    So Worth It
Excellent guide. It was so worth it to have a guided tour of Trinity College and the Book of Kells. I got so much more out of these treasures.

    Interesting Tour with Shane
Our guide was Shane and he kept the tour interesting and humourous. He used his voice so everyone could hear, was clear and didn't lose anyone. He also had some very interesting facts about the Book of Kells. Shane even took the time to walk with us separately through the Long Room, giving us more description and answering any questions we had.

    Worth the time!
This walking tour was a great way to see many sites around the city. Our guide Neil was personable, informative and kept the tour fun. I loved learning about different historical aspects and was a great few hours. Although there’s only a few main attractions for this tour, Neil took us to many different places and shared many different facts along the way.

    Amazing tour!
Alan (with the yellow hat!) was an amazing tour guide - he was knowledgeable and passionate about the history behind the Book of Kells, The Long Room and Dublin Castle. He was a great storyteller and kept the whole group engaged in the tour! Highly recommend!

Our guide Alan with the yellow hat was fantastic! We learned so much about the history of the sites we visited through vivid story telling and how to get the most out of our experience. He was an exceptional guide! I highly recommend!!

Good Guide, Poorly Executed Timing Wise
Dermot was a lovely guide and person but unfortunately he had us wait on another group in our party that was late which made the entire day rushed. We were told to arrive at 9:15 for a 9:45 AM tour which we did. There was another party that was lost and couldn't find us so we had to wait on them until 10:30 - meaning that by the time we got to the Guinness Factory we only had 20 mins to walk through it all, followed 10 mins to try a pint (10 mins to chug a pint) and then a hurried rush through Dublin (in the pouring rain) and by the time we got to Book of Kells we didn't even get to skip the line. We wish we had just broken off from the group and done our own thing at the Guinness tour - the whole day was rushed and we didn't get to experience what we paid for sadly. Again, our tour guide was lovely and knowledgable and he did feel bad but there should be a rule of them that if you are late or lost the group doesn't wait on you - it made our entire day (and last day in Dublin) and bit of a wash.

My wife and I had a good time and enjoyed the tour. It was a pleasant experience, and we both learned a lot about Dublin
The guide knew a lot about the Dublin area, was friendly and informative. He answered everyone’s question directly and had a good sense of humor.

Book of Kells was great. The place also had museum explaining everything you were seeing. The value was well worth it. Not crowded when I went on Thursday.

Don’t go if Alan with the yellow hat conducts the tour
The tour guide didn’t a lot of time talking, so much do we missed the entry time for the Book of Kells. He also seemed to talk to a chosen few do if you were up the back he was inaudible. A microphone might help. He needs to cut down his patter and get on Roth the tour. We spent more time listening to him than savouring the sights. At the garden that was close to the Chester Beaty Library, instead of walking us around he didn’t the time pontificating. He gave us his view of history rather than an u biased version. He seemed to delight in running the Irish and thief history, which is quite tragic, down.

    Neil was great
Neil was a great tour guide. Informative, funny, helpful. Gave us great insight into Guinness - both the business and the family. He pointed out a lot of items in the Book of Kells that we would not have seen on our own. Highly, highly recommend.

Easy access to Book of Kells with just the right amount of background info
Alan (yellow hat) was an excellent guide, weaving in the stories and history in interesting ways as we moved through the sights. He gave us some very interesting background information just before we went in to see the book of Kells, and again just before we went into the Long room. Not so much to overwhelm but enough to keep it interesting and applicable. I did not realize that this tour continued on to Dublin Castle, which is a short walk away, and Alan did an incredible job of pointing out the sites along the way and relevant stories for those places (including a surprising helipad in plain sight!)

Great overview of Dublin City and it’s history.
We covered a surprising amount of ground and Eoin pointed out many sites and stories I never would have found on my own. I learned so much and Eoin is a very interesting guide. Highly recommend

As a previous reviewer mentioned the first part of this “tour” was great at Jameson, but the Guinness piece was not a skip the line tour. Also, we found the guide from Letz Go City Tours to be a nice guy (John), but he added no value to our experience as Jameson had a person who lead us in the tasting and gave us the overview of the distillery. We believe you could have a great experience with Jameson by booking directly with them (there was no line there). As for Guinness, if you are a huge Guinness or beer fan, it would be fun to visit, but be prepared for lines and crowded spaces. Oh and the Letz Go City tour guy was really unhelpful at Guinness as he kind of lost us and did not really have any control of how we moved through the experience. That tour ended with a free glass of Guinness at the bar on the top of the building, but that place was packed, bartenders slow, and the music was so loud you could not talk to anyone without yelling.

