After pickup from central Edinburgh, set out for Stirling, traveling for about an hour in air-conditioned minivan. On arrival, explore the historic town, where highlights include the Wallace Monument—dedicated to the real-life Braveheart, William Wallace—and the royal fortress of Stirling Castle, which you have time to visit if you wish (entrance fees not included). Continue along the dramatic Duke’s Pass into Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, and stop to take photos of Loch Lomond, Scotland’s largest lake. After admiring the national park, make a final stop at the Glengoyne whisky distillery where you can tour the distillery and sample some whisky (own expense). Excellent guide and great locations
Mar 2020
The guide for our tour was very friendly, knowledgeable, and interesting. He told a good mix of history together with pop culture facts and Scottish myths. Stirling castle and the distillery were fascinating and Loch Lomond was beautiful. The guide even had Scottish music and folk songs to go along with the locations. The only complaint I might raise is that I wanted a little more time in each location, but otherwise this tour was great!

Our tour guide Lord John was absolutely incredible. He was so personable, knowledgeable, and fun! He took the time to answer all of our questions and went the extra mile and played music from all of our respective countries and cities. He really went above and beyond and we are so appreciative. I highly recommend this tour and this guide! It was easily the best tour of our Europe trip. Thanks again John!

Easy day tour
A great tour. Each stop was close enough so we didn’t have to spend the majority of the day on the bus. Each stop had ample time to enjoy without feeling rushed. The comfortable mini bus was a bonus. Steven B was a great tour guide and made the trip that much better. Read the fine print, had to pay for entry into the Castle and Distillery Tour which was a surprise but ultimately I definitely recommend this tour.

Glorious Highs in the Highlands
Wow! What a day! Our family had such a wonderful time on this tour. From start to finish “Lord John” was an excellent guide, telling stories, playing music, and getting us to our destinations safely. Stirling Castle and Glengoyne Distillery were our favorite stops. Highly recommend this trip!

Outstanding and Unforgettable Experience! Thanks Angus and Rory!
Aug 2019
Our tour guide Angus and driver Rory did a spectacular job getting us safely to each of the venues and home, informing and entertaining us all the way. Angus is passionate and knowledgeable about everything Scotland. He shared his extensive knowledge of Scottish history and answered all of our questions. It was like having a professor of history as our guide. The castle was great but for me the tour of Glengoyne Distillery was a highlight of the trip. I highly recommend this tour. Absolutely unforgettable and wonderful experience. Well done!

A great one day tour
Jul 2019 • Family
My parents, brother and I took this day tour and had a lovely experience. Kelly, our tour guide was the best! She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was very friendly and humourous. My family and I had a great time.
Personally, I loved the Stirling Castle, I expected to see more at Loch Lomond. We didn't have enough time to take the boat ride and were a bit disappointed. We visited the Glengoyne distillery which was a good experience.
The tour started at 9am and we were back by 7pm.
