We had an amazing and adventure filled day with Bud seeing Ireland's sights! He was an experienced host who was able to share a fact or song about every sight we past on our journey. Bud's high spirits were infectious to everyone on the bus who was smiling, laughing and even singing along! The day could not have been more perfect with our host, the weather, the breathtaking sights and the vibes! It was a long journey but completely worth it! I highly suggest you book this experience, you won't be disappointed!

If you do decide to take this journey, I would suggest a good nights rest and some coffee to get you through the day! Bud would recommend you only take a nap at the beginning or end, no matter how tired you get and he was right. I fought the urge to close my eyes and ended up seeing some gems that weren't advertised while a lot of my bus mates were catching some snoozes in-between locations. Each road we turned down was special and allowed you to fully immerse in the experience.

Thank you for making our trip special Bud and showing us the beauties of Ireland!

I took a trip to Ireland in November 2019 (late writing this review), I booked my trip with some friends through a travel agent that was going on the trip & tours with us that had been to Ireland several times and had extensive knowledge of the “who, what, when and where” kind of things. We booked a private tour with Irish Day Tours for three days going all over the island seeing some of the major sites (but it’s Ireland so it’s all beautiful). For this review I want to focus on the company and not so much on the sites / landscapes, like I said what’s not worth seeing in Ireland. Our group was large (around 50 people), having been on tours before with this many people I imagined of having to suffer through a cramped bus ride for two hours at a time while getting to the various attractions. On the first day, I was super happy to see this big beautiful bus pull up for us, named EDDICUS. This bus accommodated all of us comfortably, there were shelving racks above the seats for shopping bags, phone charger plugs on each row, large windows and best of all the air / heating worked  We had three different drivers / guides (Rob, Aden & Fergal), each so unique I want to write a review for each of them separate otherwise this would be too long of a review. We stayed in Dublin and when you get there you are saturated with tour bus / group options so I am so grateful that we had a travel agent that book with Irish Day Tours, I could have not asked for a better experience. Our guides were all professional, personable, fun, on time, could drive in some dam tight spaces and super knowable. I was with 50 people and every one of us were happy with the guides, they seem to really care that we were having a good time and that we were comfortable, they were so patient with bathroom breaks and just the challenge it takes to get 50 people on and off the bus. I really can’t say enough about this company, if you’re going to Ireland, book with Irish Day Tours!

I took this tour on Oct 22 from Dublin at 6:50.
In simple words it was amazing.

The bus departs from Dublin towards the cliffs with a stop in between for breakfast. Once you get to the cliffs you will have around 1:30 to spend there. After the great views it’s time for lunch on a very nice pub in a little town. Then before Dublin there is another stop on the great burren (rock mountain). We arrived at Dublin around 8pm on Friday a bit of a traffic jam in order to get to the city center around that time.

Our guide Bud, besides being very knowledgeable about Irish costumes and history he was also very friendly. Rest assured you will have a good time with this lovely Irish guy.

Best from Brazil!

A good tour that lasted all day and took in the Burren, a sheep-dog demonstration, a boat trip at the Cliffs, Doolin and the Cliffs themselves, as well as a couple of other stops. Our driver-guide had a great deal to say. The only annoying thing about the tour was that we were all shepherded into an overpriced restaurant in Doolin for lunch. It would have been far better to have skipped Doolin and had more time at the Cliffs themselves. That way, those of us who'd brought a packed lunch could have eaten it, and those who hadn't could have eaten in the Visitor's Centre. As it was, we only had 45 minutes at the Cliffs because of that unnecessary Doolin lunch.

The bus is a double decker which is nice, that is the only nice thing to say about this company.
Our driver in the way to Cliffs of Moher apparently crashed with a car, however neither him or the 2 “tour guides” provided any kind of information we just waited in the bus for 30 min without knowing what happen. The tour guide Susy was absolutely terrible she had an awful time keeping and zero control of the group. For example she said I’ll go down to get the tickets, please wait here and half of the bus would go down. All this made us loose about 2 hours and instead of spending 1.5 hours in Galway we arrive once everything had closed and only had 1 hour. She did not provide not one single piece of information of the places we visited this is not a tour is a poorly done transportation company. The last straw was they impose us a place to have lunch and they sat us in the garden while raining! Despite having space inside, all the clients were in the garden freezing and damp, while the tour guides and driver were inside warm and comfy! Awful company, avoid at all cost (we made more tours with other companies and they were fabulous)

I was in the process of booking the Cliffs of Moher tour and was shocked to be met with aggressive antisemitism from Irish Day Tours staff. I brought my concerns to the attention of the owner and learned where this attitude came from. Instead of rectifying a horrifying situation the owner chose to mock me and dismiss my concerns. Stay away from these clowns. There are so many tour operators in Dublin that welcome all races, religions, and nationalities. There’s no need to support racism with your hard earned money!

What a beautiful day! First tour after pandemic break was just perfect. Very smooth itinerary (cliffs, lunch, city) with clever and funny guide and driver Rob whose local recommendations and driving skills were just adorable in the narrow streets of small villages in west coast. Super shiny catalogue weather as bonus. This trip is worth every euro and getting up early.

In a clean and well appointed tour bus, our tour leader/driver provided constant information about sites passed on our trip with clear and historical references throughout. Kevin was clear, friendly and with great historical background. He was also an excellent and safe driver not only on highways but backroads and thin alleys as well. Also a crack photographer as he offered to take a few shots of us with the local scenery. All in all, a first rate trip. Make sure to get Kevin as your tour guide!

I booked a tour for me and my friend who was only visiting for a short time to go to see the Cliffs of Moher and Galway. On our ticket it said to be at the Molly Malone Statue 10 minutes before th3 departure time which was 6:50. My friend and I and two other passengers arrived at the statue for 6:45 which is still 5 minutes before the listed departure time but the bus had already left. They left early and left us all behind.

When I tried contacting the company by phone, I was no longer able to connect with anyone and then when I emailed the company in search of a refund, which I should have been entitled to as the bus left early, they refused to give me a refund, did not acknowledge the fault in what they did and got my name wrong twice in the exchanges they had with me. There is a complete and total lack of respect that was displayed by this company and I would highly recommend going somewhere else. Wild Rovers is an excellent option who we ended up getting a tour with instead and they were excellent, kind, informative and welcoming. I would look into them first.

Connor is the best guide ever! He was educational and kind. He took good care of us and was a gentleman. He sang, gave a history of the places we were visiting and gave us tips on the places not to miss! The bus had wifi and air conditioning. Thank you Connor!!! Just fantastic!!!!!
