Phenomenal experience. If you’re lucky enough to have Gerry, he was a treat! Fantastic driver, with lots of stories to tell, gave us great advice on what else to do in Ireland! We’re looking forward to taking more trips with him!

Best Birthday Ever!
Oct 2021
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful tour! Our tour guide Gerry was knowledgeable, funny, engaging and kind. He really knew his Irish history and kept us entertained while traveling. When he wasn't telling us stories or history, he played Irish music for us. We had plenty of time to explore and/or take pictures at each destination and we stopped along the way for "comfort breaks" as well. The bus was roomy, clean and comfortable and we were able to see quite a bit of the Irish countryside. The tour was a great price, and we were picked up and dropped off on time. Covid hit everyone hard and Paddywagon was no exception. They are trying to get back on their feet after having been shut down for over 17 months and I'd say they are making a great comeback! Thank you Gerry and Paddywagon for a wonderful adventure and for making my 55th birthday the best one yet!

Loved It
Our tour guide Frank was the best! He was funny, friendly, and shared a lot of interesting facts and history. The bus ride was comfortable and we got plenty of stops. It was also a great way to see the country side. Blarney Castle was incredibly as we’ll as the grounds. And you MUST kiss the Blarney Stone!

Awful
Sep 2021 • Friends
Horrible experience!! We were given the wrong meet up point online. When we showed up 10 minutes early and didn’t see anybody or a bus, we called them twice with no answer and by then it was already 8am so there was no way for us to get on the bus. I messaged them and still got no response. I want a refund but still can’t get in touch with them.

Ripped Off

"BEWARE" THEY ARE THIEVES, We booked a tour with Paddywagon Tours for May as a part of a British Isles Cruise in 2020. As you know The Cov-19 cancelled our cruise. All of our money was credited by NCL and all tours booked through "Trip Advisor" Paddywagon tours wanted credit card info and was not booking with Trip Advisor. They refused to refund our money claiming their offices were closed. Apparently they are sill closed since my credit card company has never been able to find them or get my refund of $144.00 back. They are Thieves they have no intention of refunding our tour although they have promised many times to do so in e-mails. I will never use Paddywagon ever again. Steve Krupp Galena Ohio

Second Tour & Still Impressed!
Mar 2020
This was my second time taking this tour. I went the first time back in 2018 and came back to Dublin with a group of friends and said 'We have to go'! It was a great time as it was the first. My friends loved it and it definitely made a positive first impression upon them of the people and culture of Ireland! Richard was our driver/guide and he was hilarious. He did a great job of balancing all the driving time with sharing history, good music/videos, lots of funny jokes and the occasional moment of silence . Starting so early in the morning can be hard to wake up and dive in to a full day of lots of talking and walking around so I personally appreciated a few moments first thing to adjust. We got a bit unlucky with the weather the day of our tour but he did a great job of bringing the whole group together to decide how to make the best of it. We ended up cutting our time shorter just slightly at each stop so we had time to stop at a local pub on the way back to Dublin. He was full of recommendations for other sites to see during our stay as well. Thank you Richard and Paddywagon for a great time! Worth the money and would definitely do a third time!

I would go again in a heartbeat

Such a delightful trip through medieval Ireland. I adore Ireland with all my heart and this tour only made that feeling stronger. Seeing the Rock of Cashel was like having a view on an Ireland just starting to emerge from the dark ages. If you close your eyes you can feel the ghosts of Brian Boru and Strongbow there. It was also touching to see the graves of loved ones buried there, some quite recently. The continuity here with the distant past was surprising and showed that the history of the place is alive and ongoing.

Dublin is a gem of a city, but Cork is ideal if you want a breather from the hustle and bustle. Do not go to Cork without stopping for Murphy’s and a bite to eat at Gallagher’s gastro-pub. Very classy, wonderful food, friendly staff, reasonable prices.

You obviously can’t go to Ireland without kissing the Blarney Stone. Bit of a walk to the top of the Castle, but worth it. If you catch it on a slow day when there aren’t many tourists, it’s really a beautiful place.

The best part of the trip, though, was our guide, Dermott (Paddywagon Tours). Very patient, extremely knowledgeable about our Irish history and culture. A true gentleman.

Blarney Castle, Cork City, Rock of Cashel
Feb 2020
Our driver/guide Richard O’Brien was outstanding. We were never bored as he entertained us on the drive. He helped us at each stop knowing all the details so we could maximize our experience, My personal favorite thing he did for us was to stop just before we arrived at the Rock of Cashel so we could take a picture. I received so many compliments about that picture! I took two trips on Paddywagon Day Tours and would highly recommend them. Both drivers were outstanding and they made my trip to Ireland that much better.
