Not only was the pub crawl fun, I learned a lot as well. For our last night in Dublin, this was perfect. A lot of fun and learning was packed in to a relatively short time. What made it even better was the fact that our "hosts" enjoyed themselves as well.

Booked this trip even though not really a book person. But I’ve got to say it was excellent. The stories imparted were delivered in a way that you didn’t think you were back in school. The pubs we stopped at were all welcoming and we had a area reserved for us. I learnt a lot not just about the writers but there back stories and there struggles in life. The Quiz at the end was a nice bit of fun to end the evening.

This was a highly intelligent interesting and fun event - well executed by passionate smart actors. My 19 year old was sceptical - not (yet) an irish lit fan but she loved it. The waiting for godot extract was magic and i really loved the oscar wilde goss on the steps at Trinity. Met a lovely couple from Colorado who were celtic lit tragics like me , had a great walk and went to some really good pubs - not the tourist traps. I highly Recommend this tour.

Colm Quilligan is a walking encyclopedia with not one boring page between the covers. Because of the covid restrictions drinking IN the pubs was not an option but thanks to his wonderful knowledge and pithy stories we could SOAK up the pub culture. The beginnings of pub life and it's famous drinkers alongside the genteel buildings of the city. For two hours he kept us entertained with the characters from Dublin's history. His Book "Dublin Literary Pub Crawl"is one of those books you don't shelve but keep to hand to pick up and show to friends. Eileen. - Edinburgh.

This comic duo are amazing and their fantastic literary tour was one of the best things I did in Dublin. It was both fun and informative and we visited some lovely pubs whilst finding out about Dublin's literary history. Would highly recommend it to book lovers, but also those who just want a bit of a unique experience!

I was an English major in college, I was traveling with 4 high school juniors who aren't necessarily interested in literature, or at least they weren't.
The tour was fantastic, Colm is so smart and a wealth of knowledge. The pace was very good in terms of both material and walking. He is such a gifted actor, he made the literature come alive. So highly entertaining. Really a fun and edifying evening. I absolutely recommend it whether you are a bookworm or new to these authors.

This was, by far, one of the highlights of our trip! Our travel itinerary prohibited us from joining one of the standard tours. So we contacted them to set up a private pub crawl. it was SO worth it! Colm was engaging, funny, informative, fascinating... I cannot recommend the pub crawl excursion highly enough. If you like literature, sociopolitical history, laughing, pubs, etc...this is your trip!

In all honesty, we weren't sure what to expect. I booked this as a Christmas present for my daughter. Can't say enough about how much fun this was. Learned lots but, most of all, laughed almost the entire time. Finn was a great guide - so engaging, animated and great to be around. Regardless of your level of knowledge about Dublin's literary past, I recommend this without hesitation! Thanks again, Finn, for a wonderful experience.

My husband, sister, two daughters and I did this Pub Crawl and it was fantastic!! Our 2 tour guides Colin and John were fabulous. Colin told some amazing stories and John sang and played the guitar. They were both very entertaining! They played a quiz to see who was paying attention the most by asking questions at the end and giving out a prize. One of the girls in our group had been on this tour 5 times because she loved it so much. We got to speak to our tour guides at the end and they were so personable and friendly! Such a great evening, I highly recommend it!!

This tour was the best part of our stay in Dublin!! The guides were wonderful, funny, and talented. The stops were great, and we learned a ton about Irish literature and history. My dad has limited mobility (walks slowly with a cane), and they always made sure he wasn’t left behind. I cannot recommend this tour enough!!
