About the operator
- 516starrh00Disappointed with this oneNov 28, 2023 Bus was 25 minutes late to start, he said we wouldn’t be cut any time but he cut 20 minutes off the cliffs stop to start. We also did not get out any at the burden portion. We stopped at a gas station for coffee, 25 mins at the castle, 35 minutes for a sit down lunch which was not enough time with a full bus of people. Our last stop was at a town that had nothing but a bar and a convenient store. No places to shop. It seems we were rushed to run and take a few pics and hurry back to the bus. We took a tour prior to giants causeway and had a great experience. This one we felt cheated and wouldn’t recommend sadly.
- K5634GEjeanetteh00Well worth the time and money! The cliffs are a must see if you are heading to Ireland! They are truly amazing! Paddywagon Tours made it easy to get there from Dublin and our driver, William, kept us entertained the whole day. He has quite the gift of the gab...
- Trip3766008824900Would avoid!I was really disappointed with my tour last week, and would not recommend Paddywagon Tours. We went the 18th of Nov for the afternoon half-day trip from Dublin to Wicklow. The ride there the bus driver maybe spoke for a max 10 minutes, when we were meant to be getting some of the history on the drive. Instead all we got was the bus driver telling us the 3-4 pubs he liked. He also seemed like he was not the happiest to be there. Then as we are arriving, he informs us that we will have less time at the place, only 1.5 hours when I think its usually at least 2 hours, as its "getting dark earlier here and I don't want anyone to get lost". It was still light when we left at 4:30, and think leaving at 5pm would not have made a big difference. Then we drive back, he doesn't really talk at all, other than to point out the same pub he mentioned earlier (is he being paid commission to do this)? We arrived back at 5:30, when the itinerary said 6:15, and then he announces to the bus that he will not be dropping us off at the same place he picked us up. This is because "the traffic will be a nightmare and it will take longer for me to drive all the way through than for you to walk.". So we get dropped off all at one spot, which is not there pick-up locations. I honestly think he just wanted to go home.
- H6494THbens00Richard O’Brien is the GOATRichard was the absolute best tour guide, gave us lots of interesting information about all of Ireland, made time for us to stop at a castle and also a pint! Would a million percent recommend
- Kelli C00Irish Day tours another beautiful trip.Flann our drivers was wonderful. He has the warm, friendly Irish spirit! He was an excellent driver and made sure to point out areas to us on drive out, very knowledgeable. I would ride with him again! Everything about this tour was perfect and just the right amount of time at each stop! Would recommend this tour Glendalough/Wicklow/Avondale definitely with it!
- travelingfoodieflyer00My Mixed Experience with PaddywagonI recently embarked on a tour with Paddywagon, initially with some disappointments but eventually finding some redeeming qualities. I had booked the tour with the anticipation of seeing the dark Hedges; however, to my dismay, the driver informed us that it was no longer included due to safety concerns and ongoing tree removal. Although this disappointment remains, I understand that this was beyond the driver's control. However, it is crucial for Paddywagon to update their website promptly to provide accurate information to their customers. The driver did offer an alternative tour, the black car tour, for an additional £20. However, since I had already experienced this tour years ago, I found myself wondering what to do for about an hour and a half while waiting for the black car tour to conclude. Also, The early start time of 7:20 am bus meant missing out on breakfast at my hotel, which was an inconvenience. Maybe they could adjust the time since the Dark Hedges is no longer included. During the meal stop at the restaurant chosen by Paddywagon, I found the vegetarian options to be limited. Consequently, my only choice was a bean burger, which wasn't particularly appealing. It would greatly improve the experience if Paddywagon could ensure a more diverse range of restaurant stop options to cater to various needs. On a more positive note, the driver made an effort to make up for the disappointment by kindly dropping us off at the Christmas Market while others embarked on the black car tour. This gesture allowed me to explore the market, grab something to eat in the city center, and enjoy the festive atmosphere, which enhanced my overall experience. Additionally, I did appreciate the opportunity to visit the Giant Causeway and capture photos and videos of the picturesque location. However, I would caution others against visiting the black building gift shop at the site due to the high additional cost simply to browse. To conclude, my experience with Paddywagon was a mixture of disappointments and admirable gestures. While the exclusion of the Dark Hedges was a major let down , the driver's gesture of dropping us off at the Christmas Market allowed me to enjoy the city center and the market's festivities. Taking these points into consideration, I would rate my experience with Paddywagon as 3 stars. I hope Paddywagon reflects on the feedback provided to enhance their services and overall customer satisfaction in the future.
- robertfrasernichols00poorunderwhelming . Not that different to many other coastal locations visited. Extremely good marketing
- shawnag57900Don’t Waste Your MoneyTerrible company with zero customer service! Do not waste your money. They told us to park somewhere 10 minutes away that wound up being 30 minutes and they left without us. Then refused to refund our money and we’re very rude about it. You’re much better off driving yourself or choosing another company.
- AnnPittsburgh_PA00So glad we did this tour, beautiful!Great tour, worth the drive! Our tour guide was wonderful. Unfortunately, I can't remember her name.
- merelh202300Book directly with paddy toursGreat trip! Beautiful nature and friendly drivers. Just know that you’re better off booking directly with the company, trip advisor does not give you correct information about the pickup point, I almost missed my tour. Thanks to a friendly driver from another tour I made it.
- linne-ollivier00Horrible company and customer service!!Sent a complaint and NEVER got an answer back … My jeans were drenched in coffee because of the wet seat in the bus. The busdriver Bryan knew that someone had spilled coffee the day before and didn’t do anything about it. As a result I had a very uncomfortable day, because who likes to walk around in wet jeans the whole day??? Now I can throw away my new pair of jeans. And except of the Cliffs of Moher the other stops were not worth it and made the day incredibly long. I DO NOT recommend this company!!
- terrykN802IE00Wicklow Mountains TripVery engaging driver! Very witty yet gave us all the history we needed Beautiful scenery and historic buildings
- enisahorvat00Worst customer service/ Ignoring customers on calls and e mailsI'm still ignored after couple of calls and e mails last weeks. they decided to ignore after canceling one of main attractions for No Any reason! They refuse to respond and even do Not want to deal with wrong they did! There is no contact customer service, if you call company they beeing rude refusing to give you any explanation saying to send e mail and they ignore all of them anyway
- Helene M00Giants Causeway from Dublin.Fabulous trip. Driver was great and the Giants Causeway is a must visit. We also stopped at the dark hedges. Highly recommend.
- emilypC4651MN00Fun tour guide with a sense of humor!Richard was an amazing tour guide! He told lots of fun stories and had a great sense of humor. He played songs to go along with whatever he was talking about-- usually in a joking way-- and made the whole day fun and memorable. One of my favorite parts was driving through the Burren, a beautiful rocky park-like area. We stopped for photos and were treated to gorgeous views. Highly recommend!