Hello Carrjenn, it appears that you were on a different tour to the one that operated. Our guide stated that you were late coming and that you also kept on leaving the tour and were expecting the other tour guests to wait for you. Our tour also includes free sampling, drinks, and the best Pint of Guinness you will ever have at the magnificent Gravity Bar with captivating views of Dublin city and beyond. Again you walked off and went to the wrong location at the Gravity Bar hence you ended up in the DJ segment full of loud music and with a glass instead of a Pint. Our other guests who were with the guide were introduced to their Bartender who was awesome and showed the group how to pour and really get the best experience of seeing and tasting how a great pint of Guinness should be enjoyed. Our tour is indeed Skip the Line but again you walked ahead or were behind so you went into the wrong entrances. What a pity because on our tour you get straight to the action while in the company of our expert local guide who have been winning top accolades for their guiding. Best Regards,

This tour is so over hyped. Tickets provide a timed entry, you and a whole lot of other people enter at the same time. This is not a tour with a tour guide. You are shuttled along, cattle shute style, though corridors with pictures and captions to read. Floor after floor after floor. If u purchase the package that includes the free beer in the gravity bar you get to enter an over crowded space with very limited seating. The beer was pre poured. This was a total waste of time and money. Go to a local pub and enjoy a freshly poured pint instead.

Worst experience ever. Our tickets were not on the system therefore we had to purchase again and claim refund. The evening before an email was sent to me cancelling the booking only for it to be followed by an email saying sorry last one sent in error.

Neil did a great job and provided lots of insight, he made the tour enjoyable and entertaining. The line itself wasn’t an issue on the day I went but having someone walk around with you and giving you information was well worth the money. Visiting a local pub was another plus for our small group to just sit and chat for a bit before moving on to Guinness.

Dear Gust, thank you for your 5 star review. Its great to receive your feedback and expression of gratitude for a great tour experience. Neil is a great guide who is full of local insights and being a dramatic actor knows how to captivate his tour guests which he appears to have done on your tour. Our guides always like to include a surprise while on tour so its great to know that you enjoyed this aspect where Neil brought you to one of his favourite Pubs in Ireland. Thanks again for taking the time to leave us such a great review and we look forward to seeing you again in one of our other European cities.

The tour began at Jameson. The line we were supposed to “skip” was nonexistent. The tour inside was led by Jameson employee and was quite good. Then we’re handed back to the EZGo tour guide, and that is where the tour fell apart. He leads us on a very long walk from the Jameson distillery to the Guinness Storehouse for the second part of our tour, stopping multiple times along the way for long winded diatribes about the history of Dublin. We had already gotten this information on a tour that we taken earlier in the day so it was quite repetitive. The pleasant little buzz that we had gotten at the Jameson distillery was dead as a door nail by the time we finally arrived at Guinness. Everyone on the tour appeared tired and bored. By the time we went into Guinness everyone just wanted to get their free pint and get the hell out of there. The tour is marketed as Jameson and Guinness with little mention of the excessively long history lessons that you have to stop multiple times and listen to along the very long walk. Also noticed no long entry line at Guinness either, Although I will say that we went on a Tuesday so that could perhaps be the reason. If I had it to do over, I would do the tours independently and skip the guided tour aspect. Would also take a cab between the two places. You will save yourself a lot of time and have a lot more enjoyable experience if you do this on your own. Our tour guide was nice enough but was dealt a RAW deal with this particular tour. I’m sure he got very little tips because everybody was exasperated by the time we finally got to Guinness. He did not conduct the tours inside Jameson or Guinness, but just the history and lead us on the long walk between the two places. Again, I suppose not his fault but buyer beware. This tour isn’t what we were expecting based on the description.

