      Great GoT tour
Great tour! So enjoyable and Robbie our tour guide was really knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. Phillip our driver was also excellent and friendly. Robbie had lots of stories of his own experiences on game of thrones and behind the scenes trivia to keep us entertained and the pictures of the scenes allowed you to visualise exactly where they happened. Plus you get to dress up with cloaks and swords - what more could you ask for!

      Robbie the archer
My daughter and I had an amazing day with Robbie the excellent guide and Philip the excellent driver! Robbie had loads of stories from his time as an extra on GoT and gave us so much detail about behind the scenes. It was wonderful to see some of the places where filming had been done. This tour was great value and we would love to do the Studio tour and Iron Islands tour next time we go to Belfast.

      How about a little appreciation!
I want to write a long detailed review as though how good the trip was, but honestly it can be explained in a few words: Excellent, Flawless and Wonderful. Our guide for the trip, I believe the name was Richie (I could be wrong) was so full of life! Properly enthusiastic in his passion, he delivered every information with charm and wit. I loved that he mentioned his experience on the working set of Game Of Thrones. it made the trip more personal, and may I add, more enjoyable! You can really connect to the world of GOT by just walking straight into it yourself, and come out with information a whole fandom would kill to know. What made this trip, in my opinion unique, is even though Game of Thrones is the theme of this tour, we get to know more of Belfast. He ensured us to know brief things about past history from places we drove past, and had us glued to his attention for the whole ride. Before I end this little review, I want to give a proper thanks to the bus driver of this tour, Philipp (I believe his name is). Thank you for driving us, had a good and safe time on the bus! Thank you so much for this experience, it is a memory I will cherish into old age. Sincerest, A fan

      King in the North!
This was a fabulous tour! If you're a true Game of Thrones fan, you do not want to miss this. Andrew was an incredible guide who was extremely entertaining and a brilliant GOT expert. This tour included so many great stops, and I loved seeing the clips played at each location to remind us of the exact scenes. I would absolutely recommend this tour to solo travelers, couples, friends or literally anyone who wants to immerse further in the GOT characters and stories. I loved hearing about Andrew's personal experiences and connection to the series!!

      Don't Miss this Tour!
I can't say enough great things about the private tour with Richard! He was an absolutely lovely guide with tons of information and passion around Game of Thrones and the areas visited along the tour. Super accommodating, flexible, friendly and just an overall joy to spend the day with. As a solo female traveler, I felt extremely safe and comfortable and highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves Game of Thrones or even if you're simply looking for a knowledgeable and enjoyable tour guide to show you some of the best of Northern Ireland!

An incredible tour - I'd highly recommend it!
We stayed in Northern Ireland for a week and this tour was the absolute highlight of our holiday. Richard was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and an excellent driver. We got to see parts of Northern Ireland that you simply could not get to on a bus. Hearing about Irish history, as well as links to the series Game of Thrones was fascinating - it was exciting being driven by Richard who has appeared in several episodes of the show. What an amazing coastline there is to see. The car was really comfortable with plenty of leg-room for all and provided a great view. Thank you Richard for showing us your wonderful country!

      Beautiful Craftsmanship
We did this walk late afternoon and was just getting to dusk when we reached the final window. Started at Glass 6 at HMS Caroline and worked our wat back to Glass 1 at AC Hotel, this seemed much more logical to finish near the city centre. Reasonably flat even walk with just a few cobbles. The windows are beautiful and well worth a visit if staying in Belfast even if you are not a Game of Thrones fan.

      100% worth it
This is an incredible tour. As well as seeing loads of locations from Game of Thrones you benefit from the wealth of experience Richard had on the actual set as well as the 1000s of stories he has learnt from other extras and the hundreds of fans he has met. It may seem expensive but being in a small group means you see every detail, have every question answered and have an even more incredible time. You also get to wear capes and hold swords.. what more do you want ?!?

      Bucket List Tour
As an experienced traveller and tour goer, I have never quite experienced as good a tour as this one. Richard the Wildling was personable, funny and incredibly knowledgable. We travelled in style and comfort and the entire tour with all the little details made it the most memorable experience imaginable. If I could give this 100 stars, I would. We were laughing and talking from the moment we were picked up to the moment we got dropped off. Richard knew every answer to our questions and gave us some behind the scene knowledge too. Wish I could experience the whole thing again!

