, thinking we’d finally be able to eat, but we had to inhale our food because we were only there an hour. We barely had time to eat and zero time to explore Galway.

In addition to not having any time to eat, every time we stopped (e.g. at the abbey, Burren, and Galway) at least 2 other buses were stopped too. So you’re constantly with at least 100 people. That’s expected and unavoidable at the cliffs because it’s a big attraction. But why stop at the same (extra) spots at the exact time as all the other buses?

I’d recommend cutting out one or both of the little stops, give people time to eat and use the bathroom, maybe more time at the cliffs, and if you do still go to the little extra stops, maybe go at a different time so it’s less crowded.

Absolutely lovely adventure to Cliffs of Moher and Galway! Noel is very charismatic and makes sure you have all the information you need to get the most out of this trip. He insures you won’t get lost and communicates with each individual traveler as if it was a personal guided tour. Gabor our driver was obviously skilled when driving along narrow roads and the major highways. He made us feel safe and secure getting us to each destination. Most importantly they made sure not to leave anyone behind and double checked the numbers at each stop before leaving. We loved hearing about the history along our journey and would recommend this tour to our family and friends.

This tour was magnificent! Whilst Dublin is amazing, getting out of the city was like visiting an entirely different country! The endless fields were a sight like no other, topped off by the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher and the beautiful quaint city of Galway. We got to spend over 2 hours exploring Galway, which had a bustling Christmas market and plenty of pubs to have a pint of Guinness as per the Irish standard.

Our tour guide Peter and driver Matko were brilliant the entire day, with Peter keeping us entertained throughout the entirety of the bus ride with his in depth and extensive knowledge of Ireland. Not only did he give us information about what we were seeing, he gave us an extensive lesson on the complex and rich history of Ireland and it’s people, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Kudos to you Peter! Matko was able to navigate the windy and small streets with ease, and for me who often can get bus sick, it was brilliant to have a driver who took care in his driving, so I was comfortable all day!

100% would recommend this tour to anyone who’s visiting Dublin!

Luke and Gabor were amazing. They are extremely efficient and if they have everyone, you will beat the crowd. The information provided is extremely informative and entertaining. They allowed us to take photos at different stops with the appropriate amount of time. Also, the Internet on my phone stopped working on the last stop of the tour. I dropped a pin but my phone stopped working altogether for a short time. I starting getting upset and they called me before leaving me since I did not make it back since I was lost. I was lost but they asked where I was and tried to meet me. They saw me on the street and made sure I got on the bus. This is the worst case scenario when you load additional data on your phone for travel and think you’re good to go. If it wasn’t for them, I would have taken a train back with a flight out of Dublin the next day. I was willing to do this but traveling alone, this made me feel that everything was worth the money, the time, and everything else. Others would have left even if Murphy's law is the worst. If I come back to Irland, I will make sure I use these guys again.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing day on this trip! At the beginning of the day we were a little worried to not be able to see the cliffs due to the weather, but it turned out to be a beautiful day, and we got to walk around the Cliffs and Galway with even a little bit of sunshine.
We had a tight time schedule which, in the end, was more than enough for each location. During the trip between the locations our guide Cillian told us Irish folklore, history, jokes and myths. He had plenty of knowledge about the views out of the bus, aswell as the ruins which we drove by. We got some recommendations for nice places to eat and tourist attractions in Galway which we were all able to see during the time we had for the visit. For all who have a spare day while visiting Dublin, I strongly recommend going on this trip, especially with Cillian as your guide.

For me it was the second time visiting the Cliffs and Galway but it was as exciting and wonderful as the first time. For my boyfriend it was the first time travelling to Dublin and Ireland in general. He really enjoyed the trip, the beautiful landscape and all the interesting information that the got through our guide Cillian. We already decided that we will definitely come back and book another trip with Finn McCools Tours, hopefully another one with Cillian and the same driver, as he drove very calmly and professionally through the narrow streets of Ireland.

I had a great time on this tour! Our tour guide Peter was very knowledgable about all areas we toured and shared with us a great deal of information surrounding Irish culture and history. He was energetic all day but wasn't overly amplified at 7 in the morning. He did a great job of keeping everyone on time and excited for the upcoming places we were going to tour. He was upbeat and positive. Our bus driver Stephen was very polite and nice. He did a great job of navigating and parking in areas that were easily accessible and easy to find. Kept us safe throughout the day. I would have liked to spend more time at the places but since it was a day tour I thought it was the best amount of time allotted to fit each place in. Had a great time and would recommend to anyone looking for a day trip out of the city!!

This experience was quite lovely and I would highly recommend.

The trip starts real early in the morning to beat the crowds at the cliffs. Throughout the trip Peter, the tour guide, is proving lots of history and facts about Ireland. It was so neat hearing all this information. He provides tips that help with a better overall experience. There is always sufficient time to see all the activities, so don’t worry about being rushed.

Peter has lots of knowledge and plays Irish music throughout the bus ride so it feels like you really know Ireland by the time the tour is done.

Thomas, the driver, is really experienced so I never felt fearful about the windy roads.

Great experience !
