The Best Southern Ireland Private Tour!
We had the best time with Tony on our private tour around the southern region of Ireland. He was so knowledgeable about Ireland's history and customs and added fun and humor to our trip. He took us to so many interesting places both touristy and off-the-beaten path. He provided us with many recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and points of interest. He gave us free-reign to plan our itinerary and schedule for each day, and was flexible in making adjustments to our tour as needed. We felt extremely safe and comfortable with him, and his friendly, upbeat personality made our trip even more enjoyable. We definitely recommend Tony and Munster Tours to anyone visiting Ireland!

          Trip Of A Lifetime! 🍀🌈🐑🇮🇪
Incredible tour! Our guide, Tony was a gem, making the experience very special for my family. It was a wonderful experience, exploring the beautiful countryside. The hotels we stayed at were great! The van/bus was clean and comfortable. I couldn't recommend Munsterbus enough!

          Absolutely Amazing
What a fantastic journey we experienced with Munsterbus Tours. The problem is, now we are spoiled. The itinerary and hotels which were planned for us were excellent. We were able to see the “tourist” spots, but also some of the non-touristy beauty of Ireland. Our driver Tony was simply amazing!(don’t get a big head Tony). As he got to know us he really fine tuned our tour to the areas we enjoyed most, he had a great mixture of humor, history, Irish folklore, and always had great dining suggestions. We also had the flexibility to make adjustments on the fly, which was great when we wanted more time at a location. Because of Munsterbus tours and Tony, this has definitely become one of our best trips ever. We cannot recommend Munsterbus tours enough. If we get the opportunity to go to Ireland again, it will definitely be with Munsterbus tours.

Munsterbus is the Best of the Best!
This is a top-shelf company! We had only 2 couples on our tour - and a lesser company would have cancelled our trip. Not Munsterbus. We had a wonderful time and our driver Tony Murphy was fantastic. We had a good blend of historic sites and great scenic views. Tony stopped in some well-hidden places for photos and stretching our legs. He also gave us great advice about where to go for lunches and walking around each of the towns. The hotels were all 4-Star (out of a possible 4 stars). All were very well appointed and all had a bar for evening relaxation. Tony pointed out area pubs that feature music too. When you're in Kilkenny, be sure to visit the Hole in the Wall Pub. It's TINY, seating about 8 people, and it will take a bit of well-rewarded work to find it. The atmosphere is like something our of a novel - and to our absolute delight, a local stopped in and started playing Irish music on a "music box" (like a small accordion)! We visited the Blarney Stone. If you're at all claustrophobic, do NOT go. Climbing up the castle steps involved some very small walkways with low overhead. It's worth noting that if you want to kiss the (unsanitized!!! Blarney Stone. you have to get on the ground, lay on your back and slide into position, looking up at the sky. Of course, there's a concession-type photographer, who will happily sell you a photo when you finally get to the bottom. We opted instead for a photo, shot by our tour mate) of my wife and I having a kiss in front of the Blarney Stone. Close enough in my estimation. Fair warning about the Cliffs of Moher. It's WINDY - my best guess is that it was close to hurricane force. I'd say 55 MPH+. Our guide, Tony Murphy, came through once again. He told us there is a not-very-obvious golf-cart operation that takes people both up and back - and we took full advantage of that. That operation is - of course - named "The Lifts of Moher" and to top it all off, there's a gift shop named "The Gifts of Moher". We went the end of September, straddling into October. Dress warmly as the temperatures are starting to drop. Wear layers and you'll be fine. Finally, I give both Tony Murphy and Munsterbus Tours my highest possible recommendation. They're a 12./10! PS - please consider booking directly with Munsterbus. Their contact information is on the bus (see photos).

          A Wonderful Experience!
The 6-day small group tour was right craic! So many beautiful locales and towns visited, including special little stops that would be hard to find without a guide. And you can't go wrong with holding baby goats and sheep! Tony was wonderful - incredibly knowledgeable and funny. He also happily catered to specific activities we were interested in, including horseback riding. I already miss starting off my mornings with Tony on the bus. I couldn't more highly recommend this tour and company. You wool🐑 definitely enjoy yourself. 💚🇮🇪🍀

          Amazing 6 day tour
Hands down would recommend this tour for anyone looking to go to Ireland for the first time (or 100th). There’s so many different options and places to visit that I wasn’t sure where to start until Munsterbus was recommended to me on an online forum. Planning a family trip is tough but they made it an absolute breeze with getting to see a lot of the country in a fairly short period of time. Between the customer service (Cathy) and Tony the tour guide, I didn’t have to worry about a thing and they even helped me through some tough flight issues I had. Tony took us through gorgeous parts of Ireland and stopped and adjusted as needed for if people wanted extra time in a spot. The countryside, the mountains, and the coastline “hidden gems” we were able to stop and see (along with some bigger tourist stops) made every day an adventure and a joy to get picked up in the morning and see where we were headed. I’ve only been home about a month and would love to schedule another tour with them. Tony was the nicest, super accommodating, and had a great sense of humor to match my family and the others on the tour with us. Can’t say enough about our time on this tour!

