Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a great guide and tour around the city. The guide was born and raised in Cork and knew a lot of interesting facts about his city. The tour gave us a great overview of the layout of the city and was able to recommend areas to visit and restaurants to partake.

We did the Cork City Ramble tour with Nuala today. Having lived in Cork city for a while now, this tour was a great insight to Cork city. Nuala gave is loads of interesting information. The information was delivered in such a nice manner with quirky bits and a personalised touches. Nuala is a fountain of information and very well versed in her subject. All in all a very enjoyable afternoon.

Mary O’Sullivan did a fantastic narration of the history and points of interest on our walking tour of downtown Cork. She kept everyone engaged and was interested in where we all came from. We covered a lot of ground.

I was visiting fromCharleston, SC and took this tour with my wife. Noel has the perfect background to be your guide as he is a life-long resident of Cork and spent 40+ years as a journalist at a local newspaper, including covering the entertainment industry. He has great personal stories to to tell as well as a great knowledge of the city’s history. He has an easy going manner and answered all questions with ease. Highly recommended.

For anyone starting their holiday in Cork, this is a great starting point to find out about some of the historical gems and take a guided walk through the city. Affordable and friendly, personal tour. Thanks very much Noel.

Our tour guide, Noel, was so knowledgeable and passionate about his city. He was a local journalist for years and knew so much! We were able to learn the history of the city, how it developed, the arts and culture, among other things. The walk itself was a pleasant pace and doable for many. I definitely recommend it if you are looking to find out more about Cork.

This tour was a treat! Our guide, Mary, was knowledgeable and very accommodating, and just as charming as this bustling city. By the end of the tour I was surprised by the number of sights we made it to, learning the history of the city the whole way. I highly recommend this tour to those visiting Cork!

Really enjoyed having the opportunity to get shown an in depth whistle stop tour around Cork with my partner. Our tour guide Mary was very knowledgeable and a classy woman. I would definitely recommend those looking to do this on their first day in Cork to get an idea of this great city. They also offer tours in Cobh to which after this one I'm looking forward to doing.

A very enjoyable afternoon walk around Cork city centre. Aideen the guide was energetic, knowledgeable and has an obvious love for the city and its history. The walk isn't too strenuous and timed just about right. I would recommend to anyone wanting to know what life in Cork is like, and has been like for previous generations of Corkonians.
