Finally, visit Rock of Cashel, an impressive archaeological site with thousands of years of history, before returning to Dublin, where the tour ends in the evening.

      Best tour
This was the best tour. Aiden our driver and guide was professional & very knowledgeable giving us a wealth of information to & from our sites. We were 2 of a group of 12 persons that braved the wind & rain at the Hill of Tara. We were all amazed at the spectacular views from up on top. Each stop outdid the other. Enough time for rest room & our lunch break was not rushed. Most enjoyable day was had by all.

Driver Holds Bus Hostage and Makes Guest Babysit his Driving
The bus driver “Fred” decided to bring us to the castle before going to the hill, confusing the entire schedule and timing of the day. We arrived at 9 and were told we’d be leaving at 10:30, he seemed to not care that the castle did not open until 10 leaving us a scant 30 minutes in the castle. Thanks to the order change we could not get a tour at the castle, and so we couldn’t actually enter it. Afterward he drove us around in circles, wasting at least two hours time that could have been spent at one of our destinations. I believe the driver got lost at multiple points, he randomly stopped in the road to look at his phone and once even stopped to ask for direction. Eventually it became our responsibility as a bus to provide the driver with directions from Google maps lest we continue to get lost on every country road between Dublin and Cork. The driver did not stop for a restroom break, aside from his own during which he told us to stay in the van, for five hours leading to one of the women in the group having to relieve herself behind a building. The driver stopped to grab himself lunch, however we never stopped at the proper restaurant where we were supposed to have lunch assumably because the driver did not know where it was or did not care. People had to feed themselves with chips from one of the gift shops at a site we visited 8 hours late. We requested a refund and the company claimed that the “route was changed” due to “rain” however this does nothing to explain the situation in the slightest. It also runs against the driver’s own claims as this whole thing began with him claiming that there was “construction” on the road. That’s not even to mention that the company claims the driver to be a “knowledgeable guide”. The man had no idea where he was and never made a single comment about the countryside, landscape, or features we visited. Or that the driver regularly sped and ran a red light while entering Dublin, endangering himself and everyone in the van. Terrible company, don’t waste your time or money. Get tickets somewhere else to see the Boyne. And the driver is a lying idiot that should never have been hired, but since he was should be immediately fired.

      Great family experience!
Kevin was great, and the tour was accommodating for having an almost 2 year old. The sights are spectacular and we had enough time to explore each stop to our satisfaction!

It was very a very comfortable and interesting trip
We got a lot from this trip: wonderful coastal scenery at the Gian't Causewayf, very enjoyable visit to Titanic Belfast. Adrian, our driver and tour guide, gave us a lot of information about the places, and, more importantly, a personal insight into the history of the country

IRISH DAY TOURS - DO NOT BOOK!!!
Cancelled the tour without notice. Looking at other comments appears to be a common occurrence. Meeting time was 8:30 and found out the tour was cancelled when we got to the meeting point. Gives no time to make alternative plans.

We had a wonderful time. The tour guide William was so friendly and patient. It was a beautiful day. Only wish we had more time for the cliff but and glad that we got to do little stops in between.

What a great experience, what was even better was the coach driver William who knew a lot of history of Ireland, and the places that he took us. Thank you

I highly recommend this tour which was great fun, interesting and informative, thanks to Seamus our excellent guide.
A trip not to be missed. I can’t fault it and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys history. The day was great fun and very informative thanks to Seamus our excellent guide. Much of the time we were out of the coach and exploring which was good. We were fortunate that the rain and wind kept off until the end of the day but then a hat and waterproof coat were definitely needed on the hill at Loughcrew tombs. The stops for coffee and lunch were all well timed, as was the whole day.

      Highly recommend
From start to finish, everything was wonderful. We were well looked after and the itinerary was great. Loved the Cliffs of Moher and the traditional Irish pub that we visited. The staff and food were amazing!! The day was full of the most beautiful and incredible views. Derrick made it even more special. He was fantastic with everything he did from his driving, guidance, singing and recommendations. It was so lovely listening to the history of Ireland too. Thanks Derrick 😊 Highly recommend this trip!

Great day - well worth the long drive
Excellent day trip back and forward across Ireland - coach driver and guide Barry has the patience of an Irish Saint, proof was visible in his professionalism virtually have to herd cats throughout the day we were on tour! Superb driver - impressive to watch him - and so knowledgeable about the subject matter he tells us about. The Cliffs of Moher are surreal, a real highlight though was mixing with the locals at nearby McGann’s Pub for an excellent lunch. Great day - thanks for your work Bryan, and the good times!

      Thanks to Adrien and Isha
That was a great experience, thanks to Adrien and the storm Isha. The wind was incredibly strong and the ocean was wild, very impressive views. Despite the driving conditions were not the best, we felt safe as our guide was excellent driver and good story-teller - learned a lot about the Irish history. The front seats are the best. Probably will return in summer for the next trip and would go to Aran islands as well.

Phillip was our tour guide and bus driver and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. Bus was not only on time but Phillip was really knowledgeable, interesting, interacted will all guests, checked in to make sure we were comfortable with the temperature and all our questions were answered. My only complaint is there didn’t seem to be enough time at the Blarney Castle (we had two hours). From my understanding we were the second tour the company just added a walking tour option in the local city which was about a 10 minute drive from where the Blarney Castle is located. It would have been nice to have the option to stay longer at the castle and for those who wanted to they could do the local tour. My group opted out of the hour long tour and chose to find a local restaurant to eat since we spent the 2 hours touring the castle grounds. In total we spent 4 hours in that area and had we been given the option the group I was with would have spent the time all at the castle and the restaurants surrounding it.

