Giant's Causeway Tour including Game of Thrones Sites from Belfast

Select Date and Travellers
2 travellers
Spend a memorable day visiting what is undoubtedly Northern Ireland's most infamous attraction. Travel by coach on a journey you will remember for a lifetime, taking in the spectacular natural beauty that is the Antrim Coastal Road, Carrickfergus Castle, the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, the Giant's Causeway, and the Game of Thrones locations, including the Dark Hedges plus much much more. This tour travels the entire coast road from Belfast which is a must-see area of outstanding natural beauty. Not all tours to the Causeway include this but is widely known to be best route to the causeway. To leave this out of your tour would be a big loss!!
  • Explore the mysteries of the Giant’s Causeway UNESCO World Heritage Site
  • See Game of Thrones locations including the Dark Hedges
  • Drive the scenic Antrim Coastal Road and see the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge
  • Round-trip transportation from Belfast via air-conditioned coach
What to Expect
Meet at a central location in Belfast and head off towards the Antrim Coastal Road. Savor startling views of the Glens of Antrim as you pass through quaint hamlets and market towns like Glenarm, Ballycastle, Carnlough, and Cushendall. Next, stop at the vertiginous Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge that spans the gap between the mainland and the tiny island of Carrick-a-Rede. From here, it’s just a short journey to the Giant’s Causeway, the geological and mythological wonder with its hexagonal basalt columns: you can buy lunch here or bring your own. Follow in the footsteps of the giants of Irish folklore, and see if you can spot the Wishing Chair or Giant’s Boot. After learning the history of these ancient rock formations, you’ll visit the Dark Hedges, which you may well recognize as the Kingsroad in Game of Thrones. Finally, you’ll travel inland back to Belfast to end your tour.