If you haven’t yet…. You NEED to tour with Richard!!!!
If you can sum up all the amazing things you hear about Irish hospitality and roll it into a person, it would be Richard. Richard was so nice to us and knowledgeable and you could tell he genuinely wanted us to have a good tour. This was our second day as tourists from the states, and let me tell you the rest of our trip has some competition. Richard set the bar extremely high. If you are even remotely considering this tour, let me help with a decision. DO IT!! Absolutely no regrets and your time will be valued by someone who will show you around and give amazing stories and history!!

      Best way to experience Westeros!
Where to begin. The private tour with Richard the Wildling is quite possibly the single most memorable experience I've ever had ... certainly on the three-week trip to Great Britain this month. Richard picked us up at the hotel we were staying at (Titanic Belfast) and took us south of the city to Tollymore Forest (a magical place if ever there was one), Audley's Castle, Castle Ward (which doubled for Winterfell) and Inch Abbey (which I LOVED) and numerous filming cites for Game of Thrones. He presented photo stills and specific video clips of the scenes where the locations were used. At the Abbey, we donned Stark cloaks and swords and had several photos taken. While on the tour, I received word that the bus tour for the second excursion the following day was cancelled. Richard volunteered to take us on the private tour himself. And we could not have been more pleased. Day Two followed the first one - Richard picked us up at the hotel - but we ventured north of Belfast stopping at Carrickfergus castle (my sentimental request), the quarry that inspired the wall, Cushendun cave (aka Melisandre's cave), Ballintoy (Iron Islands; donned Greyjoy garb), awesome Giant's Causeway (UNESCO world heritage site) and Dark Hedges (another heritage site). The weather was cool, brisk and moody ... perfect for hiking and sightseeing. We were so fortunate to have had the opportunity of Richard for the two days. What's more the second day was unplanned so was a complete treat. Richard is not only knowledgeable of the locations and the show (he was an extra in two special episodes), he was quite simply the best company we could have asked for. As I reflect on the two days, I can say that the tours were exceptional ways of discovering the beauty of Northern Ireland. One does not need to be a fan of the show to enjoy the tour. The sites that one visits are spectacular and singularly Irish. That there was a television production that took advantage of the rugged beauty provides an additional layer of intrigue. I recommend fully these tours. Frankly, it's the only way to see this gorgeous country.

GREAT TOUR AND BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
Let's start with the tour. I did both the Winterfell and Iron Islands tours and both were equally brilliant. Guided by actual extras from the show, they not only pointed out popular film sites from the show, but the background info on their experiences in helping make the show took the tour to a whole new level. Richard (guide for Iron Islands) and Andrew and Lar (guides for Winterfell) kept us entertained the entire time. They provided insight into the show as well as Irish culture in between stops and helped everyone have the best experience possible. You could easily tell they enjoyed their job guiding us through the Game of Thrones realm. They gave us cloaks, swords and shields for great photos, took photos of us with their cameras as well as our own cameras and even shared the photos they had taken on their own phones with us! Personally, I had a few problems getting these tours done (through NO fault of the company or it's employees). I had signed up for both tours. The day before I flew from the States, I got an e-mail from Rob the Tour Director saying that my guide for the Saturday Winterfell tour tested positive for Covid. He gave me several options to choose from (including a full refund, but I chose to reverse the tours I had signed up for and go to the Iron Islands on Saturday and Winterfell on Wednesday. The Saturday tour was great as expected and even included the Giant's Causeway as well as the GoT sights. On Wednesday, the weather forecast didn't look good for us (Hurricane Agnes remnants), but the tour van showed up as scheduled and off we went. We got through the morning portion (Castle Ward/ Inch Abbey) without a problem, but by lunch we were informed that due to high winds, Tollymore Forest was closed. Richard told us that Director Rob would refund us for half the cost that we were unable to complete. They took us back to Belfast and I contacted Rob to see if I could catch the Saturday Winterfell tour so I could complete it rather than get my refund. The Winterfell tour out of Belfast was booked full, but he told me a way I could catch their Winterfell tour out of Dublin that same day! Although it took three tries, Rob went out off his way to ensure that I could complete both tours I had booked! I NEVER expected to see customer service like that ever in my lifetime! Most companies would simply say something like " Sorry, it's out of our control", keep the cash and wave good-bye. Not this company! As great as the tour was, it was the director, the guides and even the drivers that I will remember most! They all went out of their way to give their customers the best experience possible - even at their own expense! I cannot speak highly enough for this company, it's service and the incredible tours that they offer.