Hello and thank you for your review. Your tour included Skip the Line tickets hence you didn't see the huge lines as you entered through a different entrance. The tour does include a short walking tour which is outlined in the tour description of less than 1 mile, packed full of great insights into the two cultural icons that are Guinness and Jameson Whiskey. 10, 000'S of visitors have rated this tour 5 stars based on its incredible inclusions such as Skip the Line tickets, samples, free drinks, fully guided throughout, and a visit to the oldest Pub in Ireland. WHAT'S THERE NOT TO LIKE? It appears that the Irish wet weather of the last week dampened your spirits. Best Regards,

What better way to kick off a day then a walking tour of Jameson and Guiness!

Neil was extraordinarily patient, helpful, accommodating and a delightful character! His stories were timed so that we able to take frequent walking breaks. While some of the stories may be a tad embellished, they were all worth a chuckle.

A few drops of the good stuff at Jameson, a pint en route at Irelands oldest pub, the Brazen Head, then a pint at the Gravity Bar at Guiness, how could the tour be anything less than briallant!

Excellent Tour overall, Neil was our guide and he was very knowledgable and entertaining. The Jameson tour was exceptional, Katie was our guide and she really did an awesome job. She was very animated and had a great sense of humour. I learned alot about the histroy of the distillery along with the process to make Jamesons whiskey. Definitely one of the best tours I have experienced.

Walking tour to Guiness included several informative stops, including a stop with a pint at one of the oldest pubs in Dublin, The Brazen Head over 800 years old. Neil was well educated and shared alot of history and stories along the way. This walk was in December and was a very cold near freezing trip, be prepared.

Guiness Storehouse was a decent experience. The tour here was alittle rushed, Neil just gave us some tips on which floors were good to visit. Then we had a free pint of Guiness in the gravity bar on the top floor. Excellent views of Dublin at night and very crowded. It appears the design of the Guiness tour does not leave enough time to explore the storehouse which has many floors and alot to see and do. Its really not a tour of the storehouse at all, you will have to do the exploring/tour youself afterwards.

If the Guiness tour was as exhuberant and exhilarating as the Jameson tour then it would be perfect to say the least.

Overall great experience and worth every cent, definitely would recommend this tour!!!

Our tour guide had no shortage of stories and tidbits about the city to keep us entertained as we walked to and from venues. He was a fantastic guide.

The tour inside Jameson was very interactive and well done and the Guiness Storehouse is just damn impressive!

On this tour our guide was Neil and you would be lucky to have him as your guide. He is very good at sharing his knowledge in a fun way and we enjoyed our time with him.

At the Jameson Distillery Neil coordinated the start of our tour which included one of three types of whiskey drinks after which he passed us off to one of the Jameson tour guides. They have a great touring system where they give you a visual and audio history of the company, a really interesting and interactive explanation of the distilling process and then a tasting with someone who walks you through the process of understanding what the tasting is all about. From a non-whiskey drinker I can honestly say I enjoyed the process from start to finish.

From there I think it was about a 25 minute walk to Guinness, but Neil took us for a stop at the Brazen Head Pub, a landmark Irish Pub as it is officially designated as the oldest pub in Ireland. This was a very cool addition to our tour and we all enjoyed that and the other sights Neil pointed out to us along the way.

Neil advised us the tour at Guinness would be one where we would see every floor briefly, then we would conclude the tour at The Gravity Bar for an included pint of Guinness from possibly the best observation deck in Dublin on the 7th story. After this we would all be free to go back and explore part of the lower floors that had piqued our interest on the way up.

This was another great experience with Neil and we hope you may have the opportunity to take this tour yourself with him one day.

Richard provided an absolutely delightful tour in Dublin, filled with fun tidbits and discussion of the city's history, as well as its iconic brands, Jameson & Guinness. He masterfully guided our group of over 20 people, keeping us in high spirits as we navigated the bustling city streets.

His combination of extensive knowledge, charismatic delivery, and careful management of our large group was impressive. His passion for Dublin's culture was infectious and it shone through in every anecdote he shared.

Thank you, Richard, for a fantastic day that exceeded all our expectations! Your tour was not only informative but also incredibly enjoyable, making our Dublin experience unforgettable. Given the chance, we would not hesitate to do it all over again. Highly recommended!"
