We had an amazing and adventure filled day with Bud seeing Ireland's sights! He was an experienced host who was able to share a fact or song about every sight we past on our journey. Bud's high spirits were infectious to everyone on the bus who was smiling, laughing and even singing along! The day could not have been more perfect with our host, the weather, the breathtaking sights and the vibes! It was a long journey but completely worth it! I highly suggest you book this experience, you won't be disappointed!

If you do decide to take this journey, I would suggest a good nights rest and some coffee to get you through the day! Bud would recommend you only take a nap at the beginning or end, no matter how tired you get and he was right. I fought the urge to close my eyes and ended up seeing some gems that weren't advertised while a lot of my bus mates were catching some snoozes in-between locations. Each road we turned down was special and allowed you to fully immerse in the experience.

Thank you for making our trip special Bud and showing us the beauties of Ireland!

A really long day but worth it. Bud told stories, and sang songs, and made us laugh out loud. Am exceptions tour guide and storyteller. Super kind and respectful. We got lucky no rain at the cliffs. We made a a couple other pit stops. My only issue was I didn’t want to stop at a dedicated lunch spot where you were forced to eat just there when they only had 5 things on their menu for $14 lunch. This was a waste. I would have preferred to just wait until Galway to eat or have more time. The lunch spot killed 45-60 minutes. Galway was nice but not enough time to do anything. It all felt so rushed. Got back around 8pm. It’s a 14 hr day

Our tour guide Harry, was an amazing guy, he constantly gave us very interesting facts and stories, and cracked one or the other lighthearted jokes to keep us entertained. The Cliffs were superb, with some fantastic weather to accompany us, and Galway rounded off a perfect day trip. I recommend this trip to everyone, but be prepared for some tight and windy roads, with some steep drops next to the road at times, however Harry managed this very well and gave us a very pleasant journey. Overall, a lot of fun and incredible memories!

The Cliffs of Moher were breathtaking when the mist subsides however Bud our driver was easily the highlight of the trip. His vast bank of knowledge ranging from Irish history to agriculture to his ability to keep his passengers engaged during the long 13 hour trip made this experience fun and informative! His songs were enjoyable, the bus was comfortable and clean and when a poor woman broke her finger by slipping on a rock, Bud took his time to make her a homemade splint before setting off again. This tour is a must do when in the city, we'll worth it! However, with only an hour to shop in the busy city of Galway it seemed more like an opportunity to stretch your legs than a part of the tour.

The tour guide for this tour, Kevin, was amazing. He was welcoming, informative, understanding, and peaceful. As myself and other tourists were on the road in the tour bus, he explained the history behind the landmarks in the Midland Region, County Clare, and Galway. Also, Kevin drove smoothly throughout the tour. As we visited the Cliffs of Moher, he gave us one hour and twenty minutes to take photos and explore the Cliffs of Moher. Later, it was time for lunch, which was not included in the tour and was paid by the tourists. We ate lunch at McGann's Pub in County Clare. Next, he gave us 20 minutes to take photos and explore The Burren. Finally, he gave us an hour to explore the city of Galway. If you are planning to visit or are currently visiting Dublin, don't miss out on this tour! It will get you out of your comfort zone and amplify your knowledge! 🇮🇪☘️

Bud was the absolute best! You could really tell that he cares very much about everything he was talking about. Incredibly knowledgable, genuinely funny, sincerely respectful, and truly warm; I could not speak higher of the man.

As a single gal hopping around a handful of European nations, this bus tour was definitely one of the highlights of my traveling! We got really lucky with the weather and the view at the cliffs was indescribable. Galway might be my favorite city in Ireland, and my only complaint is that we got to spend more time there. Overall, the day was lovely. I made some friends and got some really awesome pictures from the tour as well.

I took a trip to Ireland in November 2019 (late writing this review), I booked my trip with some friends through a travel agent that was going on the trip & tours with us that had been to Ireland several times and had extensive knowledge of the “who, what, when and where” kind of things. We booked a private tour with Irish Day Tours for three days going all over the island seeing some of the major sites (but it’s Ireland so it’s all beautiful). For this review I want to focus on the company and not so much on the sites / landscapes, like I said what’s not worth seeing in Ireland. Our group was large (around 50 people), having been on tours before with this many people I imagined of having to suffer through a cramped bus ride for two hours at a time while getting to the various attractions. On the first day, I was super happy to see this big beautiful bus pull up for us, named EDDICUS. This bus accommodated all of us comfortably, there were shelving racks above the seats for shopping bags, phone charger plugs on each row, large windows and best of all the air / heating worked  We had three different drivers / guides (Rob, Aden & Fergal), each so unique I want to write a review for each of them separate otherwise this would be too long of a review. We stayed in Dublin and when you get there you are saturated with tour bus / group options so I am so grateful that we had a travel agent that book with Irish Day Tours, I could have not asked for a better experience. Our guides were all professional, personable, fun, on time, could drive in some dam tight spaces and super knowable. I was with 50 people and every one of us were happy with the guides, they seem to really care that we were having a good time and that we were comfortable, they were so patient with bathroom breaks and just the challenge it takes to get 50 people on and off the bus. I really can’t say enough about this company, if you’re going to Ireland, book with Irish Day Tours!

A good tour that lasted all day and took in the Burren, a sheep-dog demonstration, a boat trip at the Cliffs, Doolin and the Cliffs themselves, as well as a couple of other stops. Our driver-guide had a great deal to say. The only annoying thing about the tour was that we were all shepherded into an overpriced restaurant in Doolin for lunch. It would have been far better to have skipped Doolin and had more time at the Cliffs themselves. That way, those of us who'd brought a packed lunch could have eaten it, and those who hadn't could have eaten in the Visitor's Centre. As it was, we only had 45 minutes at the Cliffs because of that unnecessary Doolin lunch.

I wish I could rate this even lower Beyond disappointed in Irish Day Tours. A dozen of us were left at the start of the tour to Cliffs of Mohar because it was apparently oversold. Even worse the tour bus operator knowingly instructed us to go to the other side of the street and wait for another bus as he sped off. He knew another one wasn’t coming and after waiting over 45 minutes the 12 of us that were left were unable to contact anyone via phone, email or chat.

A refund alone doesn’t make up for the 12 of us losing out on all day tour, highly disappointed in your service or should I say lack there of. I can’t believe 12 tourists were left stranded with no instructions and miss out on the tour everyone booked in advance with most of us being our last day in Ireland.

Definitely the cliffs of Moher are a trip that one cannot miss when visiting Ireland, the views are incredible. We really liked the city of Galway and the Bus driver was attentive and explained very well each area of the route that deserved our attention. The only reason I don't give this tour 5 stars is because the seats on the buses are very small and very uncomfortable for the trip. The company must consider that for a 7-hour trip, passenger comfort is important.