The tour was amazing and our driver Brian was so good! He made sure everyone was back on the bus for the next stop, told us the history of the places we were passing while allowing us quiet time to reflect and appreciate the beautiful countryside. I would highly recommend this tour.

Ian our tour guide and driver was hilarious and knowledgeable. He also was very personable and took the time to ask where everyone was from. When asked with a question, he always had a comedic response followed by a legitimate answer. He did his best to keep everyone on time, but he was serious about leaving people behind if they did not return at the specific time - which he did in Cork ( fortunately, the couple met us at Blarney Castle and returned with us on the bus to Dublin).
One note, I would recommend cutting out the hour-long visit to Cork, because it is not enough time to explore the city itself. Additionally, shorten the time at Blarney Castle by 15 - 30 minutes to ensure a reasonable return time to Dublin. Other than that, my mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour!

What a great day trip from Dublin. Paddywagon Tours, and Alex our tour guide, made this a fun trip. Not too rushed, not too slow. Blarney Castle and the Rock of Cashel are beautiful and interesting. I highly recommend this trip.

We had a great time on the day trip to Cashel, Cork City, and Blarney! Alex was a very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny your guide. We saw some amazing sights, learned some things about Irish history we’d be unlikely to hear elsewhere, and felt well catered to and taken care of. Highly recommend if you’ve got a day to spare when in Dublin!

I think this would have been a great tour except for the fact that the Google waypoint for meeting was not accurate and I missed the tour! I Reach doubt and tried contacting someone in time for me to meet up and no response! Trip Advisor refused to refund my money! I booked a separate tour with Patty wagon tours and enjoyed the day . Poor customer service Trip Advisor! I would have been relieved had they done anything to rectify the situation. A missed opportunity!

My wife and I would like to get off at Blarney Castle or Cork as our final destination. I read above that this is ok. Main question is: Can we bring our luggage on the bus?
We will be staying in Dublin and need to go to Cork to catch a Viking ship on October 3. Is it possible to take your tour to Cork and leave once we arrive in Cork to catch a taxi to the ship? We will have to small suit cases and a back pack.
Hi, can i depart at Blarney after the tour?