Winterfell GoT sightseeing, another amazing tour from Game of Thrones tours!
On this tour we had Robbie as a guide, another great guide who was an extra on the show. He told us so many awesome stories from his time on the set and just random GoT related stories. So much fun to hear! Another amazing time with GoT tours, I can only recommend this tour and the Iron Islands one, so much! You are in for an amazing time with lots of info! No dull guide sightseeing for sure! Tollymore was such a great catch for the eye! If I ever come to Belfast again, I would do both tours again as it is just too much fun and you get to see all these. great locations along the road !!!

      Unforgettable House Stark experience
I went on this trip with my grown up son and daughter ( both GOT fans) as part of my birthday present. From the moment we got onto the coach we knew this would be a wonderful day . Mainly due to our guide Andy McClay. He was excellent in every way, telling tales from the GOT sets, sharing his vast knowledge of the show , and having us in stitches most of the time. Andy was an extra in 5 seasons of GOT and we got to see him in action many times, using his photos and videos. The locations were amazing and it was great to actually be where the scenes were shot , with Andy telling us plenty of inside information at each. For any GOT fan this day trip is a must! Great fun all day with a few surprises along the way. Then of course a GOT episode playing on the journey back to Belfast! Brilliant!

Fantastic GoT tour yesterday (Friday) with Adrian (The Other Ser Davos) and driver Peter. The day was extremely informative from the get go and is worth every single penny...This was mainly down to Adrian who set the scene from the outset and kept us engaged throughout the day. The day flows, from insight into behind the scenes, to stunning site locations, Adrian ensures everyone gets involved...Even if you are not an avid Game of Thrones fan (my wife had never watched an single episode and is now intrigued) I’d highly recommend this tour and you also get the Giant Causeway thrown in to boot...

Absolutely loved our tour today that Brian led, he couldn’t of been anymore energetic, fun and knowledgable about GOT. As he was an extra throughout the series, he gave us an authentic insight into the show and behind the scenes. Well worth the money for everything you get included in the tour and breathtaking sights that you get to see along the way.

Thanks so much again Brian, pay rise for you!

A full, tiring but absolutely brilliant day well worth the money. Two extra stop offs to experience a bit of Northern Ireland included in the cost made it that bit better.

The tour guide was in GoT so he knew his stuff and had stills and photos to prove it. Was able to give loads of insight into how they made the scenes come together using the natural landscape and a bit of camera work

The day is on a tight schedule which is rigorously stuck too but this means you beat the old folk who are on a day out so you never have to queue

The scheduled pub lunch stop offers good food and is very well priced

A bit of CoS play dresses as iron islanders was great as we wore the clothes and did a few small mini battles to with the weapons

Can’t say anything bad about the whole day except that it ended

i went all the way to Northern Ireland from Indonesia to actually visit the studio tour that rumors said going to open this 2020 spring, to my dissappointment , its actually postponed until fall. however i decided to take the tours instead, from the get go, Brian the Tour guide and Peter the driver seems very enthusiastic and friendly, the tour took around 10 hours and 15 minutes, and during those long long duration, Brian always have something interesting and witty to tell and say, the guy is hillarious too!

+ the most fun part for us is when we can dress up as ironborns, in the actual site where they shoot majority of iron islands scenes. (the female outfit was really awesome)

10/10 would come again. especially if they hire Brian in the upcoming studio tour!!!

We went on the got tour guided by Andrew, is was amazing well worth the money enjoyed the whole day. Would definitely recommend. If I had to give one bit of advice it would be that the pub you stop of for lunch is very very basic and you are crammed in a small room, really didn’t enjoy the food. But the tour and host was amazing

Hi Steve, Thanks for your great review for the Iron Islands tour and your guide for the day, Andrew 'the Beard' McClay. The pub we stop for lunch is the Fullerton Arms and it's true, the seating can be cramped if there are several coaches landing at the same, or nearly the same, time. We are unlikely to have that problem this summer 2021 but we must find a good solution long term esp. in the new normal, cramped lunch space is not on. Thanks for that feedback and again, thanks for a great review.

The tour was great. We mere greeted by our tour guide and driver and they were fun and entertaining throughout the trip.

Our tour guide was “the other ser davos” who told of his own stories whilst being part of the GoT production - he was in it and was a Dopple ganger for Liam Cunningham, so much it helped him get into GoT as a photo double. So they are genuine people who were in the show.