Very awesome tour! We were blessed with wonderful weather too 😃. We visited Blarney Stone and gave it a kiss, Rock of Cashel, and they switched it up a little on us and we did a walking tour of Cork and learned it’s history. We got back to Dublin early which was nice! The tour guide was also the bus driver but he did a great job of entertaining us with stories and folklore! Tip: To take a great photo of kissing the wall stick out your lips as far as they will go to kiss it, otherwise you might just get your chin in the photo.

So, have to admit that the trip was delayed by about 15 mins which was kind of frustrating because we started at 6am. Jim, the replacement because the actual guide fell ill indeed made up for the bar start with his unique story telling methods. Blarneys Stone is a must visit for those who would want to know more in depth about the Irish history. We stopped by the Cork city as well for close to a couple of hours & it was every worth it. Personal suggestion would be plan a day trip to Cork alone as it has a lot more to offer than the time we got.

We were booked on this tour for Thursday August 3rd and we were phoned late Wednesday night to advise that it had been cancelled but it would be running on Friday. On Friday morning we woke at 530 am and arrived at the meeting place at 630am for our 650am departure. Along with the other passengers we were left standing there until 730am when they told us it was cancelled again. We left Ireland on the next day so due to the incompetance of this company we never got a chance to see the Blarney Castle. As we are from Canada we will not likely ever see it now. We had to fight for our refund as they tried to give us a credit valid for a year. They finally agreed to a full refund but that doesn't help us with never seeing what we came to Ireland to see ... very unreliable company I do not recommend

Took the Irish Day Tour to Blarney,Cork and Cashel. Rob our driver and guide was amazing, his love and knowledge of his country shows in all his actions. Loved Blarney more than enough time to see castle do a small walk around then quickly grab a bite before getting on bus if you manage time well. We had no lines at Blarney so there was time to walk the garden area. Then onto Cork instead of Cahir Castle(new itinerary) and although it was nice to see another city I would have preferred to go to Cahir Castle. We had a small walking tour of the city but I was not impressed and you can tell the citizens of Cork were amused by the tour, since it is new to their city. Then onto Cashel Castle, Rob gave us a brief history of the area and castle before arriving; it was by far my favorite stop. We were able to walk the castle and grounds at our leisure. The views from the castle, the inside as well as the cemetery was breathtaking. We would definitely book with Irish Day Tours again on our next trip. Thank you Rob for a wonderful day!

We went on the day tour of Blarney Castle from Dublin, the trip was great from the start , I think our driver had kissed the Blarney stone he could talk for Ireland but he was very good & knew his stuff. The castle is not big but it is great I have now kissed the Blarney stone which is quite a experience as you have to lie down & pit your head thru a hole in the wall to get to it.
We also stopped at a couple of other castles one on the way & one on the way back,if you like castles I would recommend this trip & the company Irish Day Tours.

The day trip was extremely well organised and very enjoyable.

Visiting all the castles was of course - amazing however I must confess the tour guide Harry really made the trip for me! He created such a comforting environment and he was ever so friendly, he’s very approachable too should you want to ask questions regarding Ireland etc.

The trip was very informative and I was constantly gripped by Harry’s commentary.
I cannot recommend this activity enough, a coach trip is definitely a must if you find yourself in Ireland and if luck is on your side you’ll have Harry as a guide too! You will not be disappointed.

Had a great day even though we were battling winds. In fact the wind was so bad that The Rock of Cashel was closed and our little bus was trying to be blown all over the motor way. Derek handled it like a champ tho and we made it to all our destinations safely and we're even given extra time at Blarney Castle and gardens.

I highly recommend once you're done kissing the stone that you spend some time wandering around the gardens or having a bite to eat in their renovated stables.

We had a really enjoyable day touring three castles. Our bus driver (Bud) was very chatty and informative, and on occasion broke into song. It’s a long day (12 hours), but doing it in a coach is reasonably easy. After driving for many days in a car, a day in a coach is very relaxing. We had enough toilet and food breaks not to create any problems (for me at least). Highly recommended.

My Husband and I went on this trip with Philip as our guide. He was funny, kind, and a bit overzealous in his story telling, but in a good way. He had a story for everything!

The first place we stopped was the Rock of Cashel, which was absolutely gorgeous ruins. The walk up is a bit steep so be prepared for that! However the place was absolutely stunning. I will say of the three places we stopped this felt like the most time wasted. We have an hour at this stop and really we were done after 20-30 minutes and spent those standing around. I wish we could have had that time at our last stop.

The second place was the stunning Blarney Castle. With it being St. Patrick’s Day week it was absolutely packed with tour buses. My husband waited in like about an hour to kiss the Blarney Stone and I walked around the gardens. We wouldn’t have easily been able to do both due to the sheer amount of people. He thought the experience to the stone was great but said the stairs were extremely difficult and narrow. The gardens on the other had were just absolutely phenomenal. Tranquil and gorgeous really. They make you feel like you’re in another world. We have 2.5 hours here but being our lunch stop too there wasn’t enough time for everything.

The last place we stopped was Cahir Castle where we got a guided tour that talked about all the defenses of the castle. It was SO informative, and really one of the highlights of this tour. I do however wish we were given those extra minutes we spent standing around at the first tour here. We were rushed and after the guided tour and didn’t really have enough time to walk around and didn’t even get to see the gardens or overly friendly geese.

All in all it’s a fabulous tour, I’d highly recommend taking it if it’s the only way you’ll get to see these places. Though Blarney could be a whole day on its own!
