What to expect
Catch your coach in Cork, where you can settle in to a comfortable seat and enjoy the views on the ride to Killarney: the day's first stop. Have a look around the town before proceeding to Killorglin, home to the ancient Puck Fair, a Celtic festival dating to 1613.  Proceed along the Ring of Kerry to the Dingle Peninsula, where you stop at Inch Beach, Dingle Bay, and other spots to get views of the Skellig Islands. Next up is Waterville, perched on Ballinskelligs Bay and home to one of Ireland's most famous golf clubs. Drive through the colorful village of Sneem, where the Sneem River meets Kenmare Bay, and then on to Killarney National Park, one of the first in Ireland. Make a stop at the tumbling Torc Waterfall and maybe see some of the local red deer before heading back to Cork.  With all the driving on narrow roads, you'll be glad you booked a tour including transportation instead of going it on your own.

Was visiting Cork with a friend and we decided to go on the Ring of Kerry tour. The whole experience was fantastic!! When we booked the tour Goshe in the office in Cork was so helpful and friendly.

The tour itself was brilliant, and that was mainly due to our driver Martin who told us lots of information about Kerry and Ireland, along with entertaining stories, as well as some great Irish music. On the day there were a few challenging passengers who got back to the bus late each time, but Martin dealt with this so well.

The bus itself was not the usual Paddywagon bus, but there was a great reason for this. Several of the buses had gone to Ukraine with supplies and then brought Ukrainians back to Ireland - well done to all involved!

If you’re looking for a fun and interesting day trip from Cork, I would highly recommend this tour.

I’m giving this a 5 even though a small child was somehow allowed on the tour as the web site clearly states 18 years and older.

She chatted, at times quite noisily, throughout the entire day on the bus tour. Scoured looks from the white haired gentleman sitting directly in front of her did nothing to deter her behavior or cause the mother or grandmother to attempt anything to quiet the child down. Neither did the driver asking for quiet among passengers so that all could hear his commentaries have any effect.
DJ, our driver, was indeed hard to hear at times and I was sitting only about 5 rows back. Other than the noise machine on board, he was an excellent tour guide, very good driver and had some brilliant stories and comments.

Anyway, the scenery was luscious green, views of the Atlantic beautiful with white caps and sprays from waves smashing the rocks. Even with occasional bouts of rain, hard at times, it was a beautiful sometimes blustery day. The stops do not provide enough time to see the sights or shop at a few of the really nice gift shops along the way. One was Waterville, the other I can’t remember at the moment.

It would take several days to do this area justice and I would not want to be the one driving!

Excellent experience. Very kind driver, the trip was really great. Also as we were very lucky with the weather, we made some extra stops for sight seeing and pics. I would definitely travel with Paddywagon again and recommend it to my friends

This experience felt like secret handshakes were made behind the scenes and businesses were recommended at each stop despite them not being the best business in the area. The pictures on the advertisement showed areas not offered on the tour, so that was disappointing- the driver recommended coming back in a personal car to see all of the things the tour didn’t offer, which seemed a little counterintuitive. The bus was clean, the driver was polite. 3/4 through the trip the drivers switched out and the second driver drove very aggressively. The tour was adequate if you want to look out of the bus at the countryside from the main road.

We had a great day out with excellent weather & an equally excellent guide. Martin had a welcoming & kind disposition, was informative in a thoughtful way, was calm & courteous to all. My husband & I really appreciated him, the ring of Kerry itself made even better because of him leading our group.

Booked this tour to give my mum a flavour of Ireland as we were staying in Cork for a few days.
Excellent communication from the start.
Great value for money for a full informative day.
If you are lucky enough to have Brian as your driver you will have a great time.
Brian was entertaining and gave us a brilliant commentary all through the trip.
Lots of extra photo opportunities and great advice on where to eat during the day.
Overall would highly recommend.

Our day tour went very smoothly. We left an expensive Aran islands sweater on the bus. Gosia from the Cork office went out of her way to coordinate with us with a Dublin guide Jackie to get the sweater returned all the way to Dublin where we were staying next. We are so appreciative and impressed by their customer service. Thank you so much Paddywagon!

We, 4 Chinese ladies joined 3 Paddywagon Day Tours from Cork, May 10 & 11 were same driver. We could merely communicate in poor English. After visiting the last point Torc Waterfall at Killarney National Park, we came back on time to the parking lot where we were dropped off. However we could not find the bus and other passengers. Soon we realized the meeting place would be at another location. We were so scared. After around 25 mins., we managed to find out the tour company telephone number and with the help of other people, we contacted the company. The reply was unable to send any car to pick us up, could arrange a taxi at our cost. We could not afford the taxi fare to Cork, a distance of 1.5 to 2 hours. With the help of other tourist talking to the taxi driver, he sent us to Killarney train station, we took the train back to Cork.
For 2 days in the tour, the driver knew that we spoke poor English. If he was professsional and cautious, he should remind us if the meeting place was different, or return to the dropping point to find the missing passengers.
Absolutely crazy and irresponsible to abandon 4 foreign passengers at National Park at late afternoon!!!

Our guide on this tour was fine, but almost every stop was designed as an opportunity for Paddywagon to profit from prior arrangements with particular enterprises. We stopped in Waterville for lunch, a town with almost nothing to recommend it and very few restaurants, and we were directed to one particular establishment where clearly Paddywagon had a prior profit-splitting agreement. We also stopped at a shop in the middle of nowhere where we were told we just "had" to try the Irish coffee with milk made from "special blue cows," which was set up in assembly line fashion there to take euros from the dumb tourists. The only natural place where we were allowed to walk for a few minutes was the Torc waterfall, and if both parking spots for buses had been full we would have missed that one too. In short, I don't recommend this tour.

We did the tour today with Brian as our driver and Jim as our guide. Both were lovely and friendly. Jim was VERY knowledgeable and talked enough to entertain but not overdo it. Brian, as nice as he is, seemed to want to want to rush EVERYTHING!!! This is a full day tour, yet we were given only minutes in each location. I liked that we saw a lot but choices had to be made between sightseeing or eating/using restrooms. There is no toilet on the bus. So in some towns we didn’t get to even take a photo of anything. The description from the company said “return around 7pm” yet we were back by 5:30pm. That hour and a half would have given us a few more minutes at each stop which would have been FANTASTIC! Even 10 more mins in some of the towns or a few minutes at the quick photo stops would have been very, very nice. We were very rushed. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY recommend the tour but hopefully you will have a driver that isn’t so rushed.