Throughout the day we visited many places and were shown how it was filmed and how it was eventually made in production and it was fascinating to see the difference. Throughout the trip we were entertained by ser Davos and various GoT clips so although his was a 10 hr trip we were kept busy throughout.

We got enough time to visit each place and get our pictures, and were on a set timetable which ran smoothly. We were 1 minute late back to the bus at the giants causeway and were made to do the “walk of shame” up and down the bus which was fun!

Would certainly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed, it wasn’t one of the highlights of our trip!

Hi Wayne and Robyn, We're delighted to hear your tour of Westeros with Adrian 'wasn't' one of the highlights of your trip ;-) ;-) We know what you meant! Thank you for the great review and recommendation, we love to hear about our guides doing a great job. Having an extra who worked on the show and as Liam Cunninghams photo double adds that little something extra you just won't find on any other tour. Thanks too for all of the detail you have included, we hope this will be helpful to future visitors. Until we see you in Winterfell next... Valar Dohaeris

The tour was absolutely amazing and Robbie our guide was fantastic. Possibly a contender for the happiest man in the world! His passion was infectious and never wavered once from first thing in the morning until the very end of the day. I would not change a single thing and I'm so glad Robbie was our guide. The amount of time at every location was spot on and having time on your own to explore at a few of the locations was great too, a perfect blend.

Lunch was brilliant, a lovely pub with friendly attentive staff, great food, a lovely pint and plenty of time. Loved the throne! My other half is veggie and there was only one option, a salad with chips, however it turned out to be massive with every type of thing you could imagine on it including pasta and bread. I was a bit jealous, although the Guinness pie was superb too!

I would literally do it again tomorrow if I could. Will definitely be looking at a return trip soon to do the Winterfell tour!

Hi Drew, What an amazing review! Thank you very much. We love to hear when our guides are doing a great job and we totally agree with you, he is definitely the happiest man in the world ;-) Thanks too for sharing your tour photos, some great one's there of the stormy seas, it really does make you feel like you've visited the Iron Islands! Great to hear you've got plans to return to Winterfell, we'll be keeping an eye out for you both ;-) Valar Dohaeris

I attended the tour of the Iron Islands on 23rd January with my wife and friend, and we can honestly say that this was the highlight of our trip to Northern Ireland, Our guide for the day was Brian whos knoledge of the show and locations was endless, he really made the day fun and hes a top bloke to boot !
Also our driver Peter was brilliant.
the locations themselves are beautiful as is all of the coastal route which this tour takes with Brian pointing out things of interest and stories all along the way.

The fact that this tour includes both visits to the giants causeway and rope bridge were a fantastic bonus !
If i have one complaint it is that we didnt have time left in our trip to Belfast to do the Winterfell tour but we fully intend to do it on our next trip over.

At £50 per person this trip is rediculously good value, anyone saying otherwise SHAME !

Great experience , Stuart the bus driver was very friendly and very informative. Even in foggy weather where visibility was minimal, he made the experience enjoyable and kept us entertained while getting us to our destinations safely. The locations we visited were stunning and showed the true beauty of the Irish landscape. There was many locations we visited that were used in the Game Of Thrones TV show and as I am a GOT fan, I got a sense of nostalgia and happiness when I recognises the locations from the show itself. 10/10 tour and I would highly recommend.

Hi Jayden, Thanks so much for a fantastic review! Glad to hear Stuart kept the show on the road even in the atmospheric fog! Hopefully if you visit Belfast again you can check out the new Game of Thrones Studio Tour, opening later in 2021. Again, thanks for taking the time to write a review, we really appreciate it :)

I am a huge Game of Thrones fan and believe that this is a must do for other fans visiting Northern Ireland. Our tour guide, Brian, was amazing. As an extra on the show, he provided great commentary about each of the stops we visited and had lots of stories. On top of geeking about Game of Thrones, the tour is generally great because of the spectacular survey of the Northern Irish coast. I went on this tour with a friend who hasn’t watched the show but she really enjoyed the tour because of all the beautiful spots we visited, along with the background info provided by Brian so she could understand the significance of each stop to the show. My friend even mentioned that she might watch the show now that she’s been on the tour. Overall, I had an excellent experience and honestly would do it again tomorrow.

Hello Jbex618, Thank you very much for the excellent review. We're delighted to hear that both you and your friend had such a great time touring Westeros with Brian. We've just recommended to your friend that she binge watch all 8 seasons and then return to try one of our other tours!! Valar Dohaeris