          Absolutely amazing tour!
My friend and I looked at a few tour groups for this trip to Ireland and decided to go with Munsterbus tours. And what a great decision that was! Had an absolute blast with the 6 day small group tours this past week. Cathy was wonderful and answered all my questions that I had prior to the tour. Tony was an awesome tour guide (all the other great reviews you see I can confirm are 100% true!) Super knowledgeable and a great sense of humour. Cheers to you Tony you were Tony-riffic! 😆 Even got to hold a little lamb! What more can I say! Highly recommend booking with Munsterbus tours. It was a grand ol' time. If you decide to go with this tour you wool🐑 enjoy it very much, I guarantee it! I miss it already! 💚🇮🇪🍀

Tony is an incredible guide. Knowledgeable l, safe, and fun. He happily accommodated my group of ladies. I simply cannot say enough good things about Tony and MunsterBus. I travel a lot and always with small groups of women all over the world. MunsterBus and Tony will get my business everytime I am in Ireland.

          Amazing Private Tour of Ireland
We spent an amazing week long family trip in Ireland in May on a Munster Bus Coach. The coach was perfect for our party of 9. It was comfortable, had tons of storage and room for drinks and snacks. It was a breeze making the reservation and Munster Bus answered all our planning questions along the way. But the best part was Kevin, our guide and driver! Kevin is a wonderful person who provided so much information about the towns we visited. He has a quick wit, makes fantastic recommendations about sites to see, places to eat and where to grab a pint and watch a trad session. He is a wealth of knowledge about Ireland. I have had the great pleasure of using Munster Bus and Kevin on two trips now. I highly recommend both for your next trip. You will not regret it!

          A Week to Remember ☘️
Such a memorable and historic tour, with a highly professional driver Kevin, touring Dublin to Galway, and on to a wonderful night at Ballyseede Castle, and on to Kenmare and a quick side diversion tour to my father’s mom’s farm at Blackwater Kerry, where she grew up as a child before moving to the States and meeting my grandfather. What a totally thrilling experience, and Kevin using his highly honed detective skills to bring us to this wonderful farm and the Blackwater Pub next door to see my family photos on the interior walls! What a memorable experience. A night in Kenmare and a tour the next day of The Ring of Kerry. Back to Kenmare to browse the town shops, and a wonderful dinner at Bulmans’. Kevin was helpful in so many ways, from picking coffee shops to choosing pubs, giving our group of nine all the best decisions. His anecdotes and stories were both interesting and humorous and they added much to our tour. A wonderful two nights in Kinsale capped our adventure and then it was back to Dublin for a flight back home. What a grand pleasure was our trip!

          Perfect way to see Ireland!
This tour was the most fun you could have! I can't say enough about how well planned and executed the trip was. Although Tony was laid back and easy going, you could tell he knew little details that make all the difference. Rarely did we go more than 90 minutes without stopping to see something amazing or visit a small town to get something to eat. The hotels selected were wonderful, the included breakfasts were all excellent. I wouldn't go back to Ireland without taking another tour with Munstrrbus!

Absolutely Perfect 6 days. Great Guide
Such a great tour. Visited all (or almost all) of the key sites. Never felt rushed and didnt spend multiple hours in the bus. Visited about 4 spots every day and were left to explore a new city pretty much every night. We were given recommendations on where to eat, drink etc. Tony was a great guide, funny and informative. It was obvious that it was a pleasure for him to share his love of his country with guests. The hotels were great-all 4 star, all different. Just the perfect holiday.

          Private Dingle Peninsula tour
We had a great tour with Tony with stops in Killarney and Dingle, Inch Beach, and the "beehive huts." Tony was charming and informative and, even though we were unlucky with the weather, he braved the elements with us and showed us lots of "secret" scenic spots. Highly recommend!

