We enjoyed being with our guide, Frankie, as he gave us some entertaining and informative background on Trinity College, the Book of Kell’s, and other interesting things as we went out into the city. This is a good experience if you want an overview and we were happy with it. If you want to spend a long time in the anteroom of the exhibit itself , read every display, or listen to the audio tour, this is not for you. We did not feel rushed but were aware that we should keep up with the guide, which was just right for us. Not sure why it’s advertised as “fast-track, easy access” as we were just with everyone else who had a timed ticket (and it was pretty crowded on a Sunday afternoon) but we enjoyed having a local guide who gave just enough info and anecdotes to keep us engaged. Walking over to the Castle, we enjoyed more insight into that part of the city.

We had really enjoyed our tour at the Trinity College in Dublin thanks to our guide Brian, a really amazing guide that makes you want to know more and more about city’s history, involves you with his enthusiasm for history. We had learned a lot about the city, much more than we could by our own.
Thank you and see you soon.

Brian has a passion for Irish history that is contagious; he made me want to learn more about Ireland's fascinating and complicated history. His storytelling style was compelling and powerful. He also has a playful sense of humor that was appreciated! And, I liked the fact that Brian clearly laid out our schedule: first we'll do this, it will take this long, then we'll do this, etc..... Highly recommend, this is an experience not to be missed!

We were unable to locate our guide because the designated meeting place was a closed entrance to Trinity College. We looked for an hour and a half, and all the security guards were looking for the guide as well. We called the contact telephone number twice, left 2 messages, but still no call back 2 days later. Have emailed them and requested a refund but have not been able to locate any humans. Save your money or go with a reputable company who will respond to issues and problems that arise.

Niel - our guide, is punctual, very knowledgeable, careful, looks after everyone, engages with every member of the group, tells a little story about evey place he shows you, makes nice jokes ☺️ - I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere; he als made recommendations for place to go / eat and I even went for lunch to a place he recommended and I admit, it was one of the best culinary experiences.
I do recommend him / his agency. Thank you for such a nice presentation of your country, history, culture!

Neil was the highlight for me. I have seen Kells and the Long Room Library previously, however Neil’s knowledge about the people, places and things was extraordinary. His depth of knowledge combined with his theatrical training create an atmosphere of continuous discovery. Thank you Neil.

Had a great day with Gerry as our guide! We had two kids (ages 10 and 12) with us and they really enjoyed it too. It was very informative but not an overwhelming amount of info. Gerry was very engaging and welcomed questions from everyone, especially the kids. He was happy to provide suggestions for other things to do and places to eat in Dublin, etc.
We were able to see some key highlights of the city in 2.5 hours. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I took this tour with Brian on our first day in Dublin and it was a great way to get introduced to the city as well as see the Book of Kells and the Long Library. Brian was EXTREMELY knowledable and passionate about the material. You can tell her really enjoys telling people about the history of Dublin. The lines weren't too long for the Library, but on a busy summer day, the skip-the-line feature would be very helpful to save time.

So much more than just a tour of Trinity College, Dublin Castle, etc. and so worth the time and money! Neil McCourt was our tour guide and had brilliant commentary on Irish history, the book of Kells and Trinity, and Dublin in general. He made us feel so comfortable, his jokes were amusing, and we learned a lot along the way. Definitely a highlight of our trip!