We booked and took a private tour for 5 people from Cork with Munsterbus Tours on 9/28/2022. Tony Murphy was our driver and guide, and it was a day and money well spent. Tony was a solid driver and did a wonderful job of teaching us about the places we visited, played fun music, was accommodating of our frequent requests for bathroom breaks, and was quite lovely to talk to. He contacted me the day before the tour, and kept me up to speed as he was on his way to pick our group up. The bus could hold up to 15 people, so there was plenty of room for the 5 of us.

I wholeheartedly recommend booking Munsterbus Tours if you are seeking a stress-free and really decent touring experience in Ireland. This trip was a family one with all adults, and after learning that Munsterbus does custom tours that include hotels, we'll definitely be booking them again for future trips to Ireland, which is a frequent vacation destination for us. Really worth it.

5 stars are not enough to rate our tour with Tony as our guide and driver. We experienced the very best of not just the Ring of Kerry but also went where the big busses can’t, going through the town of Portmagee and off the beaten path for amazing views of Skellig Michael. Lots of stops, lots of history and maybe, just maybe, a tall tale or two. Tony kept us entertained, engaged and safe on the roads fit for the professional drivers, navigating the way around in a comfortable van giving the 6 of us all a window seat to amazing sites. This is truly the best way to see the Ring as we made more stops and stayed longer because we didn’t have to unload 50 people at each stop and enjoyed our interaction with Tony as if he was part of our traveling group.

Actually we enjoyed the interesting Best of Cork and Kerry Highlights as our guide accommodated our preferences! We had a terrific day exploring dramatic countryside and quiet villages while learning Irish history and gaining new insights into some of our own backgrounds in the States. We savored lunch of quiche and cottage pie with pints at a sidewalk café, were serenaded by street musicians while investigating local art and colorful woven goods shops for treasures to take home. It was a luxury to take our time where we wanted. The folks at MUNSTERBUS Tours know what they are doing and make lovely hosts for the homeland they love.

        Highly recommend!!!
The views were amazing, also the format of the tour is ideal for people who like to have flexibility in terms of pace of the tour and want to explore the delights of the ring of Kerry in a relatively short period of time without too much exertion. Essentially ideal when traveling with kids and the elderly. We travelled with our parents who are 60+ and this tour allowed us to enjoy time as a family while not getting tired from hectic schedules that generally accompany group tours. Tony our tour conductor was amazing as he patiently explained to us various trivia about the Irish and Ireland as we drove by the beautiful country side soaking up the beautiful views of the ring of Kerry.

We stopped at beautiful locations and even had the opportunity to try delicious Irish food, do some shopping and also have the most amazing scones ever in a delightful eatery overlooking a lake.

We, a group of 4, had a private tour with Munsterbus for 3 days from Kildare to Dingle covering the Rock of Cashel, Castle Cahir, Cobh, Ring of Kerry, Killarney National parks, Slea Head Drive, and Dingle.

We had a wonderful tour with Ian our driver and guide. Ian is a very professional and knowledgeable guide. He gave us a very good overview about history of Ireland and various historical places. He is passionate about tour services and we all had a very enjoyable time with him. Also his recommendations for restaurants are very very good.

        Thanks Munsterbus and Ian.

We had an amazing tour through Ireland in July, 2024 with Munster Bus Tours! They were a 10 out of 10 for service, tour guide, follow up, price and FUN! We were a family of 7 and not only did our tour guide Tony bring us around to all the places on our list, we went off the beaten path and he showed us an Irish experience we will never ever forget. His humor and kindness were out of this world! I would definitely use this tour company again and highly recommend them for all your Ireland planning needs! Kudos to both Tony our tour guide and Cathy who assisted in our planning. We had a memorable Ireland trip!

We had a very great time with our guide Jim. He was warm and welcoming. He told us a lot about Ireland's history and people. Jim introduced us to very amazing and breathtaking landscapes. Thanks to this private tour, we were lucky to discover places we wouldn't discover otherwise in a very relaxed and laidback way!

We took 2 private tours with Munsterbus - Ring of Kerry and Cliffs of Moher in May 2019.
Our driver for both was Craig M. who is a wonderful person and ensured we had fantastic days! We learned so much about Ireland in just those 2 days! Craig is a wealth of information, thoughtful and attentive to things we were interested in. He is an expert , safe driver for the challenging roadways of the area. The scenery is breathtaking- an absolute must for any Ireland visit! The private tours was so worthwhile and truly were the highlight of our trip!
